Psalms 109
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం, దావీదు కీర్తన నేను ప్రస్తుతించే దేవా, మౌనంగా ఉండకు.
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me: they have spoken unto me with a lying tongue.
౨దుష్టులు, మోసగాళ్ళు నాపై దాడి చేస్తున్నారు. వారు నా మీద అబద్ధాలు పలుకుతున్నారు.
3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.
౩నన్ను చుట్టుముట్టి నా మీద ద్వేషపూరితమైన మాటలు పలుకుతున్నారు. అకారణంగా నాతో పోట్లాడుతున్నారు
4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I [give myself unto] prayer.
౪నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా వారు నాపై నిందలు వేస్తున్నారు. అయితే నేను వారికోసం ప్రార్థన చేస్తున్నాను.
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
౫నేను చేసిన మేలుకు ప్రతిగా కీడు చేస్తున్నారు. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు బదులుగా నాపై ద్వేషం పెట్టుకున్నారు.
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let an adversary stand at his right hand.
౬ఇలాటి శత్రుమూకపై దుర్మార్గుడొకణ్ణి అధికారిగా నియమించు. నేరాలు మోపేవాడు వారి కుడివైపున నిలబడతాడు గాక.
7 When he is judged, let him come forth guilty; and let his prayer be turned into sin.
౭వాడికి విచారణ జరిగినప్పుడు దోషి అని తీర్పు వచ్చు గాక. వాడి ప్రార్థన పాపంగా ఎంచబడు గాక
8 Let his days be few; [and] let another take his office.
౮వాడి బ్రతుకు దినాలు తరిగిపోవు గాక. వాడి ఉద్యోగం వేరొకడు తీసుకొను గాక.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
౯వాడి బిడ్డలు తండ్రిలేని వారౌతారు గాక. వాడి భార్య వితంతువు అగు గాక
10 Let his children be vagabonds, and beg; and let them seek [their bread] out of their desolate places.
౧౦వాడి బిడ్డలు దేశదిమ్మరులై భిక్షమెత్తు గాక. శిథిలమైపోయిన తమ ఇళ్ళకు దూరంగా సాయం కోసం అర్థిస్తారు గాక.
11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let strangers make spoil of his labour.
౧౧వాడి ఆస్తి అంతా అప్పులవాళ్ళు ఆక్రమించుకుంటారు గాక. వాడు సంపాదించినది పరులు దోచుకుంటారు గాక.
12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him; neither let there be any to have pity on his fatherless children.
౧౨వాడిపై జాలిపడే వారు ఎవరూ లేకపోదురు గాక. వాడి అనాథ పిల్లల పై దయ చూపేవారు ఉండక పోదురు గాక.
13 Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
౧౩వాడి వంశం నిర్మూలం అగు గాక. రాబోయే తరంలో వారి పేరు మాసిపోవు గాక.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
౧౪వాడి పితరుల దోషం యెహోవా జ్ఞాపకం ఉంచుకుంటాడు గాక. వాడి తల్లి చేసిన పాపం మరుపుకు రాకుండు గాక.
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
౧౫యెహోవా వారి జ్ఞాపకాన్ని భూమిపై నుండి కొట్టి వేస్తాడు గాక. వారి దోషం నిత్యం యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడు గాక.
16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, and the broken in heart, to slay [them].
౧౬ఎందుకంటే దయ చూపడానికి వాడు ఎంతమాత్రం ప్రయత్నించలేదు. దానికి బదులుగా నలిగిపోయిన వాణ్ణి, అవసరంలో ఉన్నవాణ్ణి పీడించాడు. గుండె పగిలిన వాణ్ణి చంపాడు.
17 Yea, he loved cursing, and it came unto him; and he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him.
౧౭శపించడం వాడికి మహా ఇష్టం. కాబట్టి అది వాడి మీదికే రావాలి. దీవెనను వాడు అసహ్యించుకున్నాడు. కాబట్టి ఏ దీవెనా వాడికి దక్కదు.
18 He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment, and it came into his inward parts like water, and like oil into his bones. Let it be unto him as the raiment
౧౮ఉత్తరీయంలాగా వాడు శాపాన్ని ధరించాడు. నీళ్లవలె అది వాడి కడుపులోకి దిగిపోయింది. నూనె వలె వాడి ఎముకల్లోకి ఇంకింది.
19 wherewith he covereth himself, and for the girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
౧౯కప్పుకోడానికి ధరించే వస్త్రం లాగా, తాను నిత్యం కట్టుకునే నడికట్టులాగా అది వాణ్ణి వదలకుండు గాక.
20 This is the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
౨౦నాపై నేరం మోపేవారికి, నా గురించి చెడుగా మాట్లాడే వారికి ఇదే యెహోవా వలన కలిగే ప్రతీకారం అవుతుంది గాక.
21 But deal thou with me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me,
౨౧యెహోవా ప్రభూ, నీ నామాన్నిబట్టి నా పట్ల దయ చూపు. నీ నిబంధన విశ్వసనీయత ఉదాత్తమైనది గనక నన్ను రక్షించు.
22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
౨౨నేను పీడితుణ్ణి. అవసరంలో ఉన్నాను. నా హృదయం నాలో గాయపడి ఉంది.
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
౨౩సాయంత్రం నీడలాగా నేను క్షీణించిపోతున్నాను. మిడతలను విదిలించినట్టు నన్ను విదిలిస్తారు.
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
౨౪ఉపవాసం మూలాన నా మోకాళ్లు బలహీనమై పోయాయి. నా శరీరం ఎముకల గూడు అయిపోయింది.
25 I am become also a reproach unto them: when they see me, they shake their head.
౨౫నాపై నిందలు మోపే వారు నన్ను పిచ్చివాడన్నట్టు చూస్తున్నారు. వారు నన్ను చూసి తలాడిస్తున్నారు.
26 Help me, O LORD my God; O save me according to thy mercy:
౨౬యెహోవా నా దేవా, నాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి. నీ నిబంధన విశ్వాస్యతను బట్టి నన్ను రక్షించు.
27 That they may know that this is thy hand; [that] thou, LORD, hast done it.
౨౭ఇది నీ వల్లనే జరిగిందనీ, యెహోవావైన నీవే దీన్ని చేశావనీ వారికి తెలియాలి.
28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, they shall be ashamed, but thy servant shall rejoice.
౨౮వారు నన్ను శపిస్తున్నారు గానీ దయచేసి నీవు నన్ను దీవించు. వారు నాపై దాడి చేస్తే వారికే అవమానం కలగాలి. నీ సేవకుడు మాత్రం సంతోషించాలి.
29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with dishonour, and let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a mantle.
౨౯నా విరోధులు అవమానం ధరించుకుంటారు గాక. తమ సిగ్గునే ఉత్తరీయంగా కప్పుకుంటారు గాక.
30 I will give great thanks unto the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
౩౦సంతోషంతో నేను యెహోవాకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు మెండుగా చెల్లిస్తాను. సమూహాల మధ్య నేనాయన్ని స్తుతిస్తాను.
31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the needy, to save him from them that judge his soul.
౩౧ఎందుకంటే పీడితులను బెదిరించే వారినుండి వారిని విడిపించడానికి వారి కుడి వైపున ఆయన నిలబడతాడు.
