Psalms 128

1 A Song of Ascents. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD, that walketh in his ways.

Пісня сходження. Блаженний той, хто боїться Господа, хто ходить Його шляхами.

2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Ти їстимеш плоди праці рук своїх; блаженний ти і добре тобі!

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thine house: thy children like olive plants, round about thy table.

Дружина твоя – немов плодовита лоза в покоях твого дому, діти твої – як віття олив навколо твого столу.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

Ось так благословенний буде муж, що боїться Господа.

5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

Нехай благословить тебе Господь із Сіону, щоб ти міг бачити процвітання Єрусалима в усі дні життя свого

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children. Peace be upon Israel.

і щоб побачив ти синів своїх синів. Мир над Ізраїлем!
