< Isaiah 65 >

1 I AM inquired of by them that asked not [for me]; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
Mukama n’alyoka agamba nti, “Nze nnali mwetegefu okweyoleka eri abo abaali tebannoonya. Neeraga abo abaali tebannoonya. Eri eggwanga eryali litakoowoola linnya lyange nneyoleka gye bali ng’aŋŋamba nti, ‘Ndi wano, Ndi wano.’
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
Nagolola emikono gyange olunaku lwonna okutuusa obudde okuziba eri abantu abeewagguzze, abatambulira mu makubo amabi abagoberera entegeka ezaabwe ku bwabwe;
3 a people that provoketh me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense upon bricks;
abantu bulijjo abansomooza mu maaso gange gennyini nga bawaayo ebiweebwayo mu nnimiro ne bookera n’ebiweebwayo ku byoto eby’amatoffaali;
4 which sit among the graves, and lodge in the secret places; which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
abatuula mu malaalo ne bamalako ekiro kyonna mu bifo ebyekusifu, abalya ennyama y’embizzi, era n’amaseffuliya gaabwe gajjudde ennyama etali nnongoofu.
5 which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me, for I am holier than thou: these are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
Bagamba nti, ‘Beera wala, tojja kumpi nange, kubanga ndi mutuukirivu nnyo ggwe okunsaanira!’ Abantu bwe batyo mukka mu nnyindo zange, omuliro ogwaka olunaku lwonna.
6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, yea, I will recompense into their bosom,
“Laba kiwandiikiddwa mu maaso gange. Sijja kusirika naye nzija kusasula mu bujjuvu, nzija kubasasula bibatuukireko ddala;
7 your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I first measure their work into their bosom.
olw’ebibi byammwe byonna era n’olw’ebibi bya bakitammwe,” bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda. “Kubanga baayokera ebiweebwayo byabwe ku lusozi era ne bannyoomera ku busozi, ndibalira mu mikono gyabwe empeera yennyini enzijuvu ey’ebikolwa byabwe eby’edda.”
8 Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
Bw’atyo bw’ayogera Mukama: “Ng’omubisi bwe gusangibwa mu kirimba ky’emizabbibu abantu ne bagamba nti, ‘Togwonoona, gukyalimu akalungi,’ bwe ntyo bwe ndikibakolera olw’obulungi bw’abaweereza bange. Sijja kubasaanyaawo bonna.
9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
Ndiggya ezzadde okuva mu Yakobo era ne mu Yuda abo abalitwala ensozi zange; abantu bange abalonde balizigabana, era eyo abaweereza bange gye balibeera.
10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
Awo Saloni kiribeera ddundiro lya bisibo, era n’ekiwonvu kya Akoli kifo kya nte we zigalamira olw’abantu bange abannoonya.
11 But ye that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for Fortune, and that fill up mingled wine unto Destiny;
“Naye mmwe abava ku Mukama ne mwerabira olusozi lwange olutukuvu ne muteekerateekera emmeeza katonda wammwe, Mukisa, ne mujuliza katonda wammwe, Kusalawo, ebikopo eby’envinnyo,
12 I will destine you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but ye did that which was evil in mine eyes, and chose that wherein I delighted not.
ndibawaayo eri ekitala era mwenna mukutaamirire musalibwe, kubanga nabayita naye temwayitaba, nayogera naye temwampuliriza. Mwakola ebitasaana era ne musalawo okukola ebitansanyusa.”
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
Noolwekyo kino Mukama Ayinzabyonna ky’agamba: “Abaweereza bange bajja kulya, naye mmwe mujja kulumwa enjala, abaweereza bange bajja kunywa, naye mmwe mulumwe ennyonta; abaweereza bange bajja kujaguza, naye mmwe mukwatibwe ensonyi.
14 behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
Abaweereza bange bajja kuyimba olw’essanyu erinaaba mu mitima gyabwe, naye mmwe muli ba kukaaba olw’okulumwa okunaabeera mu mitima gyammwe era mukaabe olw’okulumwa emyoyo.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen, and the Lord GOD shall slay thee; and he shall call his servants by another name:
Ekikolimo kiryoke kibagwire, Nze Mukama Katonda ow’Eggye mbatte amannya gammwe geerabirwe, naye mpe amannya amaggya abo abaŋŋondera.
16 so that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
Kiryoke kibeere nti buli muntu ananoonya okufuna omukisa anaagunoonya kuva eri Katonda Ow’amazima buli anaalayiranga mu ggwanga anaalayiranga Katonda ow’amazima. Kubanga emitawaana egyayita gya kwerabirwa gikwekebwe okuva mu maaso gange.
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
“Laba nditonda eggulu eriggya n’ensi empya. Ebintu eby’edda tebijja kujjukirwa wadde okulowoozebwako mu mutima.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Naye musanyukire ekyo kye ntonda mujaguze emirembe n’emirembe, kubanga nditonda Yerusaalemi okuba essanyu n’abantu baamu okuba okujaguza.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Ndijaguza olwa Yerusaalemi era nsanyukire abantu bange; amaloboozi ag’okukaaba tegaliddayo kuwulirwamu.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old, and the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
“Teriddayo kuba mu kyo mwana muwere anaaberawo ennaku obunaku, oba omusajja omukulu ataamalengayo myaka gye; oyo alifiira ku myaka ekikumi alitwalibwa ng’omuvubuka obuvubuka. Oyo atalituusa kikumi abalibwe ng’eyakolimirwa.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
Balizimba ennyumba bazisulemu, balisimba emizabbibu balye ebibala byagyo.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
Tebalizimba nnyumba ate omulala agisulemu, tebalisimba ate omulala abirye. Kubanga emyaka gy’emiti nga bwe giba bwe gityo bwe giribeera emyaka gy’abantu bange. Abalonde bange balirwawo nga bawoomerwa emirimu gy’emikono gyabwe.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
Tebalikolera bwereere oba okuzaala abaana ab’okugwa mu katyabaga, kubanga balibeera abantu abaweebwa Mukama Katonda omukisa, bo awamu n’ab’enda yaabwe.
24 And it shall come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Nga tebanakoowoola ndibaddamu, nga bakyayogera bati mbaddemu.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
Omusege n’omwana gw’endiga biriire wamu, era empologoma erye omuddo ng’ennume, era ettaka libeere emmere y’omusota. Tewaliba kulumya wadde kuzikiriza ku lusozi lwange olutukuvu,” bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda.
