Numbers 10

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them: and thou shalt use them for the calling of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps.

೨“ನೀನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ತಗಡಿನಿಂದ ಎರಡು ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜನಸಮೂಹದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮತ್ತು ದಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು.

3 And when they shall blow with them, all the congregation shall gather themselves unto thee at the door of the tent of meeting.

೩ನೀನು ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದಿಸುವಾಗ ಜನಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಬರಬೇಕು.

4 And if they blow but with one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

೪ನೀನು ಒಂದನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಊದಿಸುವಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕುಲಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಬರಬೇಕು.

5 And when ye blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall take their journey.

೫ನೀನು ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಿ ಊದಿಸುವಾಗ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ದಂಡುಗಳು ಹೊರಡಬೇಕು.

6 And when ye blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

೬ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಿ ಊದಿಸುವಾಗ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ದಂಡುಗಳು ಹೊರಡಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡಬೇಕಾದಾಗ ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಿಯೇ ಊದಿಸಬೇಕು.

7 But when the assembly is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

೭ಜನಸಮೂಹದವರು ಕೂಡಿಬರಬೇಕಾದಾಗ ಸಾಧಾರಣವಾಗಿ ಊದಿಸಬೇಕೇ ಹೊರತು ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಿ ಊದಿಸಬಾರದು.

8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for a statute for ever throughout your generations.

೮“ಆರೋನನ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರೇ ಆ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದಬೇಕು. ಇದು ನಿಮಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿರಲಿ.

9 And when ye go to war in your land against the adversary that oppresseth you, then ye shall sound an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

೯ನೀವು ಸ್ವದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಉಪದ್ರವಪಡಿಸುವ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ಆ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಿ ಊದಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.

10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

೧೦ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಉತ್ಸವ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯು, ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯು, ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವಾಗ ಆ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವುದು, ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು.”

11 And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.

೧೧ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಮೇಘವು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎದ್ದಿತು.

12 And the children of Israel set forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran.

೧೨ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮುಂದೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿದರು. ತರುವಾಯ ಆ ಮೇಘವು ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿತು.

13 And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

೧೩ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ.

14 And in the first [place] the standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

೧೪ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲದ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು ಸೈನ್ಯಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅಮ್ಮೀನಾದಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ನಹಶೋನನು.

15 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.

೧೫ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಚೂವಾರನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೆತನೇಲನು.

16 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.

೧೬ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಹೇಲೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಯಾಬನು.

17 And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bare the tabernacle, set forward.

೧೭ತರುವಾಯ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಇಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಮೆರಾರೀಯರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟರು.

18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.

೧೮ಆಮೇಲೆ ರೂಬೇನ್ ಕುಲದ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು ಸೈನ್ಯಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಶೆದೇಯೂರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಚೂರನು.

19 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

೧೯ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಚೂರೀಷದ್ದೈಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಲುಮೀಯೇಲನು.

20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

೨೦ಗಾದ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ದೆಗೂವೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಸಾಫನು.

21 And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and [the other] did set up the tabernacle against they came.

೨೧ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೆಹಾತ್ಯರು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟರು. ಅವರು ಬರುವಷ್ಟರೊಳಗೆ ಉಳಿದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

22 And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.

೨೨ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಕುಲದ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು ಸೈನ್ಯಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅಮ್ಮೀಹೂದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಷಾಮನು.

23 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

೨೩ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಪೆದಾಚೂರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗಮ್ಲೀಯೇಲನು.

24 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.

೨೪ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಗಿದ್ಯೋನಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀದಾನನು.

25 And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan, which was the rearward of all the camps, set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

೨೫ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಂಡುಗಳ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು ಸೈನ್ಯಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟರು. ಅವರ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅಮ್ಮೀಷದ್ದೈಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಗೆಜೆರನು.

26 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ochran.

೨೬ಆಶೇರ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಒಕ್ರಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪಗೀಯೇಲನು.

27 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.

೨೭ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇನಾನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಏನಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀರನು.

28 Thus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their hosts; and they set forward.

೨೮ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಸೈನ್ಯಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿದರು.

29 And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.

೨೯ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮಾವನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯನಾದ ರೆಗೂವೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೋಬಾಬನಿಗೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಒಳಿತನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಾನೇ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾ; ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ನಿನಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

30 And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.

೩೦ಆದರೆ ಹೋಬಾಬನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

31 And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be to us instead of eyes.

೩೧ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಡವೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನಮಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

32 And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what good soever the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.

೩೨ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾವು ನಿನಗೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆವು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

33 And they set forward from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey; and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them three days’ journey, to seek out a resting place for them.

೩೩ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮೂರು ದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ಹೋದರು. ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಆ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳು ಅವರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

34 And the cloud of the LORD was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.

೩೪ಅವರು ಪಾಳೆಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ಹಗಲು ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮೇಘವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, O LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.

೩೫ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯು ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ಮೋಶೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಎದ್ದು ಹೊರಡೋಣವಾಗಲಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಚದರಿಹೋಗಲಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಬೆನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನು.

36 And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.

೩೬ಅದು ನಿಂತಾಗ ಅವನು, “ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಳಿ ಆಗಮಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನು.
