Micah 3
1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, ye heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: is it not for you to know judgment?
Ja minä sanoin: kuulkaat siis te Jakobin päämiehet, ja te Israelin huoneen esimiehet: eikö teidän pitäisi oikeutta tietämän?
2 who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
Mutta te vihaatte hyvää ja rakastatte pahaa; te nyljette heiltä heidän nahkansa, ja kalvatte lihan heidän luistansa;
3 who also eat the flesh of my people; and they flay their skin from off them, and break their bones: yea, they chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
Ja syötte minun kansani lihan, ja kuin te olette heiltä nahan nylkeneet, niin te särjette heidän luunsa, ja hakkaatte rikki ne niinkuin pataan, ja niinkuin lihan kattilaan.
4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not answer them: yea, he will hide his face from them at that time, according as they have wrought evil in their doings.
Sentähden kuin te Herran tykö huudatte, niin ei hän teitä kuule, vaan peittää silloin teiltä kasvonsa, niinkuin te olette teidän pahalla menollanne ansainneet.
5 Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people to err; that bite with their teeth and cry, Peace; and whoso putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him:
Näin sanoo Herra niistä prophetaista, jotka minun kansaani viettelevät: he saarnaavat rauhaa, kuin heille syötävää annetaan; mutta kuin ei heidän suuhunsa mitää anneta, saarnaavat he sodan tulevan.
6 Therefore it shall be night unto you, that ye shall have no vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be black over them.
Sentähden pitää teidän näkynne yöksi, ja teidän aavistuksenne pimeydeksi tuleman. Auringon pitää laskeman niiden prophetain ylitse, ja päivän pitää pimenemän heidän päältänsä.
7 And the seers shall be ashamed, and the diviners confounded; yea, they shall all cover their lips: for there is no answer of God.
Ja näkiäin pitää häpiään tuleman, ja ennustajain häpeemän, ja kaikkein täytyy suunsa peittää, ettei siellä ole Jumalan sanaa.
8 But I truly am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
Mutta minä olen täynnä Herran hengen voimaa, ja oikeutta ja väkevyyttä, että minä tohdin ilmoittaa Jakobille ylitsekäymisensä ja Israelille syntinsä.
9 Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
Niin kuulkaat siis tätä, te Jakobin huoneen päämiehet, ja te Israelin huoneen esimiehet: te, jotka oikeutta kauhistutte, ja käännätte toisin kaikki, mikä toimellinen on;
10 They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
Te jotka Zionin verellä rakennatte, ja Jerusalemin vääryydellä.
11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD in the midst of us? no evil shall come upon us.
Hänen päämiehensä tuomitsevat lahjain tähden, hänen pappinsa opettavat palkan tähden, ja heidän prophetansa aavistavat rahan tähden; luottavat kuitenkin Herraan, ja sanovat: eikö Herra ole meidän seassamme? Ei taida onnettomuus meitä käsittää.
12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.
Sentähden pitää Zion kynnettämän teidän tähtenne niinkuin pelto, ja Jerusalem pitää tuleman kiviraunioksi, ja templin vuori metsän kukkulaksi.
