< Job 36 >

1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,
Erihu akaenderera mberi achiti:
2 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee: for I have yet somewhat to say on God’s behalf.
“Imbondiitirai mwoyo murefu kwechimwezve chinguva, ipapo ndichakuratidzai kuti pane zvimwe zvakawanda zvokutaura, ndakamiririra Mwari.
3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
Ruzivo rwangu runobva kure; ndichati Muiti wangu akarurama.
4 For truly my words are not false: one that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
Muzive kuti mashoko angu haasi enhema; akakwana pazivo ari pakati penyu.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength of understanding.
“Mwari ane simba asi haazvidzi vanhu; ane simba, uye anozadzisa zvaakaronga.
6 He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth to the afflicted [their] right.
Haaregi vakaipa vari vapenyu, asi anopa vanotambudzika kodzero dzavo.
7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings upon the throne he setteth them for ever, and they are exalted.
Haabvisi meso ake pane vakarurama; anovagadza pamwe chete namadzimambo uye anovasimudzira nokusingaperi.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be taken in the cords of affliction;
Asi kana vanhu vakasungwa nengetani, vakabatwa zvakasimba netambo dzokutambudzika,
9 Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions, that they have behaved themselves proudly.
iye anovaudza zvavanenge vaita, kuti vatadza nokuzvikudza zvikuru.
10 He openeth also their ear to instruction, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
Anovaita kuti vateerere kurayirwa, uye anovarayira kuti vatendeuke pane zvakaipa zvavo.
11 If they hearken and serve [him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Kana vakateerera uye vakamushumira, vachapedza mazuva avo ose mukubudirira uye makore avo vari mukugutsikana.
12 But if they hearken not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
Asi kana vasingateereri, vachapera nomunondo, uye vachafa vasina zivo.
13 But they that are godless in heart lay up anger: they cry not for help when he bindeth them.
“Vasina umwari mumwoyo yavo vanochengeta pfundipfundi, kunyange paanovasunga, havaridzi mhere kuti vabatsirwe.
14 They die in youth, and their life [perisheth] among the unclean.
Vanofa panguva yeujaya hwavo, pakati pezvifeve zvechirume zvepashongwe.
15 He delivereth the afflicted by his affliction, and openeth their ear in oppression.
Asi vaya vanotambudzika anovarwira pakutambudzika kwavo; anotaura kwavari panguva yokurwadziwa kwavo.
16 Yea, he would have led thee away out of distress into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which is set on thy table should be full of fatness.
“Ari kukukwezva kubva pamuromo wenhamo, kuti akuise panzvimbo yakasununguka isina zvipinganidzo, pazvivaraidzo zvetafura yenyu izere nezvokudya zvakaisvonaka.
17 But thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold [on thee].
Asi zvino waremedzwa nokutonga kwakafanira vakaipa; kutonga uye kururamisira zvakubata iwe.
18 Because there is wrath, beware lest thou be led away by [thy] sufficiency; neither let the greatness of the ransom turn thee aside.
Uchenjere kuti parege kuva nomunhu anokunyengera nepfuma; usarega fufuro huru ichikutsausa.
19 Will thy riches suffice, [that thou be] not in distress, or all the forces of [thy] strength?
Ko, pfuma yako kana kushingaira kwesimba rako zvingakutsigira kuti urege kutambudzika here?
20 Desire not the night, when peoples are cut off in their place.
Rega kushuva usiku, kuti ukwekweredzere vanhu kure nemisha yavo.
21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
Chenjera kuti urege kudzokera kune zvakaipa, izvo zvaunoda pachinzvimbo chokutambudzika.
22 Behold, God doeth loftily in his power: who is a teacher like unto him?
“Tarira, Mwari anosimudzirwa musimba rake. Ndianiko mudzidzisi akafanana naye?
23 Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness?
Ndianiko akamuratidza nzira dzake, kana akati kwaari, ‘Makanganisa imi?’
24 Remember that thou magnify his work, whereof men have sung.
Rangarira kukudza basa rake, iro rakarumbidzwa navanhu munziyo.
25 All men have looked thereon; man beholdeth it afar off.
Marudzi ose avanhu akariona; vanhu vanoritarisa vari kure.
26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not; the number of his years is unsearchable.
Haiwa, Mwari mukuru kupfuura kunzwisisa kwedu! Kuwanda kwamakore ake hakuverengeki.
27 For he draweth up the drops of water, which distil in rain from his vapour:
“Anokwevera madonhwe emvura kumusoro, anoshanduka achinaya semvura kuhova;
28 Which the skies pour down and drop upon man abundantly.
makore anodurura unyoro hwawo uye mvura yakawanda inonaya pamusoro pavanhu.
29 Yea, can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion?
Ndianiko anganzwisisa kuparadzira kwaanoita makore, namatinhiriro aanoita ari mudenga rake?
30 Behold, he spreadeth his light around him; and he covereth the bottom of the sea.
Tarirai maparadziro aanoita mheni yake pamativi ake, ichituhwina makadzika megungwa.
31 For by these he judgeth the peoples; he giveth meat in abundance.
Ndiyo nzira yaanotonga nayo ndudzi neyaanodziriritira nayo nezvokudya zvakawanda.
32 He covereth his hands with the lightning; and giveth it a charge that it strike the mark.
Anozadza maoko ake nemheni agorayira kuti irove paanoda.
33 The noise thereof telleth concerning him, the cattle also concerning [the storm] that cometh up.
Kutinhira kwake kunozivisa dutu remvura riri kuuya; kunyange mombe dzinoratidza kusvika kwaro.
