Job 4
1 Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,
| ئینجا ئەلیفازی تێمانی وەڵامی دایەوە: |
2 If one assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
| «ئەگەر یەکێک قسەیەک بکات دڵگران دەبیت؟ بەڵام کێ دەتوانێت لە قسەکردن ڕابوەستێت؟ |
3 Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
| لە یادت بێ تۆ ڕێنمایی زۆر کەست کردووە و دەستە شلبووەکانت توند کردووە. |
4 Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast confirmed the feeble knees.
| قسەکانت ئەوانەی هەستاندەوە کە کەوتوون و ئەژنۆ لەرزۆکەکانت چەسپاند. |
5 But now it is come unto thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
| بەڵام ئێستا کە خۆت تووشی تەنگانە بوویت، ورەت بەرداوە، لەوەی کە بەسەر خۆت هاتووە، پەرێشان بوویت. |
6 Is not thy fear [of God] thy confidence, [and] thy hope the integrity of thy ways?
| ئایا پشت بە لەخواترسییەکەت نابەستیت؟ ئایا بێ کەموکوڕییەکەت هیوابەخش نییە؟ |
7 Remember, I pray thee, who [ever] perished, being innocent? or where were the upright cut off?
| «بەبیر خۆتی بهێنەرەوە، بێتاوانێکت بینیوە فەوتابێت، یاخود کەسە سەرڕاستەکان لەناوچووبن؟ |
8 According as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow trouble, reap the same.
| وەک بینیوتە، ئەوانەی خراپە دەکێڵن و چەرمەسەری دەچێنن، خۆیان دروێنەی دەکەن. |
9 By the breath of God they perish, and by the blast of his anger are they consumed.
| بە هەناسەی خودا لەناودەچن و بە بای تووڕەییەکەی نامێنن. |
10 The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
| مڕەمڕی شێر و دەنگی نەڕەی و کەڵبەی شێرەکان شکێنران. |
11 The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the whelps of the lioness are scattered abroad.
| شێر دەفەوتێت لەبەر نەبوونی نێچیر و بەچکەی شێرەکە پەرتەوازە دەبن. |
12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a whisper thereof.
| «وشەیەک بۆ لای من دزەی کرد، گوێم چرپەیەکی بیست. |
13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
| لە مۆتەکەی شەومدا کاتێک مرۆڤ خەوێکی قووڵ دەیباتەوە، |
14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
| ترس و تۆقینێک منی داگرت و هەموو ئێسکەکانم لەرزین. |
15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up.
| ڕۆحێک بە بەردەممدا تێپەڕی و مووەکانی لەشم مووچڕکەیان پێدا هات. |
16 It stood still, but I could not discern the appearance thereof; a form was before mine eyes: [there was] silence, and I heard a voice, [saying],
| ڕاوەستا، بەڵام نەمزانی چی بوو، شێوەیەک لەبەرچاوم بوو، چرپەیەک و دەنگێکم بیست: |
17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his Maker?
| ”ئایا مرۆڤ لە خودا ڕاستودروستترە، یان پیاو لە بەدیهێنەرەکەی بێگەردتر دەبێت؟ |
18 Behold, he putteth no trust in his servants; and his angels he chargeth with folly:
| ئەگەر خودا متمانە بە خزمەتکارەکانی نەکات و گومڕایی بخاتە پاڵ فریشتەکانی، |
19 How much more them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth!
| ئەی چەند زیاتر متمانە بە دانیشتووانی ناو خانووی قوڕ ناکات، ئەوانەی بنەچەیان لە خۆڵەوەیە و وەک مۆرانە پان دەکرێنەوە. |
20 Betwixt morning and evening they are destroyed: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
| لەنێوان بەیانی و ئێوارەدا تێکدەشکێنرێن، بێ ئەوەی کەس ئاگای لێیان بێت بۆ هەتاهەتایە لەناودەچن. |
21 Is not their tent-cord plucked up within them? they die, and that without wisdom.
| ئایا گوریسی ڕەشماڵەکانیان هەڵنەکێشراوە، تاکو بەبێ دانایی بمرن؟“ |
