Jeremiah 7
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
Слово, еже бысть ко Иеремии от Господа, глаголющее:
2 Stand in the gate of the LORD’S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.
стани во вратех дому Господня и проповеждь тамо слово то и глаголи: слышите слово Господне, вся Иудеа, ходящии сквозе врата сия, да поклонитеся Господу:
3 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
сия глаголет Господь Сил, Бог Израилев: исправити пути вашя и начинания ваша, и вселю вы на месте сем.
4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, are these.
Не надейтеся на себе во словесех лживых, понеже весьма не упользуют вас, глаголюще: храм Господень, храм Господень, храм Господень есть.
5 For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;
Яко аще исправляюще исправите пути ваша и умышления ваша, и творяще сотворите суд посреде мужа и посреде искренняго его,
6 if ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your own hurt:
и пришелцу и сиру и вдовице не сотворите насилия, и крове неповинныя не излиете на месте сем, и вслед богов чуждих не пойдете на зло вам,
7 then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even for evermore.
вселю вас на месте сем, в земли, юже дах отцем вашым от века даже и до века.
8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
Аще же вы надеетеся на словеса лживая, отюнудуже не будет вам пользы,
9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye have not known,
и крадете и убиваете, и блудствуете и кленетеся лживо, и жрете Ваалу и ходите вслед богов чуждих, ихже не весте, яко во зло вам суть,
10 and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered; that ye may do all these abominations.
и приидосте и стасте предо Мною в дому сем, в немже призвано есть имя Мое, и рекли есте: удалихомся, еже не творити вся мерзости сия:
11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it, saith the LORD.
еда вертеп разбойником есть дом Мой, в немже призвася имя Мое тамо во очию вашею? И се, Аз видех, глаголет Господь.
12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
Сего ради идите к месту Моему, еже в Силоме, идеже вселих имя Мое от начала, и видите, что сотворих ему лукавств ради людий Моих Израиля.
13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not:
И ныне, понеже сотвористе вся дела сия, рече Господь, и глаголах к вам рано востающь и глаголющь, и не услышасте Мене, и звах вас, и не отвещасте:
14 therefore will I do unto the house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
убо и Аз сотворю дому сему, в немже призвано есть имя Мое, на негоже вы уповасте, и месту, еже дах вам и отцем вашым, якоже сотворих Силому.
15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
И отвергу вас от лица Моего, якоже отвергох всю братию вашу, все семя Ефремово.
16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
Ты же не молися о людех сих и не проси еже помилованым быти им, и не моли, ниже приступай ко Мне о них, яко не услышу тя.
17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
Еда не видиши, что сии творят во градех Иудиных и на путех Иерусалимских?
18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
Сынове их собирают дрова, и отцы их зажигают огнь, и жены их месят муку, да сотворят опресноки воинству небесному, и возлияша возлияния богом чуждим, да прогневают Мя.
19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD; [do they] not [provoke] themselves, to the confusion of their own faces?
Мене ли тии прогневляют? Глаголет Господь: еда не себе самих? Да постыдятся лица их.
20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.
Сего ради тако глаголет Господь: се, гнев и ярость Моя лиется на место сие и на люди, и на скоты и на всяко древо страны их и на плоды земныя, и возжжется и не угаснет.
21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Add your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat ye flesh.
Сия глаголет Господь Сил, Бог Израилев: всесожжения ваша соберите со жертвами вашими и изядите мяса:
22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
яко не глаголах ко отцем вашым и не заповедах им в день, в оньже изведох их от земли Египетския, о всесожжениих и жертвах,
23 but this thing I commanded them, saying, Hearken unto my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.
но (токмо) слово сие заповедах им, рекий: услышите глас Мой, и буду вам в Бога, и вы будете Мне в люди, и ходите во всех путех Моих, в нихже повелех вам, да благо будет вам.
24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in [their own] counsels [and] in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.
И не услышаша Мене, и не внят ухо их: но поидоша в похотех и стропотстве сердца своего лукаваго, и сотворишася на задняя, а не на предняя,
25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day, I have sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
от дне, в оньже изыдоша отцы их от земли Египетския, и даже до дне сего: и послах к вам вся рабы Моя пророки, в день и рано востая и посылая:
26 yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff: they did worse than their fathers.
и не услышаша Мя, ни приклониша ухо свое, но ожесточиша выю свою паче отец своих.
27 And thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
И речеши к ним вся словеса сия, и не услышат тя, и воззовеши их, и не отвещают тебе.
28 And thou shalt say unto them, This is the nation that hath not hearkened to the voice of the LORD their God, nor received instruction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.
И речеши к ним: сей язык, иже не послуша гласа Господа Бога своего, ни восприят наказания: погибе вера и отята есть от уст их.
29 Cut off thine hair, [O Jerusalem], and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
Остризи главу твою и отметни, и восприими во устне рыдание, яко отверже Господь и отрину род творяй сия.
30 For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.
Понеже сотвориша сынове Иудины лукавое во очию Моею, рече Господь: поставиша мерзости своя в дому, в немже призвано есть имя Мое, да осквернят его,
31 And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded not, neither came it into my mind.
и создаша требище Тафефу, еже есть во юдоли сына Енномля, да сожигают сыны своя и дщери своя огнем, егоже не повелех им, ниже помыслих в сердцы Моем:
32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Topheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter: for they shall bury in Topheth, till there be no place [to bury].
сего ради се, дние грядут, глаголет Господь, и не рекут ктому: требище Тафефово и юдоль сына Енномля, но юдоль закланых: и погребутся во Тафефе, занеже несть места.
33 And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.
И будут трупие людий сих во снедь птицам небесным и зверем земным, и не будет отгоняющаго.
34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride: for the land shall become a waste.
И упраздню от градов Иудиных и от путий Иерусалимлих глас радующихся и глас веселящихся, глас жениха и глас невесты, во опустении бо будет вся земля.
