Ezekiel 6
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
১সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য আমার কাছে এল এবং বলল,
2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy unto them,
২মানুষের সন্তান, তুমি ইস্রায়েলের পর্বতদের দিকে মুখ রাখো এবং তাদের কাছে ভাববাণী বল।
3 and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD: Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
৩বল, ইস্রায়েলের পর্বতরা, প্রভু সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য শোনো। প্রভু সদাপ্রভু পর্বতদেরকে, পাহাড়দেরকে, জলপ্রবাহ ও উপত্যকাদেরকে এই কথা বলেন, দেখ, আমি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে এক তরোয়াল আনব এবং আমি তোমাদের উঁচু জায়গা ধ্বংস করব।
4 your altars shall become desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
৪তখন তোমাদের যজ্ঞবেদি ধ্বংস হবে এবং তোমাদের স্তম্ভগুলি ধ্বংস হবে এবং আমি তোমাদের মৃতদেরকে তাদের মূর্তিদের সামনে ফেলে দেব
5 And I will lay the carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
৫আমি ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের মৃতদেহ তাদের মূর্তিদের সামনে রাখব এবং তোমাদের হাড় তোমাদের যজ্ঞবেদির চারিদিকে ছড়াব।
6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your sun-images may be hewn down, and your works may be abolished.
৬তোমাদের বসবাসের সব জায়গায়, শহরগুলি বিধ্বস্ত হবে এবং উঁচু জায়গাগুলি ধ্বংস হবে, যেন তোমাদের যজ্ঞবেদিগুলি বিধ্বস্ত ও ধ্বংস হবে। তখন তারা ভেঙে যাবে ও অদৃশ্য হবে, তোমাদের স্তম্ভগুলি ভেঙে পড়বে এবং তোমাদের কাজগুলি মুছে যাবে।
7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
৭তোমাদের মধ্যে মৃতেরা পড়ে যাবে এবং তোমার জানবে যে আমিই সদাপ্রভু।
8 Yet will I leave a remnant, in that ye shall have some that escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
৮কিন্তু আমি তোমাকে অবশিষ্টের মধ্যে সংরক্ষিত রাখব এবং কিছু লোক থাকবে যারা জাতির মধ্যে থেকে তরোয়ালের থেকে সরে আসতে পারবে, তখন তোমার দেশের মধ্যে ছড়িয়ে পড়বে
9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, how that I have been broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
৯তারপর যারা পালিয়ে গিয়ে জাতিদের মধ্যে আমাকে মনে করবে যেখানে তারা বন্দি হবে, যা আমি তাদের ব্যভিচারী হৃদয়ের দ্বারা কষ্ট পেয়েছিলাম যা আমার থেকে সরে গেছে এবং তাদের চোখের দ্বারা যা তাদের মূর্তিদের অনুসরণে ব্যভিচার করেছে। তারপর তারা তাদের দুষ্টতার জন্য তাদের মুখে ঘৃণার কাজ দেখাবে যা তারা তাদের জঘন্য বিষয়ের সঙ্গে প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ আছে।
10 And they shall know that I am the LORD: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
১০তাতে তারা জানবে যে আমি সদাপ্রভু। এটা একটা কারণ ছিল যা আমি বলেছি আমি তাদের কাছে এই মন্দ বিষয় আনব।
11 Thus saith the Lord GOD: Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas! because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel: for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
১১প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই বলেন: তোমার হাতে তালি দাও এবং তুমি পায়ে পদদলিত কর! বল “আহা!” কারণ ইস্রায়েল কুলের সব মন্দ জঘন্য বিষয়! কারণ তারা তরোয়াল, দূর্ভিক্ষ এবং সংক্রামক মহামারীর দ্বারা পতন হবে।
12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
১২যে কেউ বহুদূরে সে মহামারীতে মারা যাবে এবং যে কেউ কাছে সে তরোয়ালের দ্বারা পড়ে যাবে। যারা অবশিষ্ট এবং বেঁচে আছে তারা দূর্ভিক্ষে দ্বারা মারা যাবে; এই ভাবে আমি আমার ক্রোধ তাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাধন করব।
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
১৩তখন তোমার জানতে পারবে যে আমি সদাপ্রভু, যখন তাদের মৃতদেহ তোমাদের মধ্যে, তাদের মূর্তিগুলি তাদের যজ্ঞবেদির চারিদিকে প্রত্যেক উঁচু পর্বতের ওপরে, সব পর্বতের শিখরের ওপরে এবং সব সমৃদ্ধ গাছ এবং মোটা ওক গাছের তলায় সেই জায়গায় যেখানে তারা তাদের সব মূর্তিদের কাছে সুগন্ধি উত্সর্গ করত!
14 And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Diblah, throughout all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
১৪আমি আমার ক্ষমতা প্রদর্শন করব এবং দেশকে নির্জন ও নষ্ট করব মরুভূমি থেকে দিবলা পর্যন্ত যেখানে তারা বাস করে। তারপর তারা জানতে পারবে যে আমি সদাপ্রভু!
