Job 19
1 Then Job answered and said,
ヨブこたへて曰く
2 How long will ye vex my soul and break me in pieces with words?
汝ら我心をなやまし 言語をもて我を打くだくこと何時までぞや
3 These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye deal hardly with me.
なんぢら已に十次も我を辱しめ我を惡く待ひてなほ愧るところ無し
4 And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
假令われ眞に過ちたらんもその過は我の身に止れり
5 If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:
なんぢら眞に我に向ひて誇り我身に羞べき行爲ありと證するならば
6 Know now that God hath subverted me [in my cause], and hath compassed me with his net.
神われを虐げその網羅をもて我を包みたまへりと知るべし
7 Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry for help, but there is no judgment.
我虐げらるると叫べども答なく 呼はり求むれども審理なし
8 He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and hath set darkness in my paths.
彼わが路の周圍に垣を結めぐらして逾る能はざらしめ 我が行く途に黑暗を蒙むらしめ
9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
わが光榮を褫ぎ我冠冕を首より奪ひ
10 He hath broken me down on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he plucked up like a tree.
四方より我を毀ちて失しめ 我望を樹のごとくに根より拔き
11 He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as [one of] his adversaries.
我にむかひて震怒を燃し 我を敵の一人と見たまへり
12 His troops come on together, and cast up their way against me, and encamp round about my tent.
その軍旅ひとしく進み途を高くして我に攻寄せ わが天幕の周圍に陣を張り
13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are wholly estranged from me.
彼わが兄弟等をして遠くわれを離れしめたまへり 我を知る人々は全く我に疎くなりぬ
14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
わが親戚は往來を休め わが朋友はわれを忘れ
15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
わが家に寄寓る者およびわが婢等は我を見て外人のごとくす 我かれらの前にては異國人のごとし
16 I call unto my servant, and he giveth me no answer, [though] I entreat him with my mouth.
われわが僕を喚どもこたへず 我口をもて彼に請はざるを得ざるなり
17 My breath is strange to my wife, and my supplication to the children of my [mother’s] womb.
わが氣息はわが妻に厭はれ わが臭氣はわが同胎の子等に嫌はる
18 Even young children despise me; if I arise, they speak against me.
童子等さへも我を侮どり 我起あがれば即ち我を嘲ける
19 All my inward friends abhor me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
わが親しき友われを惡みわが愛したる人々ひるがへりてわが敵となれり
20 My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
わが骨はわが皮と肉とに貼り 我は僅に齒の皮を全うして逃れしのみ
21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
わが友よ汝等われを恤れめ 我を恤れめ 神の手われを撃り
22 Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
汝らなにとて神のごとくして我を攻め わが肉に饜ことなきや
23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were inscribed in a book!
望むらくは我言の書留られんことを 望むらくは我言書に記されんことを
24 That with an iron pen and lead they were graven in the rock for ever!
望むらくは鐡の筆と鉛とをもて之を永く磐石に鐫つけおかんことを
25 But I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand up at the last upon the earth:
われ知る我を贖ふ者は活く 後の日に彼かならず地の上に立ん
26 And after my skin hath been thus destroyed, yet from my flesh shall I see God:
わがこの皮この身の朽はてん後 われ肉を離れて神を見ん
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another. My reins are consumed within me.
我みづから彼を見たてまつらん 我目かれを見んに識らぬ者のごとくならじ 我が心これを望みて焦る
28 If ye say, How we will persecute him! seeing that the root of the matter is found in me;
なんぢら若われら如何に彼を攻んかと言ひ また事の根われに在りと言ば
29 Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
劍を懼れよ 忿怒は劍の罰をきたらす 斯なんぢら遂に審判のあるを知ん
