Psalms 104
1 Bless the LORD O my soul, O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
Binecuvântează pe DOMNUL, suflete al meu. DOAMNE Dumnezeul meu, tu ești foarte mare; tu ești îmbrăcat cu onoare și maiestate.
2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
Cel care se acoperă cu lumină precum cu o haină, cel care întinde cerurile ca pe o perdea,
3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; who maketh the clouds his chariot; who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
Cel care pune bârnele cămărilor lui în ape, cel care face din nori carul său; cel care umblă pe aripile vântului;
4 Who maketh winds his messengers; his ministers a flaming fire:
Cel care face îngerii lui duhuri; pe servitorii lui un foc arzând;
5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved for ever.
Care a pus fundațiile pământului, ca să nu fie clintit niciodată.
6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains.
Tu l-ai acoperit cu adâncul precum cu o haină, apele au stat deasupra munților.
7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away;
La mustrarea ta ele au fugit; la vocea tunetului tău au plecat în grabă.
8 They went up by the mountains, they went down by the valleys, unto the place which thou hadst founded for them.
Ele urcă pe munți; coboară pe văi spre locul pe care tu l-ai întemeiat pentru ele.
9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
Ai așezat un hotar ca ele să nu treacă peste el, ca să nu se întoarcă din nou să acopere pământul.
10 He sendeth forth springs into the valleys; they run among the mountains:
El trimite izvoarele în văile care aleargă printre dealuri.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.
Ele adapă fiecare fiară a câmpului, măgarii sălbatici își astâmpără setea.
12 By them the fowl of the heaven have their habitation, they sing among the branches.
Prin ele păsările cerului, care cântă printre ramuri, își vor avea locuințele.
13 He watereth the mountains from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
El adapă dealurile din cămările lui, pământul este săturat cu rodul lucrărilor tale.
14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; that he may bring forth food out of the earth:
El face să crească iarba pentru vite și verdeață pentru folosul omului, ca să aducă hrană din pământ;
15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, [and] oil to make his face to shine, and bread that strengtheneth man’s heart.
Și vin, care face inima omului veselă, și untdelemn pentru a face fața lui să strălucească și pâine care întărește inima omului.
16 The trees of the LORD are satisfied; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
Copacii DOMNULUI sunt plini de sevă; cedrii Libanului, pe care i-a sădit,
17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
Unde păsările își fac cuiburile; cât despre barză, brazii sunt casa ei.
18 The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the conies.
Dealurile înalte sunt un loc de scăpare pentru caprele sălbatice; și stâncile pentru iepuri.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
El a rânduit luna pentru anotimpuri, soarele își cunoaște apusul.
20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night; Wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
Tu faci întuneric și este noapte, în care toate fiarele pădurii se furișează.
21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
Leii tineri răcnesc după prada lor și își caută hrana de la Dumnezeu.
22 The sun ariseth, they get them away, and lay them down in their dens.
Soarele răsare, ei se adună și se culcă în vizuinile lor.
23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
Omul iese la lucrarea lui și la munca lui până seara.
24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
DOAMNE, cât de multe sunt lucrările tale! În înțelepciune le-ai făcut pe toate, pământul este plin de bogățiile tale.
25 Yonder is the sea, great and wide, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
Așa este această măreață și largă mare, în care sunt nenumărate lucruri furișându-se, deopotrivă fiare mici și mari.
26 There go the ships; there is leviathan, whom thou hast formed to take his pastime therein.
Acolo merg corăbiile, acolo este acel leviatan, tu l-ai făcut să se joace în ea.
27 These wait all upon thee, that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
Acestea toate te așteptă, ca să le dai hrana la timpul cuvenit.
28 That thou givest unto them they gather; thou openest thine hand, they are satisfied with good.
Ce le dai, ele adună, tu îți deschizi mâna, ele se umplă cu bunătăți.
29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; thou takest away their breath they die, and return to their dust.
Îți ascunzi fața, ele se tulbură; le iei suflarea, ele mor și se întorc în țărâna lor.
30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created; and thou renewest the face of the ground.
Trimiți duhul tău, ele sunt create și înnoiești fața pământului.
31 Let the glory of the LORD endure for ever; let the LORD rejoice in his works:
Gloria DOMNULUI va dăinui pentru totdeauna, DOMNUL se va bucura în lucrările lui.
32 Who looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; he toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
El se uită pe pământ și acesta tremură, atinge dealurile și ele fumegă.
33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.
Voi cânta DOMNULUI cât timp trăiesc, voi cânta laudă Dumnezeului meu cât timp voi fi.
34 Let my meditation be sweet unto him: I will rejoice in the LORD.
Meditația mea despre el va fi dulce, mă voi veseli în DOMNUL.
35 Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
Să fie mistuiți păcătoșii de pe pământ și să nu mai fie cei stricați. Binecuvântează pe DOMNUL, suflete al meu. Lăudați pe DOMNUL.
