< Micah 7 >

1 Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat; my soul desireth the firstripe fig.
Baba nam! Elabena mele ko abe ame aɖe si le kutsetse dim vevie le ati dzi le esi nuŋeɣi nu va yi vɔ la ene. Elabena nyemekpɔ kutsetse ɖiɖi aɖeke agbe, aɖu, atsɔ atsi nye dɔwuame nu o.
2 The godly man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
Alea kee ame nyuiwo hã vɔ le anyigba la dzi. Mate ŋu akpɔ ame ɖɔʋu ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ hã o. Ame sia ame le klalo be yeakɔ ʋu ɖi eye ame sia ame ɖo ɖɔ ɖi na nɔvia.
3 Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge [is ready] for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the mischief of his soul: thus they weave it together.
Woƒe asi eveawo bi ɖe nu vɔ̃ɖi wɔwɔ me. Dziɖula xɔa zãnu eye ʋɔnudrɔ̃la tsoa afia na ame si na zãnue. Kesinɔtɔwo ɖoa nu si dim wole; ale ame siawo blaa nu ɖekae hewɔna.
4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is [worse] than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen, even thy visitation, is come; now shall be their perplexity.
Ame nyuitɔ si nàkpɔ le wo dome la le ko abe ŋu si tɔa ame ene eye woƒe nuteƒewɔla vɔ̃ɖi wu ŋukpɔtɔtɔ. Ke miaƒe gbetakpɔlawo ƒe ŋkeke la ɖo vɔ. Gbe si gbe Mawu ava asrã mi kpɔ la tu aƒe. Azɔ ɣeyiɣi si tɔtɔ aɖo wo dome la ɖo vɔ.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
Mègaxɔ wò aƒelika dzi se o. Mègaɖo dzi ɖe xɔ̃wò ŋu o. Nya ale si nàƒo nu le nyɔnu si le akɔwò nu la gɔ̃ hã gbɔ
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
elabena viŋutsu made bubu fofoa ŋu o; vinyɔnu adze aglã ɖe dadaa ŋu eye lɔ̃xoyɔvi atso ɖe lɔ̃xoa ŋu. Ame ƒe futɔwo atso eya ŋutɔ ƒe aƒe me.
7 But as for me, I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
Ke nye la, mele ŋudzɔ le mɔ kpɔm na Yehowa. Mele lalam na Mawu, nye Ɖela. Ɛ̃, nye Mawu aɖo tom hã.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
O nye futɔ, dzi megadzɔ wò le nye anyidzedze ŋuti o; togbɔ be medze anyi hã la, magafɔ ɖe tsitre! Ne menɔ anyi ɖe viviti tsiɖitsiɖi me hã, Yehowa ŋutɔ anye nye kekeli.
9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him; until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, [and] I shall behold his righteousness.
Esi meda vo ɖe Yehowa ŋuti ta la mabɔbɔ ɖe eƒe dɔmedzoe te va se ɖe esime wòadrɔ̃ nye nya eye wòatso afia nam, ekema akplɔm va kekeli me eye makpɔ eƒe dzɔdzɔenyenye.
10 Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her; which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? Mine eyes shall behold her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
Ekema nye futɔ akpɔe eye ŋu akpee. Eya ame si bia be, “Afi ka Yehowa wò Mawu la le?” Azɔ mekpɔ eƒe anyidzedze kple nye ŋkuwo kple ale si woanyamae abe ba ene.
11 A day for building thy walls! in that day shall the decree be far removed.
Ŋkeke si dzi woatu wò duwo la ava eye ŋkeke na wò liƒowo ƒe keke ɖe edzi gbɔna.
12 In that day shall they come unto thee, from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, and from Egypt even to the River, and from sea to sea, and [from] mountain to mountain.
Ɣe ma ɣi la, amewo atso Asiria kple Egipte ƒe duwo me ava eye ɖewo atso Egipte va se ɖe keke Frat tɔsisi la nu. Gawu la, amewo atso atsiaƒu nu yi atsiaƒu nu, tso to dzi yi to dzi, ava kpɔ wò ɖa.
13 Yet shall the land be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.
Ke anyigba aɖi gbɔlo le edzinɔlawo ƒe nu vɔ̃wo ta.
14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily, in the forest in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
O Yehowa, va kplɔ wò dukɔ kple wò atizɔti, alẽha si nye wò domenyinu; alẽha si nɔ eɖokui si le avewo me kple lãnyiƒe damawo dzi. Na woaɖu gbe damawo le Basan kple Gilead abe tsã ene.
15 As in the days of thy coming forth out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvelous things.
“Abe ale si wònɔ le ŋkeke siwo me nèdo go tso Egipte ene la, mafia wo nye nukunuwo.”
16 The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
Dukɔwo akpɔe eye ŋukpe alé wo elabena woƒe ŋusẽwo katã nu ayi. Woatsɔ woƒe asiwo aɖo nu eye woƒe towo atsi.
17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their close places: they shall come with fear unto the LORD our God, and shall be afraid because of thee.
Woaɖu ʋuʋudedi abe da kple nu gbagbe siwo tana le anyigba la ene. Woado le woƒe dowo me kple vɔvɔ̃, atrɔ ɖe Yehowa, míaƒe Mawu la ŋu eye woavɔ̃ miawo hã.
18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
Afi ka woagakpɔ Mawu bubu le wòanɔ abe wò si tsɔa wò domenyinu mamlɛawo ƒe nu vɔ̃wo kple dzidadawo kena la ene? Mèdoa dɔmedzoe ɖikaa o, ke boŋ èkpɔa dzidzɔ le amenuveve ŋuti.
19 He will turn again and have compassion upon us; he will tread our iniquities under foot: and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Àgakpɔ nublanui na mí, atiti afɔ ɖe míaƒe nu vɔ̃wo dzi eye àtsɔ míaƒe dzidadawo katã aƒu gbe ɖe atsiaƒu ƒe gogloƒe ke!
20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, [and] the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
Àwɔ nuteƒe na Yakob, eye àkpɔ nublanui na Abraham abe ale si nèka atam na mía fofowo tso blema ke ene.
