< Job 27 >
1 And Job again took up his parable, and said,
Alò, Job te kontinye diskou li. Li te di:
2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
Kon Bondye viv la, ki te retire dwa m, Toupwisanki te fè m gen nanm anmè a,
3 (For my life is yet whole in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; )
paske tan lavi toujou nan mwen. Souf Bondye la nan nen m.
4 Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, neither shall my tongue utter deceit.
Lèv mwen, anverite, p ap pale sa ki pa dwat, ni lang mwen pa p pale manti.
5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.
Fòk se lwen m pou m ta bay ou rezon. Jiskaske m mouri, mwen p ap lage entegrite m.
6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach [me] so long as I live.
Mwen kenbe fèm a ladwati mwen. Mwen p ap lage l menm. Kè m pa repwoche m depi gen lavi ladan m.
7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.
“Kite lènmi m kapab tankou mechan a. Kite sila ki leve kont mwen, san jistis.
8 For what is the hope of the godless, though he get him gain, when God taketh away his soul?
Paske ki espwa sila ki san Bondye a genyen lè l koupe retire nèt, lè Bondye fè l oblije bay lavi li?
9 Will God hear his cry, when trouble cometh upon him?
Èske Bondye va tande kri li lè malè rive li?
10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call upon God at all times?
Èske li va pran plezi nan Toupwisan an? Èske li va rele non Bondye a nan tout tan sa yo?
11 I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
Mwen va enstwi ou nan pwisans Bondye. Pwojè Toupwisan an, mwen p ap kache l.
12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye become altogether vain?
Gade byen, nou tout gen tan wè sa. Ebyen, poukisa nou aji nan foli?
13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.
“Sa se pòsyon a moun mechan an ki va sòti Bondye, ak eritaj ke mechan yo va resevwa nan men Toupwisan an.
14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
Malgre fis li yo anpil, yo destine pou nepe. Konsa, desandan li yo ap toujou manke pen.
15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death, and his widows shall make no lamentation.
Sila ki swiv li yo va antere nan lamò e vèv li yo p ap kriye pou li.
16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
Malgre li fè gwo pil ajan an vin tankou se tè e prepare vètman anpil tankou ajil,
17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
li kab prepare l, men se moun ladwati yo k ap mete li, se inosan yo k ap divize ajan an.
18 He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a booth which the keeper maketh.
Li te bati kay li tankou papiyon, oswa tankou kay poto gadyen te fè.
19 He lieth down rich, but he shall not be gathered; he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
Li kouche byen rich, men li pa janm vin genyen ankò; li ouvri zye li, men li pa la.
20 Terrors overtake him like waters; a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
Gwo laperèz yo rive pran l tankou yon flèv. Yon move tan vole retire l pandan lannwit.
21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; and it sweepeth him out of his place.
Van lès la pote l ale e li pati. Li fè l vire tounen kite plas li.
22 For [God] shall hurl at him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
Paske l ap plonje sou li san epanye, pandan li eseye envite l chape nan men l.
23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
Pèp la va bat men yo sou li. Yo va sifle sou li kon koulèv, pou li kite plas li a.”
