Matthew 13
1 On that day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
E Jesus, tendo saido da casa n'aquelle dia, estava assentado junto ao mar;
2 And there were gathered unto him great multitudes, so that he entered into a boat, and sat; and all the multitude stood on the beach.
E ajuntou-se muita gente ao pé d'elle, de sorte que, entrando n'um barco, se assentou; e toda a multidão estava em pé na praia.
3 And he spake to them many things in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went forth to sow;
E fallou-lhe de muitas coisas por parabolas, dizendo: Eis que o semeador saiu a semear.
4 and as he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side, and the birds came and devoured them:
E, quando semeava, uma parte da semente caiu ao pé do caminho, e vieram as aves, e comeram-n'a;
5 and others fell upon the rocky places, where they had not much earth: and straightway they sprang up, because they had no deepness of earth:
E outra parte caiu em pedregaes, onde não havia terra bastante, e logo nasceu, porque não tinha terra funda;
6 and when the sun was risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
Mas, vindo o sol, queimou-se, e seccou-se, porque não tinha raiz.
7 And others fell upon the thorns; and the thorns grew up, and choked them:
E outra caiu em espinhos, e os espinhos cresceram, e suffocaram-n'a.
8 and others fell upon the good ground, and yielded fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
E outra caiu em boa terra, e deu fructo: um grão produziu cem, outro sessenta e outro trinta.
9 He that hath ears, let him hear.
Quem tem ouvidos para ouvir, oiça.
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
E, acercando-se d'elle os discipulos, disseram-lhe: Porque lhes fallas por parabolas?
11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Elle, respondendo, disse-lhes: Porque a vós é dado conhecer os mysterios do reino dos céus, mas a elles não é dado
12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.
Porque áquelle que tem, se dará, e terá em abundancia; mas áquelle que não tem, até aquillo que tem lhe será tirado
13 Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Por isso lhes fallo por parabolas; porque elles, vendo, não vêem; e, ouvindo, não ouvem nem comprehendem.
14 And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:
E n'elles se cumpre a prophecia d'Isaias, que diz: Ouvindo, ouvireis, mas não comprehendereis, e, vendo, vereis, mas não percebereis.
15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.
Porque o coração d'este povo está endurecido, e ouviram de mau grado com seus ouvidos, e fecharam seus olhos; para que não vejam com os olhos, e oiçam com os ouvidos, e comprehendam com o coração, e se convertam, e eu os cure.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.
Mas bemaventurados os vossos olhos, porque vêem, e os vossos ouvidos, porque ouvem.
17 For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.
Porque em verdade vos digo que muitos prophetas e justos desejaram vêr o que vós vedes, e não o viram; e ouvir o que vós ouvis e não o ouviram,
18 Hear then ye the parable of the sower.
Escutae vós pois a parabola do semeador.
19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, [then] cometh the evil [one], and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.
Ouvindo alguem a palavra do reino, e não a entendendo, vem o maligno, e arrebata o que foi semeado no seu coração; este é o que foi semeado ao pé do caminho;
20 And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightway with joy receiveth it;
Porém o que foi semeado em pedregaes é o que ouve a palavra, e logo a recebe com alegria;
21 yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth.
Mas não tem raiz em si mesmo, antes é temporão; e, chegada a angustia e a perseguição por causa da palavra, logo se offende;
22 And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
E o que foi semeado em espinhos é o que ouve a palavra, mas os cuidados d'este mundo, e a seducção das riquezas, suffocam a palavra, e fica infructifera; (aiōn g165)
23 And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Mas o que foi semeado em boa terra é o que ouve e comprehende a palavra; e dá fructo, e um produz cem, outro sessenta, e outro trinta.
24 Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field:
Propoz-lhes outra parabola, dizendo: O reino dos céus é similhante ao homem que semeia boa semente no seu campo;
25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares also among the wheat, and went away.
Mas, dormindo os homens, veiu o seu inimigo, e semeou joio no meio do trigo, e retirou-se.
26 But when the blade sprang up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
E, quando a herva cresceu e fructificou, appareceu tambem o joio.
27 And the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it tares?
E os servos do pae de familia, indo ter com elle, disseram-lhe: Senhor, não semeaste tu no teu campo boa semente? Porque tem então joio?
28 And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants say unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
E elle lhes disse: Um homem inimigo é que fez isso. E os servos lhe disseram: Queres pois que vamos colhel-o?
29 But he saith, Nay; lest haply while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them.
Porém elle lhes disse: Não; para que ao colher o joio não arranqueis tambem o trigo com elle.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Deixae crescer ambos juntos até á ceifa; e, por occasião da ceifa, direi aos ceifeiros: Colhei primeiro o joio, e atae-o em molhos para o queimar; mas o trigo ajuntae-o no meu celleiro.
31 Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Outra parabola lhes propoz, dizendo: O reino dos céus é similhante ao grão de mostarda que o homem, pegando d'elle, semeou no seu campo;
32 which indeed is less than all seeds; but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and lodge in the branches thereof.
O qual é realmente a mais pequena de todas as sementes; mas, crescendo, é a maior das plantas, e faz-se uma arvore, de sorte que veem as aves do céu, e se aninham nos seus ramos.
33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.
Outra parabola lhes disse: O reino dos céus é similhante ao fermento, que uma mulher, pegando d'elle, introduz em tres medidas de farinha, até que tudo esteja levedado.
34 All these things spake Jesus in parables unto the multitudes; and without a parable spake he nothing unto them:
Tudo isto disse Jesus por parabolas á multidão, e não lhes fallava sem parabolas;
35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.
Para que se cumprisse o que fôra dito pelo propheta, que disse: Abrirei em parabolas a minha bocca; publicarei coisas occultas desde a fundação do mundo.
36 Then he left the multitudes, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Explain unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Então Jesus, despedindo a multidão, foi para casa. E chegaram ao pé d'elle os seus discipulos, dizendo: Explica-nos a parabola do joio do campo.
37 And he answered and said, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
E elle, respondendo, disse-lhes: O que semeia a boa semente, é o Filho do homem;
38 and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil [one];
O campo é o mundo; e a boa semente são os filhos do reino; e o joio são os filhos do maligno;
39 and the enemy that sowed them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels. (aiōn g165)
O inimigo, que o semeou, é o diabo; e a ceifa é o fim do mundo; e os ceifeiros são os anjos. (aiōn g165)
40 As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire; so shall it be in the end of the world. (aiōn g165)
Como pois o joio é colhido e queimado no fogo, assim será na consummação d'este mundo. (aiōn g165)
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and them that do iniquity,
Mandará o Filho do homem os seus anjos, e elles colherão do seu reino todos os escandalos, e os que commettem iniquidade.
42 and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
E lançal-os-hão na fornalha de fogo; ali haverá pranto e ranger de dentes.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.
Então os justos resplandecerão como o sol, no reino de seu Pae. Quem tem ouvidos para ouvir, oiça.
44 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in the field; which a man found, and hid; and in his joy he goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Tambem o reino dos céus é similhante a um thesouro escondido n'um campo, que um homem achou e escondeu; e, pelo gozo d'elle, vae, vende tudo quanto tem, e compra aquelle campo.
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a merchant seeking goodly pearls:
Outrosim o reino dos céus é similhante ao homem, negociante, que busca boas perolas;
46 and having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
E, encontrando uma perola de grande valor, foi, vendeu tudo quanto tinha, e comprou-a.
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
Egualmente o reino dos céus é similhante a uma rede lançada ao mar, e que prende toda a qualidade de peixes.
48 which, when it was filled, they drew up on the beach; and they sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but the bad they cast away.
E, estando cheia, os pescadores a puxam para a praia; e, assentando-se, apanham para os cestos os bons; os ruins, porém, lançam fóra.
49 So shall it be in the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn g165)
Assim será na consummação dos seculos: virão os anjos, e separarão os maus d'entre os justos. (aiōn g165)
50 and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
E lançal-os-hão na fornalha de fogo: ali haverá pranto e ranger de dentes.
51 Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea.
E disse-lhes Jesus: Entendestes todas estas coisas? Disseram-lhe elles: Sim, Senhor.
52 And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
E elle disse-lhes: Por isso, todo o escriba instruido ácerca do reino dos céus é similhante a um pae de familia, que tira dos seus thesouros coisas novas e velhas.
53 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
E aconteceu que Jesus, concluindo estas parabolas, se retirou d'ali.
54 And coming into his own country he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
E, chegando á sua patria, ensinava-os na synagoga d'elles, de sorte que se maravilhavam, e diziam: D'onde veiu a este a sabedoria, e estas maravilhas?
55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joseph, and Simon, and Judas?
Não é este o filho do carpinteiro? e não se chama sua mãe Maria, e seus irmãos Thiago, e José, e Simão, e Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
E não estão entre nós todas as suas irmãs? D'onde lhe veiu pois tudo isto?
57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
E escandalizavam-se n'elle. Jesus, porém, lhes disse: Não ha propheta sem honra, senão na sua patria e na sua casa.
58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
E não fez ali muitas maravilhas, por causa da incredulidade d'elles.
