Micah 6
1 Hear ye now what the LORD saith: Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, “ನೀನೆದ್ದು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಲಿ
2 Hear, O ye mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye enduring foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
೨ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಆತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.”
3 O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
೩“ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೇನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು? ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾವ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆನು? ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಹೇಳು.
4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
೪ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಪಾರುಮಾಡಿ ದಾಸತ್ವದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದೆನು. ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆನು.
5 O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; [remember] from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteous acts of the LORD.
೫ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ, ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬಾಲಾಕನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಯೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಿಳಾಮನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಧರ್ಮಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಗೆ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ಶಿಟ್ಟೀಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲನ್ನು ಸೇರುವ ತನಕ ನಡೆದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
6 Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
೬ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯೊಡನೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ? ಯಾವುದನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ? ಹೋಮದ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಕರುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೋ?
7 will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
೭ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಲಕ್ಷೋಪಲಕ್ಷ ತೈಲ ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾನೆಯೇ? ನನ್ನ ದ್ರೋಹದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲೋ? ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮದ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲೋ?
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
೮ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಇಂಥದ್ದೇ ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲವೇ. ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವುದು, ಕರುಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತನಾಗಿರುವುದು, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಇಷ್ಟನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೇನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು?
9 The voice of the LORD crieth unto the city, and [the man of] wisdom will see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
೯ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಡುವುದು ಸುಜ್ಞಾನವೇ, ಎಂದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡುವ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ. ಬೀಸಿ ಬರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ದಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ. ಅದನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದವನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
10 Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
೧೦ದುಷ್ಟನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ನಿಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಕಿರಿಯಳತೆ ಇವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕುತ್ತವೆಯೋ?
11 Shall I be pure with wicked balances, and with a bag of deceitful weights?
೧೧ಕಳ್ಳ ತಕ್ಕಡಿಯೂ ಹಾಗು ಮೋಸದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಚೀಲವೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಲೋ?
12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
೧೨ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಧನಿಕರು ತುಂಬಾ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಗಳು. ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರರು. ಅವರ ಬಾಯನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಮೋಸಕರ.
13 Therefore I also have smitten thee with a grievous wound; I have made thee desolate because of thy sins.
೧೩ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಕ್ರೂರವಾದ ಪೆಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವೆನು.
14 Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy humiliation shall be in the midst of thee: and thou shalt remove, but shalt not carry away safe; and that which thou carriest away will I give up to the sword.
೧೪ನೀನು ತಿಂದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗದು. ಹಸಿವೆಯು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರುವುದು. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಾರುಮಾಡಲಾರಿ. ಪಾರುಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
15 Thou shalt sow, but shalt not reap: thou shalt tread the olives, but shalt not anoint thee with oil; and the vintage, but shalt not drink the wine.
೧೫ನೀನು ಬಿತ್ತಿದರೂ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಕಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಜಜ್ಜಿದರೂ ಮೈಗೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತುಳಿದರೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels: that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing; and ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
೧೬ಒಮ್ರಿ ರಾಜನ ನಿಯಮಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆತನದ ಸಕಲ ಆಚಾರಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿವೆ. ನಿನ್ನವರು ಅವರ ದುರ್ನೀತಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೆರಗಿಗೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಿರಿ.”
