Ezekiel 22
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 And thou, son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? then cause her to know all her abominations.
E tu, filho do homem, Por acaso julgarás tu, por acaso julgarás tu a cidade derramadora de sanguinária? Notifica-lhe, pois, todas as suas abominações.
3 And thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord GOD: A city that sheddeth blood in the midst of her, that her time may come, and that maketh idols against herself to defile her!
E dize: Assim disse o Senhor DEUS: Cidade que derrama sangue no meio de si, para que venha seu tempo, e que faz ídolos contra si mesma para se contaminar.
4 Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed, and art defiled in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.
Fizeste-te culpada com teu sangue que derramaste, e te contaminaste com teus ídolos que fizeste; e fizeste aproximar teus dias, e chegado a teus anos; por isso te entreguei por humilhação às nações, e por escárnio a todas as terras.
5 Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, thou infamous one [and] full of tumult.
As que estão perto e as que estão longe de ti escarnecerão de ti, [que és] imunda de nome, e cheia de inquietação.
6 Behold, the princes of Israel, every one according to his power, have been in thee to shed blood.
Eis que os príncipes de Israel, cada um conforme seu poder, estiveram em ti para derramarem sangue.
7 In thee have they set light by father and mother; in the midst of thee, have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they wronged the fatherless and the widow.
Desprezaram ao pai e à mãe em ti; trataram ao estrangeiro com opressão no meio de ti; oprimiram ao órfão e à viúva em ti.
8 Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
Desprezaste minhas coisas santas, e profanaste meus sábados.
9 Slanderous men have been in thee to shed blood: and in thee they have eaten upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they have committed lewdness.
Caluniadores houve em ti, para derramarem sangue; e comeram sobre os montes em ti; praticaram lascívia no meio de ti.
10 In thee have they discovered their fathers’ nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was unclean in her separation.
Descobriram a nudez do pai ) em ti; abusaram da contaminada por menstruação em ti.
11 And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
E um cometeu abominação com a mulher de seu próximo; e outro contaminou lascivamente sua nora; e outro abusou de sua irmã, filha de seu pai.
12 In thee have they taken bribes to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by oppression, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
Suborno receberam em ti para derramarem sangue; juros e lucro tomaste, e exploraste gananciosamente o teu próximo, oprimindo-o; e esqueceste de mim, diz o Senhor DEUS.
13 Behold, therefore, I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
Mais eis que bati minhas mãos por causa de tua ganância que cometeste, e por causa de teu sangue, que houve no meio de ti.
14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.
Conseguirá, por acaso, ficar firme teu coração? Serão fortes tuas mãos nos dias em que eu agir contra ti? Eu, o SENHOR, falei, e farei.
15 And I will scatter thee among the nations, and disperse thee through the countries; and I will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
E eu te dispersarei pelas nações, e te espalharei pelas terras; e acabarei de ti tua imundícia.
16 And thou shalt be profaned in thyself, in the sight of the nations; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
Assim serás profanada em ti aos olhos das nações, e saberás que eu sou o SENHOR.
17 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
18 Son of man, the house of Israel is become dross unto me: all of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are the dross of silver.
Filho do homem, a casa de Israel se tornou para mim em escórias; todos eles são cobre, estanho, ferro, e chumbo, no meio do forno; eles se tornaram escórias de prata.
19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because ye are all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que todos vós vos tornastes em escórias, por isso eis que eu vos ajuntarei no meio de Jerusalém.
20 As they gather silver and brass and iron and lead and tin into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will lay you there, and melt you.
Como se ajunta prata, bronze, ferro, chumbo e estanho no meio do forno, para soprar fogo sobre eles para fundir, assim vos ajuntarei em minha ira e em meu furor, e [ali] vos deixarei, e vos fundirei.
21 Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and ye shalt be melted in the midst thereof.
Eu vos reunirei, e soprarei sobre vós no fogo de meu furor, e no meio dela sereis fundidos.
22 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.
Como se funde a prata no meio do forno, assim sereis fundidos no meio dela; e sabereis que eu, o SENHOR, derramei meu furor sobre vós.
23 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
24 Son of man, say unto her, thou art a land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
Filho do homem, diz a ela: Tu não és uma terra limpa, nem molhada de chuva no dia da indignação.
25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in the midst thereof.
Há uma conspiração de seus profetas no meio dela, como um leão que brame, que arrebata a presa; devoraram almas, tomam bens e coisas preciosas, aumentam suas viúvas no meio dela.
26 Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
Seus sacerdotes violentam minha lei, e profanam minhas coisas sagradas; não fazem diferença entre o santo e o profano, nem distinguem o impuro do puro; e escondem seus olhos de meus sábados. Assim eu sou profanado no meio deles.
27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey; to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.
Seus príncipes no meio dela são como lobos que arrebatam presa para derramarem sangue, para destruírem almas, para obterem lucro desonesto.
28 And her prophets have daubed for them with untempered [mortar], seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
E seus profetas os rebocam com cal solta, profetizando-lhes falsidade, e adivinhando- lhes mentira, dizendo: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS; sem que o SENHOR tenha falado.
29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery; yea, they have vexed the poor and needy, and have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
O povo da terra faz graves extorsões, e pratica roubos; fazem violência ao aflito e necessitado, e oprimem sem motivo ao estrangeiro.
30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the fence, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
E busquei dentre eles um homem que tapasse o muro, e que se pusesse na brecha diante de mim pela terra, para que eu não a destruísse; porém a ninguém achei.
31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
Por isso derramarei sobre eles minha indignação; com o fogo de minha ira os consumirei; retribuirei o caminho deles sobre suas [próprias] cabeças, diz o Senhor DEUS.
