Luke 13
1 Now there were some present at that very season which told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

2 And he answered and said unto them, Think ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they have suffered these things?
Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Mugye di sɛ saa Galileafo no yɛ nnebɔneyɛfo sen wɔn a aka no nyinaa nti na wokum wɔn no?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all in like manner perish.

4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, think ye that they were offenders above all the men that dwell in Jerusalem?

5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

6 And he spake this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit thereon, and found none.
Afei Yesu buu wɔn bɛ yi se, “Ɔbarima bi duaa borɔdɔma wɔ ne turo mu. Da bi ɔkɔɔ turo no mu hɔ sɛ ɔrekɔtew so aba no bi nanso wannya bi.
7 And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground?
Ɛno akyi, ɔfrɛɛ turo no sohwɛfo no ka kyerɛɛ no se, ‘Mfe abiɛsa ni, bere biara a mɛba sɛ merebɛtew borɔdɔma no bi no, minnya bi. Adɛn nti na ɛresɛe kwa yi? Twa kyene.’
8 And he answering saith unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
“Turo no sohwɛfo no srɛɛ no se, ‘Me wura, ma ensi hɔ afe yi nso na mingugu ase sumina nhwɛ
9 and if it bear fruit thenceforth, [well]; but if not, thou shalt cut it down.
sɛ ebia, ɛbɛsow aba bi ana, na sɛ antumi ansow a ɛno de metwa akyene.’”
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath day.
Homeda bi a Yesu rekyerɛkyerɛ wɔ hyiadan mu no,
11 And behold, a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years; and she was bowed together, and could in no wise lift herself up.
na ɔbea bi wɔ hɔ a honhommɔne mu ɔyare bi akyere no mfe dunwɔtwe ama ne mu akoa a ontumi nteɛ ne mu koraa.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her, and said to her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
Yesu huu no no, ɔfrɛɛ no fii nnipa no mu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Ɔbea, wo ho nyɛ wo den.”
13 And he laid his hands upon her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
Ɔde ne nsa guu ne so, na amono mu hɔ ara otumi teɛɛ ne mu. Na ɔbea no yii Onyankopɔn ayɛ.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue, being moved with indignation because Jesus had healed on the sabbath, answered and said to the multitude, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the day of the sabbath.
Hyiadan no so panyin a ohuu ɔbea no ayaresa no de abufuw kae se, “Nnansia na ɛsɛ sɛ mode yɛ adwuma a saa nna no mu na ɛsɛ sɛ moba ma wɔsa mo yare, na ɛnyɛ homeda.”
15 But the Lord answered him, and said, Ye hypocrites, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
Na Awurade buaa no se, “Nyaatwomfo! Mo mu hena na ɔnsan ne nantwi anaa nʼafurum na ɔnka no nkɔnom nsu homeda?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo, [these] eighteen years, to have been loosed from this bond on the day of the sabbath?
Adɛn nti na Abraham aseni yi a ɔbonsam afa no nnommum mfe dunwɔtwe ni no ɛnsɛ sɛ mesa no yare homeda?”
17 And as he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame: and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
Ɔkaa saa no, wɔn a na wɔne nʼadwene nhyia no nyinaa ani wui. Nnipa no nso a na wɔwɔ hyiadan no mu nyinaa ani gyee nʼanwonwade ahorow a ɔyɛe no nyinaa ho.
18 He said therefore, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I liken it?
Afei Yesu fii ase kyerɛkyerɛɛ wɔn Onyankopɔn ahenni no ho asɛm, na obisaa wɔn se, “Onyankopɔn ahenni no te dɛn? Na dɛn na memfa nto ho nkyerɛkyerɛ ase?
19 It is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree; and the birds of the heaven lodged in the branches thereof.
Onyankopɔn ahenni no te sɛ onyaa aba ketewa bi a obi duaa wɔ nʼafuw mu na enyin yɛɛ dutan kɛse maa nnomaa kɔnwen wɔn mmerebuw wɔ so.”
20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
Obisaa bio se, “Dɛn bio na memfa ntoto ho nkyerɛ ase?
21 It is like unto leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.
Ɛte sɛ mmɔkaw bi a brodotofo de fɔtɔw mmɔre ma etu.”
22 And he went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and journeying on unto Jerusalem.
Bere a Yesu rekɔ Yerusalem no, ɔkyerɛkyerɛɛ wɔ nkurow so ne nkuraa ase ansa na ɔredu hɔ.
23 And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that be saved? And he said unto them,
Ne nkyerɛkyerɛ no mu no, obi bisaa no se, “Awurade, nnipa kakraa bi na wobegye wɔn nkwa ana?” Obuaa no se,
24 Strive to enter in by the narrow door: for many, I say unto you, shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
“Mompere nhyɛn ɔpon teateaa no mu, efisɛ nnipa pii bɛhwehwɛ sɛ wobewura mu, nanso wɔrentumi.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are;
Sɛ ɛba sɛ ofiwura no ato ɔpon no mu a, mobɛba abegyina akyi abɔ mu, aka se, ‘Owura, yɛsrɛ wo bue yɛn.’ “Na ɔno nso abisa mo se, ‘Mufi he? Minnim mo?’
26 then shall ye begin to say, We did eat and drink in thy presence, and thou didst teach in our streets;
“Na mo nso moaka akyerɛ no se, ‘Yɛne wo too nsa didii na wokyerɛkyerɛɛ wɔ yɛn mmorɔn so.’
27 and he shall say, I tell you, I know not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
“Na ofiwura no nso bebisa mo bio se, ‘Mufi he? Minnim mo. Mumfi mʼani so nkɔ, mo nnebɔneyɛfo!’
28 There shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and yourselves cast forth without.
“Na sɛ muhu Abraham, Isak, Yakob ne nkɔmhyɛfo no nyinaa sɛ wɔwɔ Onyankopɔn ahenni no mu a, mode mo nsa begu mo ti atwa agyaadwo, efisɛ wɔbɛtow mo agu sum kabii mu.
29 And they shall come from the east and west, and from the north and south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
Nnipa fi apuei ne atɔe nyinaa behyia wɔ Onyankopɔn ahenni no mu hɔ ato nsa adidi.
30 And behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
Na monkae sɛ akyikafo bi wɔ hɔ a, wobedi kan, na adikanfo bi nso wɔ hɔ a, wɔbɛka akyi.”
31 In that very hour there came certain Pharisees, saying to him, Get thee out, and go hence: for Herod would fain kill thee.
Saa bere no ara mu na Farisifo bi baa Yesu nkyɛn bɛka kyerɛɛ no se, “Fi ha kɔ, efisɛ Herode rehwehwɛ wo akum wo.”
32 And he said unto them, Go and say to that fox, Behold, I cast out devils and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third [day] I am perfected.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monkɔka nkyerɛ sakraman no se, ‘mitu ahonhommɔne, na masa nyarewa nnɛ ne ɔkyena na ne nnansa so no, medu Yerusalem.’
33 Howbeit I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the [day] following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
Nanso ɛsɛ sɛ menantew nnɛ ne ɔkyena ne nʼadekyee, na otwa ara na etwa sɛ odiyifo bewu wɔ Yerusalem!
34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen [gathereth] her own brood under her wings, and ye would not!
“Yerusalem, Yerusalem, wo a wukum adiyifo na wusiw wɔn a wɔsoma wɔn wo nkyɛn no abo! Mpɛn ahe ni a mepɛɛ sɛ meboaboa wo mma ano sɛ akokɔbeatan boaboa ne mma ano wɔ ne ntaban ase nanso moampene so.
35 Behold, your house is left unto you [desolate]: and I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Na mo afi bɛdan afituw na morenhu me kosi sɛ mobɛka se, ‘Nhyira ne nea ɔnam Awurade din mu reba no!’”
