Ezekiel 31
1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third [month], in the first [day] of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
೧ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಮೂರನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,
2 Son of man, say unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
೨“ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತವಾದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೂ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೊಡ್ಡಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸರಿಸಮಾನರು ಯಾರು?
3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.
೩ಆಹಾ, ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯವು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ದೇವದಾರು ಆಗಿದೆ; ಅದರ ನೆರಳು ದಟ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದರ ಎತ್ತರವು ಬಹಳ, ಅದರ ತುದಿಯು ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
4 The waters nourished him, the deep made him to grow: her rivers ran round about her plantation; and she sent out her channels unto all the trees of the field.
೪ಅದನ್ನು ಜಲಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸಿದವು, ಮಹಾನದಿಯು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಿತು, ನದಿಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳಿಗೂ ನದಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತ್ತು.
5 Therefore his stature was exalted above all the trees of the field: and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long by reason of many waters, when he shot [them] forth.
೫ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ವೃಕ್ಷವು ಅಡವಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಹಬ್ಬಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ನೀರಾವರಿಯಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಅಧಿಕವಾದವು. ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು.
6 All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
೬ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಗೂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದವು; ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳು ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಮರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜನ್ಮ ಕೊಟ್ಟವು. ಮಹಾಜನಾಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದವು.
7 Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by many waters.
೭ಹೀಗೆ ಅದು ತನ್ನ ದೊಡ್ಡಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ನೀಳವಾದ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದರ ಬೇರು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ನೀರಿನ ಆಸರೆ ಪಡೆದಿತ್ತು.
8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the plane trees were not as his branches; nor was any tree in the garden of God like unto him in his beauty.
೮ದೇವರ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದಲ್ಲಿನ ದೇವದಾರುಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರಗಳು ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆಲದ ಮರಗಳು ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಷ್ಟು ದಪ್ಪವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ದೇವರ ವನದಲ್ಲಿನ ಯಾವ ಮರವೂ ಅದರಷ್ಟು ರಮಣೀಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
9 I made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
೯ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳ ಸಮೂಹದಿಂದ ಸುಂದರಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆನು; ದೇವರ ಉದ್ಯಾನವಾದ ಏದೆನಿನ ಸಕಲ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳೂ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಸೂಯೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.”
10 Therefore thus said the Lord GOD: Because thou art exalted in stature, and he hath set his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
೧೦ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಆ ವೃಕ್ಷವು ಬಹಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು, ತನ್ನ ತುದಿ ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವಷ್ಟು ನೀಳವಾದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
11 I will even deliver him into the hand of the mighty one of the nations; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.
೧೧ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದವನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವನು ಅದರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನಾನು ಅದರ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
12 And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the watercourses of the land; and all the peoples of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
೧೨“ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಅನ್ಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದರ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳು ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳ್ಳಕೊಳ್ಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆ; ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳ್ಳಗಳ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಮುರಿದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ; ಲೋಕದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅದರ ನೆರಳಿನಿಂದ ದೂರ ಸರಿದು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
13 Upon his ruin all the fowls of the heaven shall dwell, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:
೧೩ಅದರ ಬುಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು; ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳು ಇರುವವು.
14 to the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves in their stature, neither set their top among the thick boughs, nor that their mighty ones stand up in their height, [even] all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.
೧೪“ನೀರಾವರಿಯ ಯಾವ ಮರಗಳೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಎತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಮ್ಮ ತುದಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಡಗಳಿಗೆ ತಗುಲಿಸದೆ, ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೀರುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡದೊಡ್ಡ ಮರಗಳು ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರಲೆಂದು ಹೀಗಾಯಿತು. ಅವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಣದ ಪಾಲಾಗುವುವು, ಅಧೋಲೋಕವೇ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದು; ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು ಹೋದ ನರಜನ್ಮದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಸೇರುವವು.”
15 Thus saith the Lord GOD: In the day when he went down to hell I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the rivers thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him. (Sheol h7585)
೧೫ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಆ ವೃಕ್ಷವು ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು ಹೋದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದರ ವಿಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಮಹಾ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ, ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು, ಜಲಪ್ರವಾಹವು ನಿಂತುಹೋಯಿತು; ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಲೆಬನೋನು ಗೋಳಿಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಸಕಲ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳು ಆ ದುಃಖಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದವು. (Sheol h7585)
16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the nether parts of the earth. (Sheol h7585)
೧೬ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇತಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ, ಅದು ಬಿದ್ದ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಡುಗಿದವು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧೋಲೋಕದ ಪಾಲಾದ ಏದೆನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳು, ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಉತ್ತಮೋತ್ತಮವಾದ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳು, ಅಂತು ನೀರಾವರಿಯ ಸಕಲ ವನಸ್ಪತಿಗಳೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೈಸಿಕೊಂಡವು. (Sheol h7585)
17 They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain by the sword; yea, they that were his arm, [that] dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
೧೭ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತೋಳಿನ ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿದವರು ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು, ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಹತರಾದವರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. (Sheol h7585)
18 To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised, with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
೧೮“ಇಂಥಾ ವೈಭವದಿಂದಲೂ, ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕೂಡಿದ ನೀನು ಏದೆನಿನ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆ? ಆದರೂ ನೀನು ಏದೆನಿನ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಧೋಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಸುನ್ನತಿಹೀನರ ನಡುವೆ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಹತರಾದವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗುವಿ. ಫರೋಹನೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೂ ಇದೇ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವರು ಎಂಬುದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.”
