Psalms 141

1 A Psalm of David. LORD, I have called upon thee; make haste unto me: give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.

ダビデの歌 主よ、わたしはあなたに呼ばわります。すみやかにわたしをお助けください。わたしがあなたに呼ばわるとき、わが声に耳を傾けてください。

2 Let my prayer be set forth as incense before thee; the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

わたしの祈を、み前にささげる薫香のようにみなし、わたしのあげる手を、夕べの供え物のようにみなしてください。

3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my tips.

主よ、わが口に門守を置いて、わがくちびるの戸を守ってください。

4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to be occupied in deeds of wickedness with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

悪しき事にわが心を傾けさせず、不義を行う人々と共に悪しきわざにあずからせないでください。また彼らのうまき物を食べさせないでください。

5 Let the righteous smite me, [it shall be] a kindness; and let him reprove me, [it shall be as] oil upon the head; let not my head refuse it: for even in their wickedness shall my prayer continue.

正しい者にいつくしみをもってわたしを打たせ、わたしを責めさせてください。しかし悪しき者の油をわがこうべにそそがせないでください。わが祈は絶えず彼らの悪しきわざに敵しているからです。

6 Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock; and they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

彼らはおのれを罪に定める者にわたされるとき、主のみ言葉のまことなることを学ぶでしょう。

7 As when one ploweth and cleaveth the earth, our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth. (Sheol h7585)

人が岩を裂いて地の上に打ち砕くように、彼らの骨は陰府の口にまき散らされるでしょう。 (Sheol h7585)

8 For mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee do I put my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

しかし主なる神よ、わが目はあなたに向かっています。わたしはあなたに寄り頼みます。わたしを助けるものもないままに捨ておかないでください。

9 Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the gins of the workers of iniquity.

わたしを守って、彼らがわたしのために設けたわなと、悪を行う者のわなとをのがれさせてください。

10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

わたしがのがれると同時に、悪しき者をおのれの網に陥らせてください。
