< Isaiah 66 >

1 Thus saith the LORD; The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest?
Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu, “Eluigwe bụ ocheeze m, ụwa bụkwa ebe mgbakwasị ụkwụ m. Ọ bụ ụdị ụlọ gịnị ka ị ga-ewuru m? Ebee ka ebe izuike m ga-adị?”
2 For all these things hath mine hand made, and so all these things came to be, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and that trembleth at my word.
Ọ bụghị aka m mere ihe ndị a niile, mee ka ha ji dịrị? Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara. “Ma olee ndị ihe ha na-atọ m ụtọ, ọ bụ ndị ahụ nwere obi umeala, ndị na-adịghị ebuli onwe ha elu, ndị na-amakwa jijiji nʼokwu m.
3 He that killeth an ox is as he that slayeth a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as he that breaketh a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, [as he that offereth] swine’s blood; he that burneth frankincense, as he that blesseth an idol: yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations;
Ma onye ọbụla nke na-achụ aja ehi dịka nwoke na-egbu mmadụ, onye ọbụla jikwa nwa atụrụ achụ aja dị ka onye na-agbaji nkịta olu, onye ọbụla na-achụ aja mkpụrụ ọka dị ka onye na-eche ọbara ezi, otu a kwa, onye ọbụla na-esure ụda na-esi isi ụtọ nke ncheta dị ka onye na-efe arụsị. Ha ahọpụtarala onwe ha ụzọ nke ha, ha na-enwekwa mmasị nʼihe arụ ha niile.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did that which was evil in mine eyes, and chose that wherein I delighted not.
5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word: Your brethren that hate you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, have said, Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy; but they shall be ashamed.
Nụrụnụ okwu Onyenwe anyị, unu ndị na-ama jijiji nʼokwu ya, “Ụmụnna unu, ndị kpọrọ unu asị, ndị chụpụkwara unu nʼihi aha m, ekwuola sị, ‘Ka a sọpụrụ Onyenwe anyị! Ka anyị lee ụdị ọṅụ ga-abụ nke unu!’ Ma a ga-etinye ha nʼọnọdụ ihere.
6 A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
“Tupu ime amalite ime ya, ọ mụpụtalarị nwa ya. Tupu ihe mgbu ya ebido, ọ mụpụtala nwa nwoke.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? shall a nation be brought forth at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Onye jiri ntị ya nụtụ ihe dị otu a mbụ? Onye kwa ji anya ya hụ ihe dị otu a? A pụrụ ịmụpụta otu mba nʼotu ụbọchị? Ka e nwere ike ime ka otu obodo malite ịdị nʼotu ntabi anya?
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I that cause to bring forth shut [the womb]? saith thy God.
Mụ onwe m, m ga-eme ka nwa rute nʼoge ọmụmụ gharakwa ime ka a mụọ ya?” ka Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu. “M ga-emechi akpanwa mgbe m na-eme ka a mụpụta ya?” ka Chineke gị jụrụ.
10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn over her:
“Soronụ Jerusalem ṅụrịa ọṅụ, soronụ ya nwee obi ụtọ, unu ndị niile hụrụ ya nʼanya; soronụ ya ṅụrịa ọṅụ nke ukwuu, unu ndị ruru ụjụ nʼihi ya.
11 that ye may suck and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
Nʼihi na ihe banyere Jerusalem ga-atọ unu ụtọ. Unu ga-aṅụjukwa ara nkasiobi ya afọ, ọ bụladị dịka nwantakịrị si enwe obi ụtọ mgbe ọ na-aṅụ ara nne ya nke na-agba nke ọma.”
12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream, and ye shall suck [thereof]; ye shall be borne upon the side, and shall be dandled upon the knees.
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
Dịka nne si akasị nwa ya obi, otu a ka m ga-esi kasịe unu obi. Ọ bụ nʼime Jerusalem ka a ga-akasị unu obi.”
14 And ye shall see [it], and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like the tender grass: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and he will have indignation against his enemies.
Mgbe ị hụrụ ihe ndị a, obi gị ga-aṅụrị ọṅụ, ịga awasa dịka ahịhịa ọhụrụ; a ga-emekwa ka aka Onyenwe anyị pụta ìhè nʼebe ndị ohu ya nọ, ma a ga-egosi ndị iro ya oke iwe ya.
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Nʼihi na lee, Onyenwe anyị ga-eji ọkụ bịa. Ụgbọala ya ga-adịkwa ka oke ifufe. Ọ ga-eji ọnụma gosi iwe ya, werekwa ọkụ na-enwu enwu baa mba.
16 For by fire will the LORD plead, and by his sword, with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves [to go] unto the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse; they shall come to an end together, saith the LORD.
“Ndị ahụ niile na-edo onwe ha nsọ, ndị na-eme onwe ha ka ha dị ọcha nʼihi ịbanye nʼubi a gbara ogige, ndị ahụ na-eso onye ahụ nọ nʼetiti ndị ahụ na-eri anụ ezi, na oke, na ihe ndị ọzọ ahụ niile rụrụ arụ, ga-ezute ọnwụ nke nọ na-eche ha niile.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri ya.
18 For I [know] their works and their thoughts: [the time] cometh, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and shall see my glory.
“Ma mụ onwe m, amaara m nke ọma ihe ha zubere ma meekwa, ana m abịa ịchịkọta mba niile na-asụ asụsụ dị iche iche. Ha niile ga-abịakwa hụ ebube m.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
“Aga m edokwa ihe ịrịbama nʼetiti ha, zipụkwa ndị fọdụrụ ndụ nʼetiti ha ka ha gaa nʼobodo Tashish, na Libiya, na Lidiya (ndị na-agba àkụ nʼụta nke ọma) na Tubal, na Griis. E, ha ga-eje na mba niile nke dị anya, nʼofe osimiri, ebe ndị bi nʼime ya na-anụbeghị ihe banyere ịdị ukwuu nke m, maọbụ hụ ebube m. 20 And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations for an offering unto the LORD, upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
Ha ga-akpọghachi ụmụnne unu niile site na mba niile, bịa nʼugwu nsọ m dị na Jerusalem, dịka onyinye a na-ewetara Onyenwe anyị. 21 And of them also will I take for priests [and] for Levites, saith the LORD.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
“Dịka eluigwe ọhụrụ na ụwa ọhụrụ ahụ nke m ga-eke ga-esi dịgide nʼihu m, otu a ka aha unu na agbụrụ unu ga-adịgide, ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Ọ ga-abụkwa na site nʼotu Ọnwa ọhụrụ ruo nke ọzọ, sitekwa nʼotu ụbọchị izuike ruo na nke ọzọ ya, anụ ahụ niile bụ mmadụ ga-abịa, daa, kpọọ isiala nʼihu m,” ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
“Ha ga-apụ, jee, lekwasị ozu ndị ahụ niile nwụrụ anwụ anya, bụ ndị ahụ niile nupuru isi megide m. Nʼihi na ikpuru ha agaghị anwụ anwụ, ọkụ a kwanyere agakwaghị anyụ anyụ. Ha ga-abụkwara mmadụ niile ihe na-asọ oyi.”
