Psalms 120

1 A Song of Ascents. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he answered me.

ಯಾತ್ರಾ ಗೀತೆ. ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದೆನು; ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, [and] from a deceitful tongue.

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ತುಟಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಮೋಸದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ.

3 What shall be given unto thee, and what shall be done more unto thee, thou deceitful tongue?

ಮೋಸದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಏನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು? ಯಾವ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು?

4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಹದವಾದ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಲಿ ಮರದ ಕೆಂಡಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗುವುದು.

5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನಾನು ಮೆಷೆಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಬೇಕಲ್ಲಾ! ಕೇದಾರಿನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳ ಬಳಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

6 My soul hath long had her dwelling with him that hateth peace.

ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುವವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಕಾಲ ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.

7 I am [for] peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

ನಾನು ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯನು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವರು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
