Job 22
1 Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,
Тогава теманецът Елифаз в отговор рече:
2 Can a man be profitable unto God? surely he that is wise is profitable unto himself.
Може ли човек да бъде полезен Богу? Ако разумен може да бъде полезен на семе си.
3 Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or is it gain [to him], that thou makest thy ways perfect?
Ако си ти праведен, Всемогъщият има ли за какво да се радва? Или ползува ли се Той, ако правиш пътищата си непорочни?
4 Is it for thy fear [of him] that he reproveth thee, that he entereth with thee into judgment?
Поради твоя ли страх от Него Той те изобличава, И влиза в съд с тебе?
5 Is not thy wickedness great? neither is there any end to thine iniquities.
Нечестието ти не е ли голямо? И беззаконията ти не са ли безкрайни?
6 For thou hast taken pledges of thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
Защото без причина си взел залог от брата си. И си лишил голите от дрехите им,
7 Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.
Не си напоил с вода уморения, И си задържал хляб от гладния.
8 But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man, he dwelt in it.
А който беше як, той придобиваше земята; И който беше почитан, той се заселваше в нея.
9 Thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.
Вдовици си отпратил празни, И мишците на сирачетата си строшил.
10 Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee,
За това примки те обикалят, И страх внезапен те ужасява,
11 Or darkness, that thou canst not see, and abundance of waters cover thee.
Или тъмнина, та не виждаш, И множество води те покрива.
12 Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!
Бог не е ли на небесните висоти? Сега гледай височината на звездите, колко са на високо!
13 And thou sayest, What doth God know? can he judge through the thick darkness?
А ти казваш: Где ще знае Бог? През мрака ли може да съди?
14 Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.
Облаци Го покриват, та не вижда: И ходи по свода небесен,
15 Wilt thou keep the old way which wicked men have trodden?
Забележил ли си ти стария път, По който са ходили беззаконниците?
16 Who were snatched away before their time, whose foundation was poured out as a stream:
Тия, които преждевременно бидоха грабнати, И чиято основа порой завлече,
17 Who said unto God, Depart from us; and, What can the Almighty do for us?
Които рекоха Богу: Отдалечи се от нас, И - какво може Всемогъщият да стори за нас?
18 Yet he fired their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
При все, че Той напълни с блага домовете им. Но далеч да бъде от мене мъдруването на нечестивите!
19 The righteous see it, and are glad; and the innocent laugh them to scorn:
Праведните гледат и се радват; И невинните им се присмиват, като казват:
20 [Saying], Surely they that did rise up against us are cut off, and the remnant of them the fire hath consumed.
Не бяха ли погубени въстаналите против нас, И огън погълна останалите от тях?
21 Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
Сприятели се сега с Него и бъди в мир; От това ще дойде добро за тебе.
22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
Приеми, прочее, закона от устата Му, И съхрани думите Му в сърцето си.
23 If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up; if thou put away unrighteousness far from thy tents.
Ако се върнеш към Всемогъщия, пак ще бъдеш утвърден; Отдалечи, прочее, беззаконието от шатрите си,
24 And lay thou [thy] treasure in the dust, and [the gold of] Ophir among the stones of the brooks;
Хвърли злото си в пръстта, И офирското злато между камъните на потоците;
25 And the Almighty shall be thy treasure, and precious silver unto thee.
И Всемогъщият ще ти бъде злато, И изобилие от сребро за тебе.
26 For then shalt thou delight thyself in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
Защото тогава ще се веселиш във Всемогъщия, И ще въздигаш лицето си към Бога.
27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee; and thou shalt pay thy vows.
Ще Му се помолиш, и Той ще те послуша; И ще изпълни обреците Си.
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and light shall shine upon thy ways.
И каквото решение направиш, ще ти бъде потвърдено; И светлина ще сияе по пътищата ти.
29 When they cast [thee] down, thou shalt say, [There is] lifting up; and the humble person he shall save.
Когато те унижат, Тогава ще речеш: Има въздигане! И Той ще спаси онзи, който има смирен поглед.
30 He shall deliver [even] him that is not innocent: yea, he shall be delivered through the cleanness of thine hands.
Даже онзи, който не е невинен, ще избави; Да! с чистотата на твоите ръце ще бъде избавен.
