< Ezekiel 36 >

1 And thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
“Wuod dhano, kor wach kuom gode mag Israel, kendo wachnegi ni, ‘Yaye gode mag Israel, winjuru wach Jehova Nyasaye.
2 Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession:
Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Wasigu nogoyonu siboi kawacho niya, “Donge uwuoro! Gode machon maboyo koro osedoko mawa.”’
3 therefore prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the nations, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people:
Kuom mano, kor wach kiwacho kama: ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Nikech negimonjo pinyu ma giketho kuonde duto mage mine udongʼ maonge nyalo e kind ogendini mamoko, kane gijarou kendo giwuoyo kuomu marach,
4 therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about:
kuom mano, yaye un gode mag Israel, winjuru gima an Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho ni gode madongo gi matindo, kaachiel gi aore kod holni, gi kuonde modongʼ gundni, mane ogendini mokiewo gi jo-Israel oyako kendo oyiero.
5 therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, which have appointed my land unto themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey:
Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Asewuoyo ka an gi nyiego maliel ka mach kuom ogendini mamoko duto, kendo kuom piny Edom duto, nikech negiloko pinya margi, kendo ne giyako lege mage, ka chunygi opongʼ gi mor.’
6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
Kuom mano, kor wach kuom piny Israel, kendo wach ni gode madongo gi matindo, kaachiel gi rogo kod holni kama: ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Awuoyo ka an gi mirima mager, nikech usewinjo marach ka ogendini jarou.
7 therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: I have lifted up mine hand, [saying], Surely the heathen that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.
Emomiyo ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Akwongʼora ni ogendini molworou noyud wichkuot.
8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
“‘To un, joga Israel, yien nochak odong e gode mag Israel, mi nyagnu olembe, nikech ubiro dok e piny machiegni.
9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:
Aikora mar konyou kendo abiro rangou gi ngʼwono; mi puotheu pur mi pidhie kothe, un oganda mar dhood Israel duto,
10 and I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded:
abiro miyo unyaa mi udok mangʼeny. Mier matindo ji biro dakie, kendo kuonde momukore ibiro gero kendo.
11 and I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase, and be fruitful: and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better [unto you] than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Abiro medo kar kwan mar ji kod mar jamni modak e dieru, kendo gibiro medore mi gidok mathoth mokalo akwana. Abiro miyo ji gedo kuomu kaka chon, kendo abiro miyo unyaa moloyo kaka chon. Eka unungʼe ni An e Jehova Nyasaye.
12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.
Abiro keto ji, ma gin joga Israel, mondo owuoth kuomu. Gibiro kawou, kendo ubiro bedo girkeni margi, kendo ok unuchak umagi nyithindgi.
13 Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because they say unto you, Thou [land] art a devourer of men, and hast been a bereaver of thy nation;
“‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Nikech ji wachonu niya, “Unego ji kendo umayo ogandau nyithindgi,”
14 therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nation any more, saith the Lord GOD;
omiyo koro ok ubi nego ji kata miyo ogandau dongʼ migumba, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto owacho.
15 neither will I let thee hear any more the shame of the heathen, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nation to stumble any more, saith the Lord GOD.
Ok anachak ayie uwinj siboi mar ogendini; kendo ok unuchak une malit ka ji jarou kata ka gimiyo pinyu podho, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho.’”
16 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Wach Jehova Nyasaye nochako obirona kendo kama:
17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her separation.
“Wuod dhano, ka oganda mar jo-Israel ne pod odak e pinygi giwegi, ne gidwanye gi yoregi kod timbegi mamono. Timbegi ne ogak kaka gak mar dhako e nyima e kinde ma oneno malo.
18 Wherefore I poured out my fury upon them for the blood which they had poured out upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols:
Omiyo ne aolo mirimba kuomgi nikech ne gisechwero remo e piny, kendo nikech ne gisedwanye gi nyisechegi mopa.
19 and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
Ne akeyogi e dier ogendini, kendo negidak e kind ogendini mopogore opogore. Ne angʼadonegi bura kaluwore gi yoregi kod timbegi mamono.
20 And when they came unto the nations, whither they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.
Kendo kuonde duto mane gidhiyoe e dier ogendini to ne gichayo nyinga maler, nikech ji ne wuoyo kuomgi kawacho ni, ‘Magi gin jo-Jehova Nyasaye, to ne oriembogi e lope.’
21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, whither they went.
Ne aparo mondo atim gimoro ne nyinga maler, ma dhood Israel nosedwanyo e dier ogendini kuonde mane gidhiye.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD: I do not [this] for your sake, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye went.
“Emomiyo wachne dhood Israel ni, ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Ok abi timo gigo nikech un, yaye dhood Israel, to abiro timogi nikech nyinga maler, ma usedwanyo e dier ogendini kuonde duto musedhiyoe.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
Abiro nyiso kaka nyinga marahuma musedwanyo e dier ogendini, ler, nyingno musechido e diergi. Eka ogendini nongʼe ni An e Jehova Nyasaye, chiengʼ ma ananyisra kaka ngʼama ler ka uneno gi wangʼu, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho.
24 For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
“‘Nikech abiro golou oko e dier ogendini; chokou kagolou e pinje duto mi aduogu kendo e lopu uwegi.
25 And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Abiro kiro pi maler kuomu mi udok jomaler; abiro pwodhou kuom timbeu mamono kendo kuom nyisecheu duto mopa.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Abiro miyou chuny manyien kod paro manyien; kendo anagol kuomu chuny matek ka lwanda mi amiu chuny mayom ka ringʼo.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Abiro olo Roho mara kuomu, mi aket ulu buchena kendo uket chunyu mar rito chikena.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
Ubiro dak e piny mane amiyo kwereu; unubed joga to anabed Nyasachu.
29 And I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you.
Abiro resou kuom gik moko duto ma dimi ubed mogak. Abiro kelonu cham mi ubed gi cham mogundho kendo ok anawe ubed gi kech.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
Anami olembeu kod cham mag puotheu nyag mangʼeny, kendo ok unuchak une wichkuot e dier ogendini nikech wach kech.
31 Then shall ye remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
Eka unupar yoreu kod timbeu maricho, kendo unucharu kendu nikech richou kod timbeu mamonogo.
32 Not for your sake do I [this], saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
Adwaro ni ungʼe ni gigi duto ok atim nikech un, Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osewacho. Yaye dhood Israel, neuru wichkuot kuom timbeu mamono!
33 Thus saith the Lord GOD: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.
“‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Odiechiengʼ ma anapwodhie kuom richoni duto, anami ji odagi e miechi kendo, kendo kuonde momukore magi nochak oger.
34 And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.
Piny motwo nopur, ka joma kadho e diergi neno, kendo ok nowegi ginind mbora.
35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fenced and inhabited.
Giniwach niya, “Lopni ma yande okethi mowe nono koro osedoko machal gi puoth Eden, kendo mier madongo mane omuki kendo okethi molokore gunda tinde ochiel motegno kendo ji odakie.”
36 Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD have builded the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
Eka ogendini modongʼ molworou nongʼe ni an Jehova Nyasaye ema asegero gik mane omuki, kendo an ema asechako akomo puothe mane odongʼ mbora. An Jehova Nyasaye ema asewuoyo kamano, kendo abiro timo gima awacho.’
37 Thus saith the Lord GOD: For this moreover will I be inquired of by the house of Israel; to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
“Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto wacho: Abiro winjo kwayo jo-Israel kendo mi atimnegi kama: Abiro miyo ogendini doko mangʼeny ka rombe,
38 As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
adier ginibed mangʼeny mana ka jamni mitimogo misango Jerusalem e kinde mag nyasi mitimo higa ka higa. Omiyo mier madongo mokethore biro pongʼ gi kweth mag ji. Eka giningʼe ni An e Jehova Nyasaye.”
