Jeremiah 43
1 And it came to pass that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, wherewith the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
ヱレミヤ諸の民にむかひて其神ヱホバの言を盡く宣べその神ヱホバが己を遣して言しめたまへる其諸の言を宣をはりし時
2 then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Ye shall not go into Egypt to sojourn there:
ホシャヤの子アザリヤ、カレヤの子ヨハナンおよび驕る人皆ヱレミヤに語りていひけるは汝は謊をいふ我らの神ヱホバはエジプトにゆきて彼處に住む勿れと汝をつかはして云せたまはざるなり
3 but Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captives to Babylon.
ネリヤの子バルク汝を唆して我らに逆はしむ是我らをカルデヤ人の手に付して殺さしめバビロンに移さしめん爲なり
4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah.
斯カレヤの子ヨハナンと軍勢の長等および民皆ヱホバの聲に遵はずしてユダの地に住ことをせざりき
5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all the nations whither they had been driven to sojourn in the land of Judah;
斯てカレヤの子ヨハナンと軍勢の長等はユダに遺れる者即ちその逐やられし國々よりユダの地に住んとて皈りし者
6 the men, and the women, and the children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah;
男女嬰孩王の女たちおよび凡て侍衞の長ネブザラダンがシヤパンの子なるアヒカムの子ゲダリヤに付し置し者並に預言者ヱレミヤとネリヤの子バルクを取て
7 and they came into the land of Egypt; for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: and they came even to Tahpanhes.
エジプトの地に至れり彼ら斯ヱホバの聲に遵はざりき而して遂にタパネスに至れり
8 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
ヱホバの言タパネスにてヱレミヤに臨みていふ
9 Take great stones in thine hand, and hide them in mortar in the brickwork, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
汝大なる石を手に取りユダの人々の目の前にてこれをタパネスに在るパロの室の入口の旁なる磚窰の泥土の中に藏して
10 and say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
彼らにいへ萬軍のヱホバ、イスラエルの神かくいひたまふ視よわれ使者を遣はしてわが僕なるバビロンの王ネブカデネザルを召きその位をこの藏したる石の上に置しめん彼錦繡をその上に敷べし
11 And he shall come, and shall smite the land of Egypt; such as are for death [shall be given] to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword.
かれ來りてエジプトの地を撃ち死に定まれる者を死しめ虜に定まれる者を虜にし劍に定まれる者を劍にかけん
12 And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
われエジプトの諸神の室に火を燃さんネブカデネザル之を焚きかれらを虜にせん而して羊を牧ふ者のその身に衣を纒ふがごとくエジプトの地をその身に纒はん彼安然に其處をさるべし
13 He shall also break the pillars of Beth-shemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of Egypt shall he burn with fire.
彼はエジプトの地のベテシメシの偶像を毀ち火をもてエジプト人の諸神の室を焚べし
