Hosea 8
1 [SET] the trumpet to thy mouth. As an eagle [he cometh] against the house of the LORD: because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
Тури тръбата на устата си! Той се впуща като орел против дома Господен, Защото нарушиха завета ми И престъпиха закона ми.
2 They shall cry unto me, My God, we Israel know thee.
Ще викат към мене: Боже мой, ние Израил те познаваме.
3 Israel hath cast off that which is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
Но понеже Израил отхвърли доброто, За това неприятелят ще го прогони.
4 They have set up kings, but not by me; they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
Те поставиха царе, но не чрез Мене; Назначиха началници, но без да ги призная Аз; От среброто си и от златото си направиха си идоли, Та да бъдат изтребени.
5 He hath cast off thy calf, O Samaria; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
Той е отхвърлил телето ти, Самарийо; Гневът ми пламна против тях; До кога не ще могат да се очистят?
6 For from Israel is even this; the workman made it, and it is no God: yea, the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
Защото телето наистина е от Израиля; Художник го е направил; то не е Бог; Да! Самарийско теле ще се разтроши.
7 For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: he hath no standing corn; the blade shall yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up.
Понеже посеяха вятър, за това ще пожънат вихрушка; Няма узряло жито; израсналото няма да даде брашно; И ако даде, чужденци ще го погълнат.
8 Israel is swallowed up: now are they among the nations as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
Израил биде погълнат; Сега той е между народите като негоден съд.
9 For they are gone up to Assyria, [like] a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.
Защото възлязоха при Асирийците като див и осамотен осел; Ефрем е наел любовници.
10 Yea, though they hire among the nations, now will I gather them; and they begin to be minished by reason of the burden of the king of princes.
И даже ако наемат любовници между народите, Аз сега ще ги събера против тях; И те ще почнат да намаляват Поради товара наложен от царя на князете.
11 Because Ephraim hath multiplied altars to sin, altars have been unto him to sin.
Понеже Ефрем издигна много жертвеници, за да греши, То жертвениците му станаха причина за грях.
12 Though I write for him my law in ten thousand [precepts], they are counted as a strange thing.
Написах му десетте хиляди правила на закона си; Но те се счетоха като чуждо нещо.
13 As for the sacrifices of mine offerings, they sacrifice flesh and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins; they shall return to Egypt.
В жертвите, които ми принася, Жертват месо и го ядат; Но Господ не ги приема; Сега ще си спомни беззаконието им, И ще накаже греховете им; Те ще се върнат в Египет.
14 For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the castles thereof.
Защото Израил е забравил Твореца си, и е построил палати, И Юда е съградил множество укрепени градове; Но Аз ще пратя огън върху градовете му, Та ще пояде палатите им.
