< Leviticus 21 >

1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none defile himself for the dead among his people;
Jehovha akati kuna Mozisi, “Taura kuvaprista vanakomana vaAroni uti kwavari: ‘Muprista haafaniri kuzvisvibisa, achiitira kunyange ani zvake pakati pavanhu vake vanofa.
2 except for his kin, that is near unto him, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother;
Kunze kwehama yepedyo yakaita samai kana baba vake, mwanakomana kana mwanasikana wake, mukoma kana mununʼuna wake,
3 and for his sister a virgin, that is near unto him, which hath had no husband, for her may he defile himself.
kana hanzvadzi yake isina kuroorwa yaanochengeta sezvo asina murume nokuda kwaiyeyu angagona kuzvisvibisa.
4 He shall not defile himself, [being] a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
Haafaniri kuzvisvibisa nokuda kwavanhu vano ukama naye hwokuwanana, akadaro azvisvibisa.
5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
“‘Vaprista havafaniri kuveurwa misoro kana kudimburira ndebvu dzavo kana kutema miviri yavo nyora.
6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
Vanofanira kuva vatsvene kuna Mwari wavo uye havafaniri kumhura zita raMwari wavo. Nokuti vanouyisa kuna Jehovha zvipiriso zvinoitwa nomoto, nezvokudya zvaMwari wavo; naizvozvo vanofanira kuva vatsvene.
7 They shall not take a woman that is a harlot, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
“‘Havafaniri kuwana vakadzi vakasvibiswa noufeve kana kuti vakarambwa navarume vavo nokuti muprista mutsvene kuna Mwari wake.
8 Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
Mutsaurei somutsvene nokuti ndiye anouya nezvokudya zvaMwari wenyu. Mutsaurei somutsvene nokuti ini Jehovha ndiri mutsvene, ini ndinokuitai vatsvene.
9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the harlot, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
“‘Kana mwanasikana womuprista akazvisvibisa nokuva chifeve, anonyadzisa baba vake; anofanira kupiswa mumoto.
10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head go loose, nor rend his clothes;
“‘Muprista mukuru, uyo ari pakati pamadzikoma ake navanunʼuna vake, akadirwa mafuta okuzodzwa pamusoro pake uye akagadzwa kuti apfeke nguo dzouprista, haafaniri kurega bvudzi rake risina kukamiwa, kana kubvarura nguo dzake.
11 neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
Haafaniri kupinda munzvimbo ine chitunha. Haafaniri kuzvisvibisa kunyange nokuda kwababa vake kana mai vake,
12 neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
kana kubva munzvimbo tsvene yaMwari kana kuisvibisa, nokuti akakumikidzwa namafuta okuzodza aMwari wake. Ndini Jehovha.
13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
“‘Mukadzi waanowana anofanira kunge ari mhandara izere.
14 A widow, or one divorced, or a profane woman, an harlot, these shall he not take: but a virgin of his own people shall he take to wife.
Haafaniri kuwana chirikadzi, mukadzi akarambwa kana mukadzi akasvibiswa noufeve asi mhandara yakazara bedzi kubva kuvanhu vokwake,
15 And he shall not profane his seed among his people: for I am the LORD which sanctify him.
kuitira kuti arege kuzosvibisa zvizvarwa zvake pakati pavanhu vokwake. Ndini Jehovha ndinomuita mutsvene.’”
16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Jehovha akati kuna Mozisi,
17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed throughout their generations that hath a blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
“Uti kuna Aroni, ‘Kuzvizvarwa zvichatevera hakuna mumwe wezvizvarwa zvako akaremara angaswedera pedyo kuzopa zvokudya zvaMwari wake.
18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
Hapana munhu ano urema hupi zvahwo angaswedera pedyo: hakuna bofu kana anokamhina kana akaremara;
19 or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
hakuna munhu ane gumbo rakaremara kana ruoko rwakaremara,
20 or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or is scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
kana ane musana wakakombama, munhu akapfupikisa kana ano urema hwamaziso kana ane mamota kana ane mhezi, kana akakuvara manhu ake.
21 no man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a blemish, shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
Hapana wechizvarwa chaAroni akaremara neipi nzira angaswedera pedyo kuzopa zvipiriso zvinoitirwa Jehovha nomoto. Ano urema; haafaniri kuswedera pedyo kuzopa zvokudya zvaMwari wake.
22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
Angadya hake zvokudya zvitsvene-tsvene zvaMwari wake, pamwe chete nezvokudya zvitsvene;
23 Only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I am the LORD which sanctify them.
asi nokuda kwourema hwake, haafaniri kusvika pedyo nechidzitiro kana kusvika paaritari, agosvibisa nzvimbo yangu tsvene. Ndini Jehovha ndinovaita vatsvene.’”
24 So Moses spake unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
Saka Mozisi akataura izvi kuna Aroni navanakomana vake nokuvaIsraeri vose.
