Leviticus 22
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, which they hallow unto me, and that they profane not my holy name: I am the LORD.
“ಆರೋನನೊಂದಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಪುತ್ರರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಮಾತನಾಡು, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡದಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ನನಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿರಿಸಬೇಕು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು.
3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed throughout your generations, that approacheth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from before me: I am the LORD.
“ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು: ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂತತಿಯ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವನು ಬರುವನೋ, ಅವನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು.
4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath an issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
“‘ಆರೋನನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಚರ್ಮರೋಗ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳವನಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವವರೆಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಹೆಣದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತನ್ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ವೀರ್ಯ ಹೊರಟವನು
5 or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;
ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವಂತೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಯಾವುದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವನು,
6 the soul which toucheth any such shall be unclean until the even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his flesh in water.
ಸಂಜೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದು.
7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean; and afterward he shall eat of the holy things, because it is his bread.
ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮುಳುಗಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರ.
8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.
ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಸತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳಿಂದ ಕೊಂದದ್ದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು.
9 They shall therefore keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it: I am the LORD which sanctify them.
“‘ಯಾಜಕರು ಅದನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಾಯದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ.
10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest’s, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.
“‘ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಪರಕೀಯನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಯಾಜಕನ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕೂಲಿ ಆಳಾಗಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
11 But if a priest buy any soul, the purchase of his money, he shall eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they shall eat of his bread.
ಆದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನು ಯಾವನನ್ನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಹಣದಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಅವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದು. ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದು.
12 And if a priest’s daughter be married unto a stranger, she shall not eat of the heave offering of the holy things.
ಯಾಜಕನ ಮಗಳು ಒಬ್ಬ ಯಾಜಕನಲ್ಲದವನನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದರೆ, ಅವಳು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
13 But if a priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father’s house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s bread: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
ಯಾಜಕನ ಮಗಳು ವಿಧವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಗಂಡಬಿಟ್ಟವಳಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದವಳಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದವಳಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಲಿ. ಆದರೆ ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲದ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
14 And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give unto the priest the holy thing.
“‘ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಂದರೆ, ಅವನು ಅದರ ಐದನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
16 and [so] cause them to bear the iniquity that bringeth guilt, when they eat their holy things: for I am the LORD which sanctify them.
ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವುದರಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮದ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರಲಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ.’”
17 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whosoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that offereth his oblation, whether it be any of their vows, or any of their freewill offerings, which they offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;
“ಆರೋನನೊಂದಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಪುತ್ರರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು ಇದೇ, ‘ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮನೆತನದವರಲ್ಲಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಾದ ಪರಕೀಯರಲ್ಲಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಉಚಿತವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ
19 that ye may be accepted, [ye shall offer] a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.
ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಯಿಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಕಳಂಕರಹಿತವಾದ ಗಂಡು ಪಶು, ಕುರಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮೇಕೆಯನ್ನೇ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
ಆದರೆ ದೋಷವಿರುವ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish a vow, or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಉಚಿತವಾದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ, ಅದು ಅಂಗೀಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಯಾವ ದೋಷವೂ ಕಳಂಕವೂ ಇರಬಾರದು.
22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.
ಕುರುಡಾದದ್ದು, ಮುರಿದದ್ದು, ಅಂಗಹೀನವಾದದ್ದು, ಬೊಕ್ಕೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದು, ಕಜ್ಜಿ ತುರಿಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದು, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಲೂಬಾರದು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಲೂಬಾರದು.
23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
ಹೋರಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಅಂಗವಿರುವದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅದರ ಅಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರತೆಯಿರುವುದಾದರೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ಉಚಿತ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಹರಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಅದು ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
24 That which hath its stones bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut, ye shall not offer unto the LORD; neither shall ye do [thus] in your land.
ಜಜ್ಜಿ ಗಾಯವಾದ, ನುಜ್ಜುಗುಜ್ಜಾದ, ಮುರಿದ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕೊಯ್ದಿರುವ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿರುವ ಅಂಥ ಯಾವ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ನೀವು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು.
25 Neither from the hand of a foreigner shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, there is a blemish in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಕೀಯನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಅಂತಹ ಯಾವ ಪಶುವನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಕುಂದುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ದೋಷಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಅವು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.’”
26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for the oblation of an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
“ಹೋರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕುರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆಡನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಂದಾಗ, ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅದು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿ. ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಅದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗುವುದು.
28 And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.
ಹಸುವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕುರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅದರ ಮರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಧಿಸಬಾರದು.
29 And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, ye shall sacrifice it that ye may be accepted.
“ನೀವು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಯಜ್ಞಾರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
30 On the same day it shall be eaten; ye shall leave none of it until the morning: I am the LORD.
ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡಬೇಕು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಮಾರನೆಯ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಉಳಿಸಬಾರದು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು.
31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
“ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು.
32 And ye shall not profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,
ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸಬಾರದು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕು. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ.
33 that brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.
ನಿಮಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರಲು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದೆನು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು.”
