< Job 29 >

1 And Job again took up his parable, and said,
Jopu'a mago'ene keaga'a amanage huno hu'ne,
2 Oh that I were as in the months of old, as in the days when God watched over me;
3 When his lamp shined upon my head, and by his light I walked through darkness;
Anumzamo agra nasenirera tavira remsa hunentege'na, mago zankura nagesa ontahi knare hu'na vu'noe.
4 As I was in the ripeness of my days, when the secret of God was upon my tent;
Hagi ko'ma maka zamo'ma knare'ma higenama mani'noa knafina, nagrite'ene naga'ni'arera Anumzamo'a taragoteno knare aroneni'a mani'nege'na ke'noe.
5 When the Almighty was yet with me, and my children were about me;
Hankavenentake Anumzamo'ma nagranema taragotenoma mani'nea knafina, mofavre naganimo'za nagri tava'onte mani'naze.
6 When my steps were washed with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil!
Ana nehazage'na bulimakao afu zaga'nifintira ami rina rama'a nerati'na, olivi hozanifintira rama'a olivi raga tagite'na, masavena reratina rama'a erugeno viteno tima eviaza hu'ne.
7 When I went forth to the gate unto the city, when I prepared my seat in the street,
Hagi korapara nagra ugota kva vahe mani'ne'na, rankumamofo kafante'ma keagama refkohu knazupa, zamagima me'nea vahe'mo'zama trate'ma unemanizage'na nagranena tra'nire umani'noe.
8 The young men saw me and hid themselves, and the aged rose up and stood;
9 The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth;
10 The voice of the nobles was hushed, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.
11 For when the ear heard [me], then it blessed me; and when the eye saw [me], it gave witness unto me:
Hagi nagrama keagama nehuge'zama antahi'za vahe'mo'za hu muse hunenantage'za, keagama nehuge'za nagaza vahe'mo'zanena knare keaga hunami'naze.
12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, the fatherless also, that had none to help him.
13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my justice was as a robe and a diadem.
Maka zama hu'noana fatgo kazigatike hu'noe. Hagi fatgoma huno refkohu avu'ava'zamo'a, pristi vahe'mo'zama nentani'za kankrikna huno nasenirera me'ne.
15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame.
Zamavuma asuhu'nea vahera kana zamaveri nehu'na, zamagiama haviza hu'nea vahera zamaza huge'za kana vu'naze.
16 I was a father to the needy: and the cause of him that I knew not I searched out.
17 And I brake the jaws of the unrighteous, and plucked the prey out of his teeth.
Anumzamofoma amage onte vahe'mo'zama vahe'ma zamazeri havizama hazage'na, ana vahera zamagemazampa ru tavegri'na, zamagipintira eri vari'noe.
18 Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand:
Nagrama antahuana, tamagerfa hu'na ama mopafina zazate musenkasea hu'na mani'na vute'na ome ozafa re'na frigahue hu'na nagesa antahi'noe.
19 My root is spread out to the waters, and the dew lieth all night upon my branch:
Hagi zafamofo rafu'namo ofenkame uramino mopa agu'afinti ti anivazu higeno ani'namo tretre hiaza nehigeno atako'mo aninare runteankna hige'na nagra korapara mani'noane.
20 My glory is fresh in me, and my bow is renewed in my hand.
Nagri'ma ko'ma knare nagima nami'naza zamo'a nagripina amne kasefa huno me'ne. Ana nehige'na maka zupa kasefa hankavea erivava hu'na nevue.
21 Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence for my counsel.
Nagrama antahintahima vahe'mokizmima nezamuge'za, maka vahe'mo'za akohe'za mani'neza, nagri nanekea antahi'naze.
22 After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them.
Hagi nagrama keagama huvagama retogeno'a, mago'mo'e huno nagri kerera antemino keaga osu'ne. Na'ankure nagrama hua nanekea antahiso'e hu'nagu anara hu'naze.
23 And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.
24 If I laughed on them, they believed [it] not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down.
E'inama hua kazigati zamarimpa zamazeri hankaveti'noe.
25 I chose out their way, and sat [as] chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners.
