Job 21
1 Then Job answered and said,
১তেতিয়া ইয়োবে পুনৰায় উত্তৰ কৰি ক’লে,
2 Hear diligently my speech; and let this be your consolations.
২তোমালোকে মন দি মোৰ কথা শুনা; আৰু এয়ে তোমালোকৰ শান্ত্বনা হওক।
3 Suffer me, and I also will speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on.
৩অলপ সহন কৰা, ময়ো কওঁ; মই কোৱাৰ পাছতো তুমি বিদ্ৰূপ কৰি থাকা।
4 As for me, is my complaint to man? and why should I not be impatient?
৪মই লোকৰ নামত অভিযোগ কৰিম নে? মই কিয় অসহিষ্ণু নহম?
5 Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.
৫তোমালোকে মোলৈ চাইছা আৰু আচৰিত মানিছা, আৰু নিজৰ মুখত হাত দিছা।
6 Even when I remember I am troubled, and horror taketh hold on my flesh.
৬যেতিয়া মই মোৰ কষ্টৰ বিষয়ে ভাবো, তেতিয়া মই বিহ্বল হওঁ, আৰু ত্ৰাসতে মোৰ শৰীৰ কঁপে।
7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, wax mighty in power?
৭দুষ্টবোৰ কিয় জীয়াই থাকে? কিয় বৃদ্ধ হয়, আৰু ক্ষমতাশালীও হয়?
8 Their seed is established with them in their sight, and their offspring before their eyes.
৮সিহঁতৰ বংশ সিহঁতৰ সন্মুখত সিহঁতৰ লগত থাকে; সিহঁতৰ সন্তান-সন্ততিবোৰ সিহঁতৰ চকুৰ আগত থিৰে থাকে।
9 Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.
৯সিহঁতৰ ঘৰবোৰ ভয় নোপোৱাকৈ শান্তিৰে থাকে, আৰু সিহঁতৰ ওপৰত ঈশ্বৰৰ দণ্ডৰ আঘাতো নপৰে।
10 Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.
১০সিহঁতৰ ষাঁড় গৰুবোৰে সংগম কৰিলে সেয়ে নিষ্ফল নহয়; সিহঁতৰ গাই জগে, বিনচ নকৰে।
11 They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.
১১সিহঁতে নিজ নিজ শিশুবোৰক মেৰৰ জাকৰ দৰে বাহিৰলৈ উলিয়াই দিয়ে; আৰু সিহঁতৰ সন্তানবোৰে নাচ-গান কৰে।
12 They sing to the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the pipe.
১২সিহঁতে খঞ্জৰী আৰু বীণা বজাই গান গায়, আৰু বাঁহীৰ শব্দত উল্লাস কৰে।
১৩সিহঁতে সুখেৰে নিজ নিজ দিন কটায়; পাছত এক নিমিষতে চিয়োললৈ নামি যায়। (Sheol h7585)
14 Yet they said unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.
১৪তথাপি সিহঁতে ঈশ্বৰক কয়, “তুমি আমাৰ পৰা দূৰ হোৱা; কিয়নো আমি তোমাৰ পথ জানিব নোখোজোঁ।
15 What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?
১৫সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনানো কোন যে, আমি তেওঁৰ সেৱা কৰিম? আৰু তেওঁৰ আগত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলেই আমাৰ বা কি লাভ হ’ব?
16 Lo, their prosperity is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
১৬চোৱা, সিহঁতৰ মঙ্গল সিহঁতৰ হাতৰ দ্বাৰাই নহয়; দুষ্টবোৰৰ মন্ত্ৰণা মোৰ পৰা দূৰ হওঁক।
17 How oft is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out? that their calamity cometh upon them? that [God] distributeth sorrows in his anger?
১৭দুষ্টবোৰৰ প্ৰদীপ নো কিমানবাৰ নুমুউৱা হয়? কিমানবাৰ নো সিহঁতৰ বিপদ সিহঁতলৈ ঘটে? কিমানবাৰ নো ঈশ্বৰে নিজ ক্ৰোধত ক্লেশ বিলাই দিয়ে?
18 That they are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away?
১৮কিমানবাৰ সিহঁত বতাহৰ আগত খেৰৰ নিচিনা, আৰু ধুমুহাই উড়াই নিয়া ঘুলাৰ নিচিনা হয়?
19 [Ye say], God layeth up his iniquity for his children. Let him recompense it unto himself, that he may know it.
১৯তোমালোকে কোৱা, “ঈশ্বৰে তাৰ সন্তানবোৰলৈ তাৰ অধৰ্ম সাঁচি থয়”। সেয়ে ভোগ কৰিবৰ কাৰণে তেওঁ তাকেই প্ৰতিফল দিয়ক।
20 Let his own eyes see his destruction, and let him drink of the wrath of the Almighty.
২০তাৰ নিজ চকুৱেই তাৰ সৰ্ব্বনাশ চাওক, আৰু সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাৰ ক্ৰোধ সিয়েই পান কৰক।
21 For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?
২১কিয়নো, তাৰ মাহ কেইটা ওৰ পৰিলে হ’ল, সি মৰাৰ পাছত, তাৰ ভাবি-বংশৰ লগত তাৰ কি সম্পৰ্ক?
22 Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high.
২২যি জনাই উৰ্দ্ধবাসীসকলৰো বিচাৰ কৰে, এনে জনা ঈশ্বৰকেই কোনোবাই জ্ঞান শিক্ষা দিব পাৰে নে?
23 One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet:
২৩সকলোৱে ভাবে শান্তিৰে আৰু নিশ্চিন্তে থাকিম, কোনোৱে সম্পূৰ্ণ বলত মৰে।
24 His breasts are full of milk, and the marrow of his bones is moistened.
২৪তাৰ গাখীৰৰ পাত্ৰবোৰ গাখীৰেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ, আৰু তাৰ হাড়বোৰৰ মগজু ৰসযুক্ত।
25 And another dieth in bitterness of soul, and never tasteth of good.
২৫আন কোনোৱে মনত তিতা লাগি মৰে; সি কেতিয়াও মঙ্গলৰ আস্বাদ নাপায়।
26 They lie down alike in the dust, and the worm covereth them.
২৬সিহঁত দুয়ো একেলগে ধুলিত শোৱে, আৰু পোকে সিহঁত দুয়োকো ঢাকে।
27 Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me.
২৭চোৱা, মই তোমালোকৰ মনৰ ভাব জানিছোঁ; আৰু মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে অন্যায়কৈ যিবোৰ মন্ত্ৰণা কৰিছা, সেইবোৰকো মই জানিছোঁ।
28 For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?
২৮কিয়নো তোমালোকে কৈছা, “সেই ডাঙৰীয়াৰ ঘৰ ক’ত? আৰু সেই দুৰ্জনবোৰে বাস কৰা তম্বুটো ক’ত?
29 Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens?
২৯তোমালোকে পথিকবিলাকক সোধা নাই নে?
30 That the evil man is reserved to the day of calamity? that they are led forth to the day of wrath?
৩০দুষ্টই বিপদৰ দিনত ৰক্ষা পায়, আৰু ক্ৰোধৰ দিনত তাক আঁতৰাই নিয়া হয়, এই বুলি তেওঁলোকে কোৱা বিবৰণ তোমালোকে নাজানা নে?
31 Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done?
৩১তাৰ আচৰণৰ কথা তাৰ মুখৰ আগত কোনে ক’ব? আৰু তাৰ কৰ্মৰ প্ৰতিফল তাক কোনে দিব?
32 Yet shall he be borne to the grave, and shall keep watch over the tomb.
৩২তথাপি তাক মৈদামলৈ নিয়া হ’ব, আৰু লোকে তাৰ মৈদামত পৰ দি থাকিব।
33 The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and all men shall draw after him, as there were innumerable before him.
৩৩আৰু উপত্যকাৰ চপৰাবোৰ তালৈ লঘু যেন বোধ হব; যেনেকৈ তাৰ আগেয়ে অলেখ মানুহ গৈছিল, তেনেকৈ তাৰ পাছতো সকলো মানুহ যাব।
34 How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth only falsehood?
৩৪তেন্তে তোমালোকে কেনে অনৰ্থক শান্ত্বনা দিছা! তোমালোকৰ উত্তৰবোৰ কেৱল মিছাহে।”
