Psalms 111

1 Praise ye the LORD. I will give thanks unto the LORD with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

௧அல்லேலூயா, செம்மையானவர்களுடைய கூட்டத்திலும் சபையிலும் யெகோவாவை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் துதிப்பேன்.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

௨யெகோவாவின் செய்கைகள் பெரியவைகளும், அவைகளில் பிரியப்படுகிற எல்லோராலும் ஆராயப்படுகிறவைகளுமாக இருக்கிறது.

3 His work is honour and majesty: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

௩அவருடைய செயல் மகிமையும் மகத்துவமுமுள்ளது, அவருடைய நீதி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

௪அவர் தம்முடைய அதிசயமான செயல்களை நினைவுகூரும்படி செய்தார், யெகோவா இரக்கமும் மனவுருக்கமுமுள்ளவர்.

5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

௫தமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கு உணவு கொடுத்தார்; தமது உடன்படிக்கையை என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைப்பார்.

6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, in giving them the heritage of the nations.

௬தேசங்களின் சுதந்தரத்தைத் தமது மக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்ததினால், தமது செயல்களின் பெலத்தை அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தினார்.

7 The works of his hands are truth and judgment; all his precepts are sure.

௭அவருடைய கரத்தின் செயல்கள் சத்தியமும் நியாயமுமானவைகள்; அவருடைய கட்டளைகளெல்லாம் உண்மையானவைகள்.

8 They are established for ever and ever, they are done in truth and uprightness.

௮அவைகள் என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள எல்லாகாலங்களுக்கும் உறுதியானவைகள், அவைகள் உண்மையும் செம்மையுமாகச் செய்யப்பட்டவைகள்.

9 He hath sent redemption unto his people; he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

௯அவர் தமது மக்களுக்கு மீட்பை அனுப்பி, தமது உடன்படிக்கையை நிரந்தர உடன்படிக்கையாகக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; அவருடைய பெயர் பரிசுத்தமும் பயங்கரமுமானது.

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do thereafter: his praise endureth for ever.

௧0யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி செய்கிற அனைவருக்கும் நற்புத்தியுண்டு; அவருடைய புகழ்ச்சி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்.
