Ezekiel 23
1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
Veio mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
Filho do homem, houve duas mulheres, filhas de uma mãe.
3 and they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
Estas fornicaram no Egito; na sua mocidade fornicaram; ali foram apertados os seus peitos, e ali foram apalpados os seios da sua virgindade.
4 And the names of them were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister: and they became mine, and they bare sons and daughters. And as for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.
E os seus nomes eram: Ohola, a mais velha, e Oholiba, sua irmã; e foram minhas, e pariram filhos e filhas; e, quanto aos seus nomes, Samaria é Ohola, e Jerusalém é Oholiba.
5 And Oholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians [her] neighbours,
E fornicou Ohola, sendo minha; e enamorou-se dos seus amantes, dos assyrios, seus vizinhos,
6 which were clothed with blue, governors and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.
Vestidos de azul, prefeitos e magistrados, todos mancebos de cobiçar, cavaleiros montados a cavalo.
7 And she bestowed her whoredoms upon them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them: and on whomsoever she doted, with all their idols she defiled herself.
Assim cometeu ela as suas fornicações com eles, os quais todos eram a flôr dos filhos da Assyria, e com todos os de quem se enamorava; com todos os seus ídolos se contaminou.
8 Neither hath, she left her whoredoms since [the days of] Egypt; for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the teats of her virginity: and they poured out their whoredom upon her.
E as suas fornicações, que trouxe do Egito, não as deixou; porque com ela se deitaram na sua mocidade, e eles apalparam os seios da sua virgindade, e derramaram sobre ela a sua fornicação.
9 Wherefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.
Portanto a entreguei na mão dos seus amantes, na mão dos filhos da Assyria, de quem se enamorara.
10 These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and her they slew with the sword: and she became a byword among women; for they executed judgments upon her.
Estes descobriram a sua vergonha, levaram seus filhos e suas filhas, mas a ela mataram à espada; e foi afamada entre as mulheres, e nela exerceram os juízos.
11 And her sister Oholibah saw this, yet was she more corrupt in her doting than she, and in her whoredoms which were more than the whoredoms of her sister.
O que vendo sua irmã Oholiba, corrompeu o seu amor mais do que ela, e as suas fornicações mais do que as fornicações de sua irmã
12 She doted upon the Assyrians, governors and rulers, [her] neighbours, clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.
Enamorou-se dos filhos da Assyria, dos prefeitos e dos magistrados seus vizinhos, vestidos com primor, cavaleiros que andam montados em cavalos, todos mancebos de cobiçar.
13 And I saw that she was defiled; they both took one way.
E vi que se tinha contaminado; que o caminho de ambas era o mesmo.
14 And she increased her whoredoms; for she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,
E aumentou as suas fornicações, porque viu homens pintados na parede, imagens dos caldeus, pintadas de vermelho;
15 girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look upon, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their nativity.
Cingidos de cinto nos seus lombos, e tiaras largas tingidas nas suas cabeças, todos de parecer de capitães, à semelhança dos filhos de Babilônia em Chaldea, terra do seu nascimento.
16 And as soon as she saw them she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.
E se enamorou deles, vendo-os com os seus olhos: e lhes mandou mensageiros a Chaldea.
17 And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love; and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her soul was alienated from them.
Então vieram a ela os filhos de Babilônia para a cama dos amores, e a contaminaram com as suas fornicações: e ela se contaminou com eles; então apartou-se deles a alma dela.
18 So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my soul was alienated from her, like as my soul was alienated from her sister.
Assim descobriu as suas fornicações, e descobriu a sua vergonha: então a minha alma se apartou dela, como já se tinha apartado a minha alma de sua irmã.
19 Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, remembering the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
Porém multiplicou as suas fornicações, lembrando-se dos dias da sua mocidade, em que fornicara na terra do Egito.
20 And she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.
E enamorou-se dos seus amantes, cujas carnes são como carnes de jumentos, e cujo fluxo é como o fluxo de cavalos.
21 Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in the bruising of thy teats by the Egyptians for the breasts of thy youth.
Assim trouxeste à memória a enormidade da tua mocidade, quando os do Egito apalpavam os teus seios, por causa dos peitos da tua mocidade.
22 Therefore, O Oholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy soul is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;
Por isso, ó Oholiba, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu suscitarei contra ti os teus amantes, dos quais se tinha apartado a tua alma, e os trarei contra ti de em redor:
23 the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, [and] all the Assyrians with them: desirable young men, governors and rulers all of them, princes and men of renown, all of them riding upon horses.
Os filhos de Babilônia, e todos os caldeus de Pecod, e de Soa, e de Coa, e todos os filhos da Assyria com eles, mancebos de cobiçar, prefeitos e magistrados todos eles, capitães e homens afamados, todos eles montados a cavalo.
24 And they shall come against thee with weapons, chariots, and wagons, and with an assembly of peoples; they shall set themselves against thee with buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will commit the judgment unto them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.
E virão contra ti com carros, carretas e rodas, e com ajuntamento de povos; e se porão contra ti em redor com rodelas, e escudos, e capacetes: e porei diante deles o juízo, e julgar-te-ão segundo os teus juízos.
25 And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal with thee in fury: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy residue shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
E porei contra ti o meu zelo, e usarão de indignação contigo: o nariz e as orelhas te tirarão, e o que te ficar de resto cairá à espada: teus filhos e tuas filhas eles te tomarão, e o que ficar por último em ti será consumido pelo fogo.
26 They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.
Também te despirão os teus vestidos, e te tomarão as tuas jóias de enfeite.
27 Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom [brought] from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.
Assim farei cessar em ti a tua enormidade e a tua fornicação da terra do Egito; e não levantarás os teus olhos para eles, nem te lembrarás mais do Egito.
28 For thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy soul is alienated:
Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu te entregarei na mão dos que aborreces, na mão daqueles de quem se tinha apartado a tua alma.
29 and they shall deal with thee in hatred, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
E te tratarão com ódio, e levarão todo o teu trabalho, e te deixarão nua e despida: e descobrir-se-á a vergonha da tua fornicação, e a tua enormidade, e as tuas fornicações.
30 These things shall be done unto thee, for that thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.
Estas coisas se te farão, porquanto tu fornicaste após os gentios, e porquanto te contaminaste com os seus ídolos.
31 Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.
No caminho de tua irmã andaste; por isso te darei o seu copo na tua mão.
32 Thus saith the Lord GOD: Thou shalt drink of thy sister’s cup, which is deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Beberás o copo de tua irmã, fundo e largo: servirás de riso e escarneio; ele leva muito.
33 Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.
De embriaguez e de dor te encherás: o copo de tua irmã Samaria é copo de espanto e de assolação.
34 Thou shalt even drink it and drain it out, and thou shalt gnaw the sherds thereof, and shalt tear thy breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
Bebe-lo-ás pois, e esgota-lo-ás, e os seus cacos roerás, e os teus peitos arrancarás; porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
35 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto te esqueceste de mim, e me lançaste para traz das tuas costas, leva tu pois também a tua enormidade e as tuas fornicações.
36 The LORD said moreover unto me: Son of man, wilt thou judge Oholah and Oholibah? then declare unto them their abominations.
E disse-me o Senhor: Filho do homem, porventura julgarias a Ohola e a Oholiba? mostra-lhes pois as suas abominações.
37 For they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery; and they have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass through [the fire] unto them to be devoured.
Porque cometeram adultério, e sangue se acha nas suas mãos, e com os seus ídolos cometeram adultério, e até os seus filhos, que me geraram, fizeram passar pelo fogo por si, para os consumir.
38 Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.
E ainda isto me fizeram: contaminaram o meu santuário no mesmo dia, e profanaram os meus sábados.
39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
Porque, havendo sacrificado seus filhos aos seus ídolos, vinham ao meu santuário no mesmo dia para o profanarem; e eis que assim fizeram no meio da minha casa.
40 And furthermore ye have sent for men that come from far: unto whom a messenger was sent, and, lo, they came; for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thine eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments;
E, o que mais é, enviaram uns homens, que haviam de vir de longe, aos quais fôra enviado um mensageiro, e eis que vieram, por amor dos quais te lavaste, coloriste os teus olhos, e te enfeitaste de enfeites.
41 and satest upon a stately bed. with a table prepared before it, whereupon thou didst set mine incense and mine oil.
E te assentaste sobre um leito de honra, diante do qual estava uma mesa preparada: e puseste sobre ela o meu incenso e o meu óleo.
42 And the voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with men of the common sort were brought drunkards from the wilderness; and they put bracelets upon the hands of them [twain], and beautiful crowns upon their heads.
Havia com ela a voz de uma multidão satisfeita, e com varões da classe baixa foram trazidos beberrões do deserto; e puseram braceletes nas suas mãos, e corôas de esplendor nas suas cabeças.
43 Then said I of her that was old in adulteries, Now will they commit whoredoms with her, and she [with them].
Então disse à envelhecida em adultérios: Agora deveras fornicarão as suas fornicações, como também ela.
44 And they went in unto her, as they go in unto an harlot: so went they in unto Oholah and unto Oholibah, the lewd women.
E entraram a ela, como quem entra a uma prostituta: assim entraram a Ohola e a Oholiba, mulheres infames.
45 And righteous men, they shall judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, and with the judgment of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
De maneira que homens justos eles as julgarão conforme o juízo das adulteras, e conforme o juízo das que derramam o sangue; porque adulteras são, e sangue há nas suas mãos.
46 For thus saith the Lord GOD: I will bring up an assembly against them, and will give them to be tossed to and fro and spoiled.
Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Farei subir contra elas uma congregação, e as entregarei ao desterro e ao roubo.
47 And the assembly shall stone them with stones, and despatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.
E a congregação as apedrejará com pedras, e as acutilarão com as suas espadas: a seus filhos e a suas filhas matarão, e as suas casas queimarão a fogo.
48 Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.
Assim farei cessar a infâmia da terra, para que se escarmentem todas as mulheres, e não façam conforme a vossa infâmia.
49 And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
E a vossa infâmia carregarão sobre vós, e levareis os pecados dos vossos ídolos; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor Jehovah.
