< Job 18 >

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
Na Bildad el fahk,
2 How long will ye lay snares for words? consider, and afterwards we will speak.
“Job, ku kain in mwet se kom an tiana ku in misla? Kom fin tuiwin ac lohng ma kut fahk uh, kut ac ku in sramsram nu sum.
3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, [and] are become unclean in your sight?
Mea sis kom nunku mu kut lalfon oana cow uh?
4 Thou that tearest thyself in thine anger, shall the earth be forsaken for thee? or shall the rock be removed out of its place?
Kom sifacna akkeokye kom ke kasrkusrak lom an. Mea, ku in wanginla mwet fin faclu kom fin kasrkusrak? Mea, God Elan mokle eol uh in tuh akinsewowoye kom?
5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
“Kalem lun mwet koluk uh ac nuna kunlana; Firir kac uh ac fah tia ku in sifil kalem.
6 The light shall be dark in his tent, and his lamp above him shall be put out.
Lam in lohm nuknuk sel uh ac fah lohsrla.
7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
Meet, el fahsr ku na, a inge el fahsr tukulkul; Kas in luti lal sifacna, oru el ikori.
8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon the toils.
El fahsryang nu in sie nwek, ac nial sremla;
9 A gin shall take [him] by the heel, [and] a snare shall lay hold on him.
Sie sruhf srumasrla kapinnial ac sruokilya.
10 A noose is hid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
Sie sruhf wikla oanna infohk uh; Sie pac sruhf uh oakwuki ke acn el fahsr we.
11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall chase him at his heels.
Mwe aksangeng apnulla yen nukewa; Ac welul yen nukewa el fahsr we.
12 His strength shall be hunger-bitten and calamity shall be ready for his halting.
Meet el kasrup, a inge el masrinsral; Mwe ongoiya oanna siskal soanel.
13 It shall devour the members of his body, [yea], the firstborn of death shall devour his members.
Sie mas na upa su ku in unilya kanglana manol, Ac kulweya paol ac nial.
14 He shall be rooted out of his tent wherein he trusteth; and he shall be brought to the king of terrors.
Amala el liki lohm nuknuk su el tuh muta insewowo loac, Ac kokola el nu ye mutun Tokosra lun Misa.
15 There shall dwell in his tent that which is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
Inge kutena mwet ku in utyak ac muta in lohm nuknuk sel — Tukun aknasnasyeyukla ke sulphur!
16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
Okah ac lah kacl uh uli ac paola.
17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
El tila pwengpeng in acn sel, oayapa in acn nukewa saya! Wangin mwet sifilpa esamul.
18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
El ac fah lisyukla liki facl sin mwet moul, Ac ukohkyak el liki kalem nu ke lohsr uh.
19 He shall have neither son nor son’s son among his people, nor any remaining where he sojourned.
Wangin fwilin tulik natul, nufonna misa.
20 They that come after shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
Mwet nukewa in acn kutulap lac nwe roto su lohng pweng kacl Elos sangeng ac rarrar.
21 Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
Pa inge saflaiyen moul lun mwet koluk uh. Pa inge ma ac sikyak nu sin mwet su tia lulalfongi ke God.”
