Judges 5
1 Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
১সেদিন দবোরা ও অবীনোয়মের পুত্র বারক এই গান করলেন।
2 For that the leaders took the lead in Israel, for that the people offered themselves willingly, bless ye the LORD.
২ইস্রায়েললে নেতারা নেতৃত্ব দিলেন, প্রজারা নিজের ইচ্ছায় নিজেদেরকে উত্সর্গ করল, এজন্য তোমরা সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ কর।
3 Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, [even] I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.
৩রাজারা শোনো; শাসকরা মনোযোগ দাও; আমি, আমিই সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে গান করব, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে গান করব।
4 LORD, when thou wentest forth out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the heavens also dropped, yea, the clouds dropped water.
৪হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি যখন সেয়ীর থেকে চলে গেলে, ইদোম-ক্ষেত্র থেকে এগিয়ে গেলে, ভূমি কেঁপে উঠল, আকাশও বর্ষণ করল, মেঘমালা জল বর্ষণ করল।
5 The mountains flowed down at the presence of the LORD, even yon Sinai at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.
৫সদাপ্রভুর সামনে পর্বতেরা কম্পমান হল, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সামনে ঐ সীনয় কম্পমান হল।
6 In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.
৬অনাতের পুত্র শম্গরের দিনের, যায়েলের দিনের, রাজপথ শূন্য হল, পথিকেরা অন্য পথ দিয়ে যেত।
7 The rulers ceased in Israel, they ceased, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
৭নায়করা ইস্রায়েলের মধ্যে থেমে ছিল, শেষে আমি দবোরা উঠলাম, ইস্রায়েলের মধ্যে মাতৃস্থানীয় হয়ে উঠলাম।
8 They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
৮তারা নূতন দেবতা মনোনীত করেছিল; সেই দিনের নগরের দরজার কাছে যুদ্ধ হল; ইস্রায়েলের চল্লিশ হাজার লোকের মধ্যে কি একটা ঢাল বা বর্শা দেখা গেল না?
9 My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people: bless ye the LORD.
৯আমার হৃদয় ইস্রায়েলের অধ্যক্ষগণের দিকে গেল, যাঁরা প্রজাদের মধ্যে নিজের ইচ্ছায় নিজেদেরকে উৎসর্গ করলেন; তোমরা সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ কর।
10 Tell [of it], ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit on rich carpets, and ye that walk by the way.
১০তোমরা যারা সাদা গাধীর পিঠে চড়ে থাক, যারা আসনের ওপরে বসে থাক, যারা পথে ভ্রমণ কর, তোমরাই ওর সংবাদ দাও।
11 Far from the noise of archers, in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, [even] the righteous acts of his rule in Israel. Then the people of the LORD went down to the gates.
১১ধনুর্দ্ধরদের আওয়াজ থেকে দূরে, জল তুলবার স্থান সকলে সেখানে কীর্ত্তিত হচ্ছে সদাপ্রভুর ধর্মকাজ, ইস্রায়েলে তাঁর শাসন সংক্রান্ত ধর্ম-কাজ সমূহ, তখন সদাপ্রভুর প্রজারা নগরের দরজায় নেমে যেত।
12 Awake, awake, Deborah; awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
১২দবোরে, জাগ্রত হও; জাগ্রত হও, জাগ্রত হও, জাগ্রত হও, গান গাও; বারক, উঠ, অবীনোয়মের ছেলে, তোমার বন্দিদেরকে বন্দি কর।
13 Then came down a remnant of the nobles [and] the people; the LORD came down for me against the mighty.
১৩তখন বেঁচে থাকা মহান লোকদের অবশিষ্টেরা ও সদাপ্রভুর লোকেরা আমার পক্ষে সেই বিক্রমীদের বিরুদ্ধে নামলেন।
14 Out of Ephraim [came down] they whose root is in Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy peoples; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the marshal’s staff.
১৪অমালেকেরা ইফ্রয়িম থেকে আসলো; বিন্যামীনের লোকেরা তাদের অনুসরণ করে আসলো; মাখীর থেকে অধ্যক্ষরা নেমে এলেন, সবূলূন থেকে শাসকদের লাঠিধারীরা নেমে এলেন।
15 And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; as was Issachar, so was Barak; into the valley they rushed forth at his feet. By the watercourses of Reuben there were great resolves of heart.
১৫ইষাখরেতে আমার অধ্যক্ষরা দবোরার সঙ্গী ছিলেন, ইষাখর যেমন বারকও তেমন, তার পিছনে তাঁরা দ্রুত উপত্যকায় এলেন। রূবেণের গোষ্ঠীর কাছে গুরুতর পরীক্ষা ছিল।
16 Why satest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the pipings for the flocks? At the watercourses of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.
১৬তুমি কেন মেষদের মাঝখানে বসলে? কি মেষপালকদের বাঁশির সুর শুনবার জন্য? রূবেণের গোষ্ঠীর কাছে গুরুতর হৃদয়ের পরীক্ষা হল।
17 Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and Dan, why did he remain in ships? Asher sat still at the haven of the sea, and abode by his creeks.
১৭গিলিয়দ যর্দ্দনের ওপারে বাস করল, আর দান কেন জাহাজে থাকল? আশের সমুদ্রে বন্দরে বসে থাকল, নিজের বন্দরের ধারে বাস করল।
18 Zebulun was a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death, and Naphtali, upon the high places of the field.
১৮সবূলূনগোষ্ঠীর জীবন তুচ্ছ করল মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত, নপ্তালিও যুদ্ধ ক্ষেত্রে তাই করল।
19 The kings came and fought; then fought the kings of Canaan; in Taanach by the waters of Meggido: they took no gain of money.
১৯রাজগণ এসে যুদ্ধ করলেন, তখন কনানের রাজারা যুদ্ধ করলেন; মগিদ্দোর জলাশয়ের তীরে যুদ্ধ করলেন; কিন্তু তাঁরা একখণ্ড রূপাও লুট করল না।
20 They fought from heaven, the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
২০আকাশমণ্ডল থেকে যুদ্ধ হল, নিজের নিজের পথে তারারা সীষরার বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করল।
21 The river Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, march on with strength.
২১কীশোন নদী তাদেরকে ভাসিয়ে নিয়ে গেল; সেই প্রাচীন নদী, কীশোন নদী। হে আমার প্রাণ, সবলে এগিয়ে যাও।
22 Then did the horsehoofs stamp by reason of the pransings, the pransings of their strong ones.
২২তখন শক্তিশালীদের নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য ঘোড়াদের খুর মাটি পিষে দিল।
23 Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
২৩সদাপ্রভুর দূত বলেন, মেরোসকে অভিশাপ দাও, সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে দারুন অভিশাপ দাও; কারণ তাঁরা বিক্রমীদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করার জন্য সদাপ্রভুকে সাহায্য করতে এল না।
24 Blessed above women shall Jael be, the wife of Heber the Kenite, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
২৪মহিলাদের মধ্যে যায়েল ধন্যা, কেনীয় হেবরের পত্নী ধন্যা, তাঁবুবাসিনী স্ত্রীলোকদের মধ্যে তিনি ধন্যা।
25 He asked water, [and] she gave him milk; she brought him butter in a lordly dish.
২৫সে জল চাইল, তিনি তাকে দুধ দিলেন। রাজার উপযোগী পাত্রে ক্ষীর এনে দিলেন।
26 She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote through his head, yea, she pierced and struck through his temples.
২৬তিনি তাঁবুর খোঁটায় হাত রাখলেন, কামারের হাতুড়িতে ডান হাত রাখলেন; তিনি সীষরাকে হাতুড়ি দিয়ে মারলেন, তার মাথা ভেঙে দিলেন, তার মাথার খুলি ভেঙে টুকরো টুকরো করলেন ও কানপাটি ভাঙলেন।
27 At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
২৭সে তাঁর পায়ে হেঁট হয়ে পড়ল, লম্বা হয়ে শুয়ে পড়ল আর যেখানে হেঁট হল, সেখানে মারা গেল।
28 Through the window she looked forth, and cried, the mother of Sisera [cried] through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
২৮সীষরার মা ছোট জানালা দিয়ে দেখল, সে জানালা থেকে ডেকে বলল, “তার রথ আসতে কেন দেরী করছে? তার রথের চাকা কেন ধীরে ধীরে চলছে?”
29 Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
২৯তার জ্ঞানবতী সহচরীরা উত্তর করল, সে নিজেও তার কথার উত্তর দিল,
30 Have they not found, have they not divided the spoil? a damsel, two damsels to every man; to Sisera a spoil of divers colours, a spoil of divers colours of embroidery, of divers colours of embroidery on both sides, on the necks of the spoil?
৩০তারা কি পায়নি? লুটের ভাগ করে নেয়নি? প্রত্যেক পুরুষের জন্য একটি স্ত্রী, দুইটি স্ত্রী আর সীষরার চিত্রিত বস্ত্র পেয়েছে, চিত্রিত দুধার বাঁধা বস্ত্র লুটকারীর আমার গলায়।
31 So let all thine enemies perish, [O LORD]: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
৩১হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার সব শত্রু এই ভাবে বিনষ্ট হোক, কিন্তু যারা তোমাকে প্রেম করে তারা প্রভাবশালী সূর্য্যের মতো হোক। পরে চল্লিশ বছর দেশে শান্তি থাকল।
