James 5
1 Go to now, ye rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you.
Bawimang he atuh na ngai ua! Nami khana pha law khai kyühksea phäh ngpyang lü kyap ua!
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.
Nami bawimangnak cän thu uih u lü nami suisake pi mkhya naw jah cawn ve.
3 Your gold and your silver are rusted; and their rust shall be for a testimony against you, and shall eat your flesh as fire. Ye have laid up your treasure in the last days.
Nami ngui xüie pi mthiek kai lü acun hin saksia kya lü meia kba nami pumsa eiawki ti cun mdanki ni. Nangmi naw akpäihnaka mhnüpe üng khawhthem nami jah mkhämkie ni.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who mowed your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth out: and the cries of them that reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
Nami loa khüikie cän ami ngkhyeng am jah pe uki. Ami pyensak cän jah ngaih pe ua! Nami tuncang kbämkiea ngpyang kthai cun Bawipa Kdäm Säih Pamhnama nghnga pha vaiki ni.
5 Ye have lived delicately on the earth, and taken your pleasure; ye have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter.
Khawmdeka nami xünsak cän mlümlawknak ja xenak am beki ni. Yawhtihnaka mhnüpa kba nami mlung nami phubesakie ni.
6 Ye have condemned, ye have killed the righteous [one]; he doth not resist you.
Am mkhye am vekia khyange cän naw am ami jah mkhyawha kya lü jah mkatei lü nami jah hnim u ni.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and latter rain.
Ka püie, Bawipa a law veia nami mlung msaü ua. Lai kbie cän naw, ihlawka ami lai üngka tuncang k'äiheikie ti cän jah bükteng ua. Kphyawi khaw ah ja acuna hnua ah law khai khaw ah vai cun ami mlungmsaü lü k'äiheikie ni.
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Nangmi pi nami mlungmsaü ua. Nami äpeinak cän mhlün ua, isetiakyaküng, Bawipaa a lawnak be vai mhnüp cän cäh lawkia kyase ni.
9 Murmur not, brethren, one against another, that ye be not judged: behold, the judge standeth before the doors.
Ka püie, Pamhnam naw ngthu käh a ning jah mkhyah vai mat ja mat käh ngkhyaei ua. Ngthumkhyah khai cun cäh lü po law hlühnühki ni.
10 Take, brethren, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spake in the name of the Lord.
Ka püie, Bawipaa ngming pyenkie sahmae cän jah süm ua. Khuikha ami sawng üng mlungmsaü lü ami cunei cän jah ngcuhngkih na ua.
11 Behold, we call them blessed which endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful.
Amimi jekie mi jah tinak, isetiakyaküng, ami cuneia phäh ni. Jawpaa mlungmsaü cän mi ngja pängkie. Akpäihnaka ania phäh Bawipa naw ihawkba a petmsawt ti cun nami ksingki. Bawipa cun Mpyeneinak ja hniphnawinak am beki ni.
12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by the heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath: but let your yea be yea, and your nay, nay; that ye fall not under judgment.
Ka püie, acun käna khyütam nami pawh üng käh ng'yünce ua. Khankhaw ja khawmdek ja akce pyen lüpi käh ng'yünce ua. “Ä” vai cän ä lü “Kaa” vai cän kaa nami ti üng Pamhnama ngthumkhyahnaka kea am pha uki.
13 Is any among you suffering? let him pray. Is any cheerful? let him sing praise.
Akhak sawngki nangmi üng veki aw. Ktaiyü u se. Jekyaiki ta nangmi üng veki aw. Mhlünmtainak ng’äi mcuk u se.
14 Is any among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Am myaki nangmi üng veki aw. Sangcim ngvaie jah khü u lü Bawipaa ngming am olip si jut lü ktaiyü pet khaie ni.
15 and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.
Jumeinak am ktaiyünak naw am myaki mdaw be lü; Bawipa naw jah mdaw be lü, mkhye ami pawh pi jah mhlät pet khai ni.
16 Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.
Nami mya be vaia nami mkhye mat ja mat phyeh lü mat ja mat ktaiyü pet ua. Khyang kdawa ktaiyünak cun johitmahki ni.
17 Elijah was a man of like passions with us, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain; and it rained not on the earth for three years and six months.
Elijah cun mimia kba nghngicim ni. Khaw käh ah law khaia ktaiyü lü khawmdeka kum kthum ja khya khyuk khaw am ah law.
18 And he prayed again; and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Ktaiyü be tü se khankhaw üngkhyüh khaw ah law be lü khawmdeka tuncange daw law beki.
19 My brethren, if any among you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Ka püie, nangmi üngka mat mat ngthungtak üngkhyüh akthuka a pha üng mat mat naw law püi be ua,
20 let him know, that he which converteth a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.
hin süm ua: Mkhyekia khyang lam a hmenak üngkhyüh nglat law besaki naw mkhyekia Ngmüimkhya cän thihnak üngkhyüh küikyan lü mkhyenak khawhah mhläteinaka mawng pi law püiki ni.
