< Judges 5 >
1 Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
その日デボラとアビノアムの子バラク謳ひていはく
2 For that the leaders took the lead in Israel, for that the people offered themselves willingly, bless ye the LORD.
イスラエルの首長みちびきをなし民また好んで出でたればヱホバを頌美よ
3 Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, [even] I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.
もろもろの王よ聽けもろもろの伯よ耳をかたぶけよ我はそのヱホバに謳はん我はイスラエルの神ヱホバを讚へん
4 LORD, when thou wentest forth out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the heavens also dropped, yea, the clouds dropped water.
ああヱホバよ汝セイルより出でエドムの野より進みたまひしとき地震ひ天また滴りて雲水を滴らせたり
5 The mountains flowed down at the presence of the LORD, even yon Sinai at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.
もろもろの山はヱホバのまへに撼動ぎ彼のシナイもイスラエルの神ヱホバのまへに撼動げり
6 In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.
アナテの子シヤムガルのときまたヤエルの時には大路は通行る者なく途行く人は徑を歩み
7 The rulers ceased in Israel, they ceased, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
イスラエルの村莊には住者なく住む者あらずなりけるがつひに我デボラ起れり我起りてイスラエルに母となる
8 They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
人々新しき神を選みければ戰鬪門におよべりイスラエルの四萬人のうちに盾或は鎗の見しことあらんや
9 My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people: bless ye the LORD.
吾が心は民のうちに好んでいでたるイスラエルの有司等に傾けり汝らヱホバを頌美よ
10 Tell [of it], ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit on rich carpets, and ye that walk by the way.
しろき驢馬に乗るもの毛氈に坐するものおよび路歩む人よ汝ら謳ふべし
11 Far from the noise of archers, in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, [even] the righteous acts of his rule in Israel. Then the people of the LORD went down to the gates.
矢叫の聲に遠かり水汲むところにおいてヱホバの義しき所爲をとなへそのイスラエルを治理めたまふ義しき所爲を唱へよその時ヱホバの民は門に下れり
12 Awake, awake, Deborah; awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
興よ起よデボラ興よ起よ歌を謳ふべし起てよバラク汝の俘虜を擄きたれアビノアムの子よ
13 Then came down a remnant of the nobles [and] the people; the LORD came down for me against the mighty.
其時民の首長等の殘餘者くだり來るヱホバ勇士の中にいまして我にくだりたまふ
14 Out of Ephraim [came down] they whose root is in Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy peoples; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the marshal’s staff.
エフライムより出る者ありその根アマレクにありベニヤミン汝のあとにつきて汝の民の中にありマキルよりは牧伯下りゼブルンよりは采配を執るものいたる
15 And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; as was Issachar, so was Barak; into the valley they rushed forth at his feet. By the watercourses of Reuben there were great resolves of heart.
イッサカルの伯たちはデボラとともに居るイッサカルはバラクとおなじく足の進みて平地に至るルベンの河邊にて大に心にはかる事あり
16 Why satest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the pipings for the flocks? At the watercourses of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.
何故に汝は圈のうちに止まりて羊の群に笛吹くを聽くやルベンの河邊にて大に心に考ふることあり
17 Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and Dan, why did he remain in ships? Asher sat still at the haven of the sea, and abode by his creeks.
ギレアデはヨルダンの彼方に臥し居る何故にダンは舟のかたはらに止まりしやアセルは濱邊に坐してその港に臥し居る
18 Zebulun was a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death, and Naphtali, upon the high places of the field.
ゼブルンは生命を捐て死を冒せる民なり野の高きところに居るナフタリまた是の如し
19 The kings came and fought; then fought the kings of Canaan; in Taanach by the waters of Meggido: they took no gain of money.
もろもろの王來りて戰へる時にカナンのもろもろの王メギドンの水の邊においてタアナクに戰へり彼ら一片の貨幣をも獲ざりき
20 They fought from heaven, the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
天よりこれを攻るものありもろもろの星其の道を離れてシセラを攻む
21 The river Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, march on with strength.
キシオンの河之を押し流しぬ是彼の古への河キシオンの河なりわが靈魂よ汝ますます勇みて進め
22 Then did the horsehoofs stamp by reason of the pransings, the pransings of their strong ones.
その時馬の蹄は強きももの馳に馳るに由りて地を踏鳴せり
23 Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
ヱホバの使いひけるはメロズを詛ふべし汝ら重ね重ねその民を詛ふべきなり彼等來りてヱホバを助けずヱホバを助けて猛者を攻めざればなり
24 Blessed above women shall Jael be, the wife of Heber the Kenite, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
ケニ人ヘベルの妻ヤエルは婦女のうちの最も頌むべき者なり彼は天幕に居る婦女のうち最も頌むべきものなり
25 He asked water, [and] she gave him milk; she brought him butter in a lordly dish.
シセラ水を乞ふにヤエル乳を與ふ即ち貴き盤に乳の油を盛てささぐ
26 She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote through his head, yea, she pierced and struck through his temples.
ヤエル釘子に手をかけ右の手に重き椎をとりてシセラを打ちその頭を碎きその鬢のあたりをうちて貫ぬく
27 At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
シセラ、ヤエルの足の間に屈みて仆れ偃しその足のあはひに屈みて仆れその屈みたる所にて仆れ亡ぬ
28 Through the window she looked forth, and cried, the mother of Sisera [cried] through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
シセラの母窓より望み格子のうちより叫びて言ふ彼が車のきたること何て遲きや彼が馬の歩何てはかどらざるやと
29 Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
その賢き侍女こたへをなす(母また獨語して斯いへり)
30 Have they not found, have they not divided the spoil? a damsel, two damsels to every man; to Sisera a spoil of divers colours, a spoil of divers colours of embroidery, of divers colours of embroidery on both sides, on the necks of the spoil?
かれら獲ものしてこれを分たざらんや人ごとに一人二人の女子を獲んシセラの獲るものは彩る衣ならんその獲る者は彩る衣にして文繍を施せる者ならん即ち彩りて兩面に文繍をほどこせる衣をえてその頸にまとはんと
31 So let all thine enemies perish, [O LORD]: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
ヱホバよ汝の敵みな是のごとくに亡びよかしまたヱホバを愛するものは日の眞盛に昇るが如くなれよかし とかくて後國は四十年のあひだ太平なりき
