< Proverbs 7 >

1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.
Mwana na ngai, batela mibeko na ngai mpe bomba yango malamu kati na motema na yo.
2 Keep my commandments and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
Batela mateya na ngai malamu, mpe okozala na bomoi; batela mibeko na ngai lokola mbuma ya liso na yo.
3 Bind them upon thy fingers; write them upon the table of thine heart.
Lata yango na loboko na yo lokola lopete, koma yango na etando ya motema na yo.
4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding [thy] kinswoman:
Loba na Bwanya: « Ozali ndeko na ngai ya mwasi, » mpe bengaka Mayele « Moninga na ngai; »
5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
mpo ete ekoka kobatela yo liboso ya mwasi ya ndumba mpe ekoka kokebisa yo liboso ya mwasi oyo alobaka maloba ya elengi, nzokande ezali ya lokuta.
6 For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;
Mokolo moko, nazalaki kotala wuta na madusu ya lininisa ya ndako na ngai,
7 And I beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
namonaki kati na molongo ya bato oyo bazangi mayele, kati na bilenge mibali, elenge mobali moko oyo azangi penza mayele.
8 Passing through the street near her corner, and he went the way to her house;
Azalaki koleka na balabala, pene ya esika oyo mwasi wana ya ndumba avandaka, mpe akotaki na nzela oyo ekenda kino na ndako ya mwasi ya ndumba.
9 In the twilight, in the evening of the day, in the blackness of night and the darkness.
Ezalaki na pokwa, tango moyi elimwaki, mpe molili ya butu ekomaki koya.
10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and wily of heart.
Mpe tala, mwasi yango ya ndumba ayaki kokutana na elenge mobali, alataki penza lokola mwasi ya ndumba, mpe motema na ye etonda na mayele mabe;
11 She is clamorous, and wilful; her feet abide not in her house:
azalaki mwasi ya makelele makasi mpe ya mobulu, makolo na ye evandaka na ndako te,
12 Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, and lieth in wait at every corner.
atalaka-talaka na bisika nyonso, tango mosusu na libanda, tango mosusu na bisika oyo bato ebele bakutanaka.
13 So she caught him, and kissed him, [and] with an impudent face she said unto him:
Mwasi yango ya ndumba asimbaki elenge mobali, ayambaki ye, alaliselaki ye miso mpe alobaki na ye:
14 Sacrifices of peace offerings are with me; this day have I paid my vows.
« Nazalaki na niongo ya mbeka ya kozongisa matondi epai na Yawe; mpe lelo, nasili kokokisa ndayi na ngai.
15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
Yango wana, nabimaki mpo na kokutana na yo; nazalaki koluka yo, mpe, tala, namoni yo.
16 I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, with striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.
Natandi mbeto na ngai na babulangeti ya langi ya ndenge na ndenge, basala na basinga ya lino oyo ewutaka na Ejipito.
17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
Na mbeto na ngai, nasopi malasi ya mire, ya aloe mpe ya sinamoni.
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; let us solace ourselves with loves.
Yaka tolangwa bolingo kino na tongo, tomipesa mobimba na elengi ya bolingo,
19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:
pamba te mobali na ngai azali na ye na ndako te, akendeki mobembo na mokili ya mosika,
20 He hath taken a bag of money with him; he will come home at the full moon.
akendeki na saki ya mbongo na maboko, akozonga na ndako te kino na tango oyo sanza engengaka. »
21 With her much fair speech she causeth him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forceth him away.
Na nzela ya maloba na ye ya sukali, alongaki kokosa ye; na nzela ya maloba na ye ya elengi, amemaki ye.
22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as fetters to the correction of the fool;
Elenge mobali alandaki ye mbala moko, lokola ngombe oyo bazali komema na bisika oyo babomaka banyama, lokola moto ya liboma oyo bakangi mpo na kobeta ye
23 Till an arrow strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.
kino tango likonga ekotobola ye motema, lokola ndeke oyo ekeyi mbangu na motambo na kozanga koyeba ete ekeyi kokufa.
24 Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, and attend to the words of my mouth.
Sik’oyo, mwana na ngai ya mobali, yoka ngai, pesa ngai matoyi na yo mpo na koyoka maloba ya monoko na ngai!
25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
Tika ete mwasi ya boye akumba te motema na yo! Kopengwa te na banzela na ye,
26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, all her slain are a mighty host.
pamba te asili kokweyisa mpe kozokisa bato ebele, mpe asili kobomisa bingambe mibali.
27 Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death. (Sheol h7585)
Ndako na ye ezali penza nzela ya mboka ya bakufi, oyo ememaka kino na bandako ya kufa. (Sheol h7585)
