Mark 2
1 And when he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was noised that he was in the house.
ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆಂಬ ವಾರ್ತೆಯು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು.
2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room [for them], no, not even about the door: and he spake the word unto them.
ಜನರು ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಾಗಲಿ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
3 And they come, bringing unto him a man sick of the palsy, borne of four.
ಆಗ ಕೆಲವರು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಯನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ವರಿಂದ ಹೊರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay.
ಜನರ ಗುಂಪಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವನನ್ನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಯೇಸು ಇದ್ದ ಕಡೆ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲ್ಚಾವಣಿಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ತೆರೆದು, ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಯನ್ನು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಸಮೇತ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
5 And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.
ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಆ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಗೆ, “ಮಗನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲಾಗಿವೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರು,
7 Why doth this man thus speak? he blasphemeth: who can forgive sins but one, [even] God?
“ಈತನು ಏಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ? ಈತನು ದೇವದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ! ದೇವರೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಹೊರತು ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೇ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
8 And straightway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, saith unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
ಯೇಸು ಅವರು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಲೋಚಿಸುವುದೇಕೆ?
9 Whether is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
ಯಾವುದು ಸುಲಭ? ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಗೆ, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲಾಗಿವೆ,’ ಎನ್ನುವುದೋ ಅಥವಾ, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದೋ?
10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins (he saith to the sick of the palsy),
ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನಾದ ನನಗೆ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವುಂಟೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಗೆ,
11 I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.
“ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
12 And he arose, and straightway took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು, ತನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲರು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡು, “ಇಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಹಿಂದೆಂದೂ ಕಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
13 And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.
ಯೇಸು ಪುನಃ ಸರೋವರದ ತೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದರು.
14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the [son] of Alphaeus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಸುಂಕದ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ಅಲ್ಫಾಯನ ಮಗ ಲೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, “ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
15 And it came to pass, that he was sitting at meat in his house, and many publicans and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.
ಯೇಸು ಲೇವಿಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಸುಂಕದವರೂ ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಪಾಪಿಗಳೂ ಬಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು. ಬಹುಜನರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
16 And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and publicans, said unto his disciples, He eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners.
ಫರಿಸಾಯರಾದ ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರು ಪಾಪಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಂಕದವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೇಸು ಊಟಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, “ಈತನು ಸುಂಕದವರ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಏಕೆ ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ?” ಎಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
17 And when Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.
ಯೇಸು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಂತರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯನು ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯನು ಅವಶ್ಯ, ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನಲ್ಲ, ಪಾಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
18 And John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting: and they come and say unto him, Why do John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
ಯೋಹಾನನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಕೆಲವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, “ಯೋಹಾನನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಫರಿಸಾಯರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಏಕೆ ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
19 And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಮದುಮಗನು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ತನಕ ಮದುಮಗನ ಆಪ್ತರು ಹೇಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವರು? ಮದುಮಗನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವವರೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡಲಾಗದು.
20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day.
ಆದರೆ ಮದುಮಗನು ಅವರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಕಾಲ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವರು.
21 No man seweth a piece of undressed cloth on an old garment: else that which should fill it up taketh from it, the new from the old, and a worse rent is made.
“ಯಾರೂ ಹಳೆಯ ವಸ್ತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ತೇಪೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಚ್ಚಿದರೆ, ಆ ತೇಪೆಯು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಜಿ ಹರಕನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ದೊಡ್ಡದು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
22 And no man putteth new wine into old wineskins: else the wine will burst the skins, and the wine perisheth, and the skins: but [they put] new wine into fresh wineskins.
ಯಾರೂ ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಹಳೆಯ ಚರ್ಮದ ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತುಂಬಿ ಇಟ್ಟರೆ, ಚರ್ಮದ ಚೀಲಗಳು ಹರಿದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿಹೋಗಿ ಚರ್ಮದ ಚೀಲಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಚರ್ಮದ ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
23 And it came to pass, that he was going on the sabbath day through the cornfields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
ಒಂದು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಂದು ಯೇಸು ಪೈರಿನ ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ತೆನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
ಆಗ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡು, ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
25 And he said unto them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ದಾವೀದನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡಿಗರು ಹಸಿದಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ ಅವನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ನೀವು ಓದಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
26 How he entered into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which it is not lawful to eat save for the priests, and gave also to them that were with him?
ಅವನು ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅಬಿಯಾತರನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯಾಜಕರ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆಯವರು ತಿನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯಮ ಸಮ್ಮತವಲ್ಲದ ನೈವೇದ್ಯದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಿಂದು, ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡಿಗರಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು,” ಎಂದರು.
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನವು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
28 so that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನಾದ ನಾನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಕ್ಕೂ ಒಡೆಯನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
