Job 24
1 Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? and why do not they which know him see his days?
௧சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனுக்குக் காலங்கள் மறைக்கப்படாதிருக்க, அவரை அறிந்தவர்கள் அவர் நியமித்த நாட்களை அறியாதிருக்கிறதென்ன?
2 There are that remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed them.
௨சிலர் எல்லைக்குறிப்புகளை மாற்றி, மந்தைகளைப் பலாத்காரமாகக் கொண்டுபோய் தங்கள் மந்தையில் சேர்க்கிறார்கள்.
3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow’s ox for a pledge.
௩தாய்தகப்பன் இல்லாதவர்களின் கழுதையை ஓட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய், விதவையின் மாட்டை ஈடாக எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்.
4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
௪தேசத்தில் சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளுமளவுக்கு, எளிமையானவர்களை வழியை விட்டு விலக்குகிறார்கள்.
5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert they go forth to their work, seeking diligently for meat; the wilderness [yieldeth] them food for their children.
௫இதோ, அவர்கள் காட்டுக்கழுதைகளைப்போல இரைதேட அதிகாலமே தங்கள் வேலைக்குப் புறப்படுகிறார்கள்; வனாந்திரப் பகுதிதான் அவர்களுக்கும் அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் ஆகாரம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
6 They cut their provender in the field; and they glean the vintage of the wicked.
௬துன்மார்க்கருடைய வயலில் அவர்கள் அவனுக்காக அறுவடைசெய்து, அவனுடைய திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தின் பழங்களைச் சேர்க்கிறார்கள்.
7 They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.
௭குளிரிலே போர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதற்கு ஒன்றும் இல்லாததினால், உடையில்லாமல் இரவுதங்கி,
8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
௮மலைகளிலிருந்துவரும் மழையில் நனைந்து, ஒதுங்க இடமில்லாததினால் கன்மலையிலே ஒதுங்கிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்.
9 There are that pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor:
௯அவர்களோ தகப்பனில்லாத பிள்ளையை முலையைவிட்டுப்பறித்து, தரித்திரன் போர்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதை அடகு வாங்குகிறார்கள்.
10 [So that] they go about naked without clothing, and being an-hungred they carry the sheaves;
௧0அவனை உடையில்லாமல் நடக்கவும், பட்டினியாக அரிக்கட்டுகளைச் சுமக்கவும்,
11 They make oil within the walls of these men; they tread [their] winepresses, and suffer thirst.
௧௧தங்கள் மதில்களுக்குள்ளே செக்காட்டவும், தாகமுள்ளவர்களாக ஆலையாட்டவும் செய்கிறார்கள்.
12 From out of the populous city men groan, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God imputeth it not for folly.
௧௨ஊரில் மனிதர் தவிக்கிறார்கள், குற்றுயிராய்க்கிடக்கிறவர்களின் ஆத்துமா கூப்பிடுகிறது; என்றாலும், தேவன் அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கவனிக்கிறதில்லை.
13 These are of them that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
௧௩அவர்கள் வெளிச்சத்திற்கு விரோதமாக நடக்கிறவர்களின் கூட்டத்தார்; அவர்கள் அவருடைய வழிகளை அறியாமலும், அவருடைய பாதைகளில் தங்காமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
14 The murderer riseth with the light, he killeth the poor and needy; and in the night he is as a thief.
௧௪கொலைபாதகன் பொழுது விடிகிறபோது எழுந்து, ஏழையையும் தேவையுள்ளவனைக் கொன்று, இரவுநேரத்திலே திருடனைப்போல் திரிகிறான்.
15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and he disguiseth his face.
௧௫விபசாரனுடைய கண் மாலை மயங்குகிற நேரத்திற்குக் காத்திருந்து: என்னை ஒருவரும் பார்க்கமாட்டார்கள் என்று முகத்தை மூடிக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.
16 In the dark they dig through houses: they shut themselves up in the daytime; they know not the light.
௧௬அவர்கள் பகலில் அடையாளம் பார்த்த வீடுகளை இரவிலே கன்னமிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் வெளிச்சத்தை அறியமாட்டார்கள்.
17 For the morning is to all of them as the shadow of death; for they know the terrors of the shadow of death.
௧௭விடியுங்காலமும் அவர்களுக்கு மரண இருள்போல் இருக்கிறது; அப்படிப்பட்டவன் மரண இருளின் பயங்கரத்துடன் பழகியிருக்கிறான்.
18 He is swift upon the face of the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he turneth not by the way of the vineyards.
௧௮நீரோட்டத்தைப்போல வேகமாகப் போவான்; தேசத்தில் அவனுடைய பங்கு சபிக்கப்பட்டுப் போகிறதினால், அவனுடைய திராட்சைத்தோட்டங்களின் வழியை இனிக்காண்பதில்லை.
19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: [so doth] Sheol [those which] have sinned. (Sheol h7585)
௧௯வறட்சியும் வெப்பமும் உறைந்த மழையை எரிக்கும்; அப்படியே பாதாளமானது பாவிகளை எரிக்கும். (Sheol h7585)
20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered: and unrighteousness shall be broken as a tree.
௨0அவனைப் பெற்ற கர்ப்பம் அவனை மறக்கும்; புழு திருப்தியாக அவனைத் தின்னும்; அவன் அதன்பின்பு நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை; அக்கிரமமானது பட்டமரத்தைப்போல முறிந்துவிழும்.
21 He devoureth the barren that beareth not; and doeth not good to the widow.
௨௧பிள்ளைபெறாத மலடியின் செல்வத்தை அழித்துவிட்டு, விதவைக்கு நன்மை செய்யாமல்போகிறான்.
22 He draweth away the mighty also by his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
௨௨தன் பலத்தினாலே வல்லவர்களைத் தன் பலமாக்குகிறான்; அவன் எழும்புகிறபோது ஒருவனுக்கும் உயிரைப்பற்றி நிச்சயமில்லை.
23 [God] giveth them to be in security, and they rest thereon; and his eyes are upon their ways.
௨௩தேவன் அவனுக்குச் சுகவாழ்வைக் கட்டளையிட்டால், அதின்மேல் உறுதியாக நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறான்; ஆனாலும் அவருடைய கண்கள் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களின் வழிகளுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது.
24 They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone; yea, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all other, and are cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
௨௪அவர்கள் கொஞ்சக்காலம் உயர்ந்திருந்து, பார்க்காமற்போய், தாழ்த்தப்பட்டு, மற்ற எல்லோரைப்போலும் அடக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; கதிர்களின் நுனியைப்போல அறுக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.
25 And if it be not so now, who will prove me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
௨௫அப்படியில்லையென்று என்னைப் பொய்யனாக்கி, என் வார்த்தைகளைப் பொய்யாக்கக்கூடியவன் யார்” என்றான்.
