James 2
1 My brethren, hold not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, [the Lord] of glory, with respect of persons.
ហេ មម ភ្រាតរះ, យូយម៑ អស្មាកំ តេជស្វិនះ ប្រភោ រ្យីឝុខ្រីឞ្ដស្យ ធម៌្មំ មុខាបេក្ឞយា ន ធារយត។
2 For if there come into your synagogue a man with a gold ring, in fine clothing, and there come in also a poor man in vile clothing;
យតោ យុឞ្មាកំ សភាយាំ ស្វណ៌ាង្គុរីយកយុក្តេ ភ្រាជិឞ្ណុបរិច្ឆទេ បុរុឞេ ប្រវិឞ្ដេ មលិនវស្ត្រេ កស្មិំឝ្ចិទ៑ ទរិទ្រេៜបិ ប្រវិឞ្ដេ
3 and ye have regard to him that weareth the fine clothing, and say, Sit thou here in a good place; and ye say to the poor man, Stand thou there, or sit under my footstool;
យូយំ យទិ តំ ភ្រាជិឞ្ណុបរិច្ឆទវសានំ ជនំ និរីក្ឞ្យ វទេត ភវាន៑ អត្រោត្តមស្ថាន ឧបវិឝត្វិតិ កិញ្ច តំ ទរិទ្រំ យទិ វទេត ត្វម៑ អមុស្មិន៑ ស្ថានេ តិឞ្ឋ យទ្វាត្រ មម បាទបីឋ ឧបវិឝេតិ,
4 are ye not divided in your own mind, and become judges with evil thoughts?
តហ៌ិ មនះសុ វិឝេឞ្យ យូយំ កិំ កុតក៌ៃះ កុវិចារកា ន ភវថ?
5 Hearken, my beloved brethren; did not God choose them that are poor as to the world [to be] rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?
ហេ មម ប្រិយភ្រាតរះ, ឝ្ឫណុត, សំសារេ យេ ទរិទ្រាស្តាន៑ ឦឝ្វរោ វិឝ្វាសេន ធនិនះ ស្វប្រេមការិភ្យឝ្ច ប្រតិឝ្រុតស្យ រាជ្យស្យាធិការិណះ កត៌្តុំ កិំ ន វរីតវាន៑? កិន្តុ ទរិទ្រោ យុឞ្មាភិរវជ្ញាយតេ។
6 But ye have dishonoured the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you, and themselves drag you before the judgment-seats?
ធនវន្ត ឯវ កិំ យុឞ្មាន៑ នោបទ្រវន្តិ ពលាច្ច វិចារាសនានាំ សមីបំ ន នយន្តិ?
7 Do not they blaspheme the honourable name by the which ye are called?
យុឞ្មទុបរិ បរិកីត៌្តិតំ បរមំ នាម កិំ តៃរេវ ន និន្ទ្យតេ?
8 Howbeit if ye fulfill the royal law, according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
កិញ្ច ត្វំ ស្វសមីបវាសិនិ ស្វាត្មវត៑ ប្រីយស្វ, ឯតច្ឆាស្ត្រីយវចនានុសារតោ យទិ យូយំ រាជកីយវ្យវស្ថាំ បាលយថ តហ៌ិ ភទ្រំ កុរុថ។
9 but if ye have respect of persons, ye commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.
យទិ ច មុខាបេក្ឞាំ កុរុថ តហ៌ិ បាបម៑ អាចរថ វ្យវស្ថយា ចាជ្ញាលង្ឃិន ឥវ ទូឞ្យធ្វេ។
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one [point], he is become guilty of all.
យតោ យះ កឝ្ចិត៑ ក្ឫត្ស្នាំ វ្យវស្ថាំ បាលយតិ ស យទ្យេកស្មិន៑ វិធៅ ស្ខលតិ តហ៌ិ សវ៌្វេឞាម៑ អបរាធី ភវតិ។
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
យតោ ហេតោស្ត្វំ បរទារាន៑ មា គច្ឆេតិ យះ កថិតវាន៑ ស ឯវ នរហត្យាំ មា កុយ៌្យា ឥត្យបិ កថិតវាន៑ តស្មាត៑ ត្វំ បរទារាន៑ ន គត្វា យទិ នរហត្យាំ ករោឞិ តហ៌ិ វ្យវស្ថាលង្ឃី ភវសិ។
12 So speak ye, and so do, as men that are to be judged by a law of liberty.
មុក្តេ រ្វ្យវស្ថាតោ យេឞាំ វិចារេណ ភវិតវ្យំ តាទ្ឫឝា លោកា ឥវ យូយំ កថាំ កថយត កម៌្ម កុរុត ច។
13 For judgment [is] without mercy to him that hath shewed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgment.
យោ ទយាំ នាចរតិ តស្យ វិចារោ និទ៌្ទយេន ការិឞ្យតេ, កិន្តុ ទយា វិចារម៑ អភិភវិឞ្យតិ។
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but have not works? can that faith save him?
ហេ មម ភ្រាតរះ, មម ប្រត្យយោៜស្តីតិ យះ កថយតិ តស្យ កម៌្មាណិ យទិ ន វិទ្យន្ត តហ៌ិ តេន កិំ ផលំ? តេន ប្រត្យយេន កិំ តស្យ បរិត្រាណំ ភវិតុំ ឝក្នោតិ?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and in lack of daily food,
កេឞុចិទ៑ ភ្រាត្ឫឞុ ភគិនីឞុ វា វសនហីនេឞុ ប្រាត្យហិកាហារហីនេឞុ ច សត្សុ យុឞ្មាកំ កោៜបិ តេភ្យះ ឝរីរាត៌្ហំ ប្រយោជនីយានិ ទ្រវ្យាណិ ន ទត្វា យទិ តាន៑ វទេត៑,
16 and one of you say unto them, Go in peace, be ye warmed and filled; and yet ye give them not the things needful to the body; what doth it profit?
យូយំ សកុឝលំ គត្វោឞ្ណគាត្រា ភវត ត្ឫប្យត ចេតិ តហ៌្យេតេន កិំ ផលំ?
17 Even so faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself.
តទ្វត៑ ប្រត្យយោ យទិ កម៌្មភិ រ្យុក្តោ ន ភវេត៑ តហ៌្យេកាកិត្វាត៑ ម្ឫត ឯវាស្តេ។
18 Yea, a man will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith apart from [thy] works, and I by my works will shew thee [my] faith.
កិញ្ច កឝ្ចិទ៑ ឥទំ វទិឞ្យតិ តវ ប្រត្យយោ វិទ្យតេ មម ច កម៌្មាណិ វិទ្យន្តេ, ត្វំ កម៌្មហីនំ ស្វប្រត្យយំ មាំ ទឝ៌យ តហ៌្យហមបិ មត្កម៌្មភ្យះ ស្វប្រត្យយំ ត្វាំ ទឝ៌យិឞ្យាមិ។
19 Thou believest that God is one; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and shudder.
ឯក ឦឝ្វរោ ៜស្តីតិ ត្វំ ប្រត្យេឞិ។ ភទ្រំ ករោឞិ។ ភូតា អបិ តត៑ ប្រតិយន្តិ កម្បន្តេ ច។
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?
កិន្តុ ហេ និព៌្ពោធមានវ, កម៌្មហីនះ ប្រត្យយោ ម្ឫត ឯវាស្ត្យេតទ៑ អវគន្តុំ កិម៑ ឥច្ឆសិ?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar?
អស្មាកំ បូវ៌្វបុរុឞោ យ ឥព្រាហីម៑ ស្វបុត្រម៑ ឥស្ហាកំ យជ្ញវេទ្យាម៑ ឧត្ស្ឫឞ្ដវាន៑ ស កិំ កម៌្មភ្យោ ន សបុណ្យីក្ឫតះ?
22 Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect;
ប្រត្យយេ តស្យ កម៌្មណាំ សហការិណិ ជាតេ កម៌្មភិះ ប្រត្យយះ សិទ្ធោ ៜភវត៑ តត៑ កិំ បឝ្យសិ?
23 and the scripture was fulfilled which saith, And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness; and he was called the friend of God.
ឥត្ថញ្ចេទំ ឝាស្ត្រីយវចនំ សផលម៑ អភវត៑, ឥព្រាហីម៑ បរមេឝ្វរេ វិឝ្វសិតវាន៑ តច្ច តស្យ បុណ្យាយាគណ្យត ស ចេឝ្វរស្យ មិត្រ ឥតិ នាម លព្ធវាន៑។
24 Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith.
បឝ្យត មានវះ កម៌្មភ្យះ សបុណ្យីក្រិយតេ ន ចៃកាកិនា ប្រត្យយេន។
25 And in like manner was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way?
តទ្វទ៑ យា រាហព្នាមិកា វារាង្គនា ចារាន៑ អនុគ្ឫហ្យាបរេណ មាគ៌េណ វិសសជ៌ សាបិ កិំ កម៌្មភ្យោ ន សបុណ្យីក្ឫតា?
26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.
អតឯវាត្មហីនោ ទេហោ យថា ម្ឫតោៜស្តិ តថៃវ កម៌្មហីនះ ប្រត្យយោៜបិ ម្ឫតោៜស្តិ។
