Matthew 7
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ବିଚାରିତ ନ ହେବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ବିଚାର କର ନାହିଁ।
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.
କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ବିଚାରରେ ବିଚାର କର, ସେହି ବିଚାରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଚାରିତ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ମାପରେ ମାପ କର, ସେହି ମାପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମପାଯିବ।
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
ଆଉ କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭାଇର ଆଖିରେ ଥିବା କୁଟାଟିକକ ଦେଖୁଅଛ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିଜ ଆଖିରେ ଯେଉଁ କଡ଼ିକାଠ ଅଛି, ତାହା ଭାବି ଦେଖୁ ନାହଁ?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me cast out the mote out of thine eye; and lo, the beam is in thine own eye?
ଅଥବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିପରି ଆପଣା ଭାଇ କି କହିବ, ଆସ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଖିରୁ କୁଟାଟିକକ ବାହାର କରିଦିଏ? ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଖିରେ କଡ଼ିକାଠ ଅଛି!
5 Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
ରେ କପଟୀ, ଆଗେ ଆପଣା ଆଖିରୁ କଡ଼ିକାଠ ବାହାର କରିପକାଅ, ତାହା ପରେ ନିଜ ଭାଇର ଆଖିରୁ କୁଟାଟିକକ ବାହାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ଦେଖି ପାରିବ।
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest haply they trample them under their feet, and turn and rend you.
ପବିତ୍ର ପଦାର୍ଥ କୁକୁରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମୁକ୍ତା ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ପକାଅ ନାହିଁ, କାଳେ ସେମାନେ ସେହିସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ଦଳି ଦେବେ ଓ ବୁଲିପଡ଼ି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଦେବେ।
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
ମାଗ, ସେଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯିବ; ଖୋଜ, ସେଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସନ୍ଧାନ ପାଇବ; ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ଆଘାତ କର, ସେଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଫିଟାଇ ଦିଆଯିବ।
8 for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
କାରଣ ଯେ କେହି ମାଗେ, ସେ ପାଏ; ଯେ ଖୋଜେ, ସେ ସନ୍ଧାନ ପାଏ; ଆଉ, ଯେ ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ଆଘାତ କରେ, ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଫିଟାଇ ଦିଆଯିବ।
9 Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone;
କିମ୍ବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏପରି କେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଅଛି, ଯେ ନିଜ ପୁଅ ରୁଟି ମାଗିଲେ ତାହାକୁ ପଥର ଦେବ,
10 or if he shall ask for a fish, will give him a serpent?
କିଅବା ମାଛ ମାଗିଲେ ତାହାକୁ ସର୍ପ ଦେବ?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯେବେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦାନ ଦେଇ ଜାଣ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତା ତାହାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ମାଗିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କେତେ ଅଧିକ ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଉତ୍ତମ ବିଷୟ ନ ଦେବେ!
12 All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them: for this is the law and the prophets.
ଅତଏବ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହାସବୁ କରନ୍ତୁ ବୋଲି ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେହିସବୁ କର, କାରଣ ଏହା ହିଁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଓ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରର ସାର।
13 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many be they that enter in thereby.
ସଂକୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦ୍ୱାର ଦେଇ ପ୍ରବେଶ କର, କାରଣ ସର୍ବନାଶକୁ ନେଇଯିବା ଦ୍ୱାର ଓସାର ଓ ପଥ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ, ପୁଣି, ତାହା ଦେଇ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ଲୋକେ ଅନେକ।
14 For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few be they that find it.
ଆଉ ଜୀବନକୁ ନେଇଯିବା ଦ୍ୱାର ସଂକୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ପଥ ଦୁର୍ଗମ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ସନ୍ଧାନ ପାଇବା ଲୋକେ ଅଳ୍ପ।
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.
ଭଣ୍ଡ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସାବଧାନ ହୋଇଥାଅ; ସେମାନେ ମେଣ୍ଢାବେଶରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ସେମାନେ ହିଂସକ ବାଘ!
16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do [men] gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଫଳ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନିବ। ଲୋକମାନେ କି କଣ୍ଟାଗଛରୁ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ କିମ୍ବା କାନକୋଳି ଗଛରୁ ଡିମ୍ବିରି ଫଳ ତୋଳନ୍ତି?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
ସେହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ସବୁ ଭଲ ଗଛ ଭଲ ଫଳ ଫଳେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମନ୍ଦ ଗଛ ମନ୍ଦ ଫଳ ଫଳେ।
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
ଭଲ ଗଛ ମନ୍ଦ ଫଳ ଫଳି ନ ପାରେ, କିଅବା ମନ୍ଦ ଗଛ ଭଲ ଫଳ ଫଳି ନ ପାରେ।
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
ଯେକୌଣସି ଗଛ ଭଲ ଫଳ ନ ଫଳେ, ତାହା ହଣାଯାଇ ନିଆଁରେ ପକାଯାଏ।
20 Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
ଅତଏବ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଫଳ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନିବ।
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
ମୋତେ ‘ପ୍ରଭୁ, ପ୍ରଭୁ’ ବୋଲି ଡାକନ୍ତି, ଏପରି ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ମୋହର ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତାଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛା ସାଧନ କରେ, ସେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ।
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out devils, and by thy name do many mighty works?
ସେ ଦିନ ଅନେକେ ମୋତେ କହିବେ, ‘ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ଭାବବାଣୀ କହିଲୁ ନାହିଁ?’ ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ କି ଭୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛଡ଼ାଇଲୁ ନାହିଁ? ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ କି ଅନେକ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କଲୁ ନାହିଁ?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ରୂପେ କହିବି, ‘ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କେବେ ହେଁ ଜାଣି ନାହିଁ। ହେ ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀମାନେ ମୋ ପାଖରୁ ଦୂର ହୁଅ।’
24 Every one therefore which heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, which built his house upon the rock:
ଏଣୁ ଯେ କେହି ମୋହର ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ଶୁଣେ ଓ ପାଳନ କରେ, ସେ ପଥର ଉପରେ ଘର ତିଆରି କରିବା ଜଣେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ଲୋକ ସଦୃଶ ହେବ।
25 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.
ବର୍ଷା ହେଲା, ବଢ଼ି ଆସିଲା ପୁଣି, ବତାସ ବହିଲା ଓ ସେହି ଘରକୁ ଧକ୍କା ମାରିଲା, ଆଉ ତାହା ପଡ଼ିଲା ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ପଥର ଉପରେ ତାହାର ମୂଳଦୁଆ ଥିଲା।
26 And every one that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
ଆଉ ଯେ କେହି ମୋହର ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ଶୁଣି ପାଳନ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ବାଲି ଉପରେ ଘର ତିଆରି କରିବା ଜଣେ ମୂର୍ଖ ଲୋକ ଭଳି ହେବ।
27 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.
ବର୍ଷା ହେଲା, ବଢ଼ି ଆସିଲା ପୁଣି, ବତାସ ବହିଲା ଓ ସେହି ଘରକୁ ଧକ୍କା ମାରିଲା, ଆଉ ତାହା ପଡ଼ିଗଲା, ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ପତନ ଭୟଙ୍କର ହେଲା।”
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus ended these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching:
ଯୀଶୁ ଏହିସବୁ କଥା ଶେଷ କରନ୍ତେ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାରେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟାନ୍ୱିତ ହେଲେ,
29 for he taught them as [one] having authority, and not as their scribes.
କାରଣ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଶିକ୍ଷା ନ ଦେଇ ଅଧିକାରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଉଥିଲେ।
