Ezekiel 22
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
੧ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
2 And thou, son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? then cause her to know all her abominations.
੨ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ? ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਖੂਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ? ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰ।
3 And thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord GOD: A city that sheddeth blood in the midst of her, that her time may come, and that maketh idols against herself to defile her!
੩ਤੂੰ ਆਖ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖੂਨ ਵਹਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ!
4 Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed, and art defiled in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.
੪ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਲਹੂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੂੰ ਵਹਾਇਆ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਠੱਠਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
5 Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, thou infamous one [and] full of tumult.
੫ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਠੱਠਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਫਸਾਦੀ ਹੈਂ।
6 Behold, the princes of Israel, every one according to his power, have been in thee to shed blood.
੬ਵੇਖ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਖੂਨ ਵਹਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਨ।
7 In thee have they set light by father and mother; in the midst of thee, have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they wronged the fatherless and the widow.
੭ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਿਆ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਦੇਸੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕੀਤਾ।
8 Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
੮ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਚ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ।
9 Slanderous men have been in thee to shed blood: and in thee they have eaten upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they have committed lewdness.
੯ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਗਲਖ਼ੋਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਖੂਨ ਵਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਤੇ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁੱਚਪੁਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਹਨ।
10 In thee have they discovered their fathers’ nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was unclean in her separation.
੧੦ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਪੜਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਹਨ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਸਿਕ ਧਰਮ ਵਾਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਹਨ।
11 And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
੧੧ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਣਾਉਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਅਥਵਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ।
12 In thee have they taken bribes to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by oppression, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
੧੨ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਖੂਨ ਕੀਤੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਆਜ ਤੇ ਵਾਧਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
13 Behold, therefore, I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
੧੩ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਯੋਗ ਲਾਭ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖੂਨ ਖਰਾਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੱਥ ਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.
੧੪ਕੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦਿਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ? ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ,
15 And I will scatter thee among the nations, and disperse thee through the countries; and I will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
੧੫ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ੱਜਲ-ਖੁਆਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਪਲੀਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
16 And thou shalt be profaned in thyself, in the sight of the nations; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
੧੬ਤੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਸਮਝੇਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
17 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
੧੭ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
18 Son of man, the house of Israel is become dross unto me: all of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are the dross of silver.
੧੮ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਲ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਪਿੱਤਲ, ਟੀਨ, ਲੋਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੀ ਮੈਲ਼ ਹਨ।
19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because ye are all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
੧੯ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਲ਼ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹੋ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
20 As they gather silver and brass and iron and lead and tin into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will lay you there, and melt you.
੨੦ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਪਿੱਤਲ, ਲੋਹਾ, ਸਿੱਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਨ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਘਲਾ ਦੇਣ, ਓਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਪਿਘਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
21 Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and ye shalt be melted in the midst thereof.
੨੧ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਘਲੋਗੇ।
22 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.
੨੨ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਘਲਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਓਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਘਲਾਏ ਜਾਓਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
23 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
੨੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
24 Son of man, say unto her, thou art a land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
੨੪ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ?
25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in the midst thereof.
੨੫ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ, ਗੱਜਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜਦਿਆਂ ਉਹ ਜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੀਆਂ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਹ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਢੇਰ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
26 Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
੨੬ਉਹ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਭੇਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਬਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਫੇਰ ਲਈਆਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਲੀਤ ਹੋਇਆ।
27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey; to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.
੨੭ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਘਿਆੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਬੇਈਮਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਲਾਭ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਲਹੂ ਵਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
28 And her prophets have daubed for them with untempered [mortar], seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
੨੮ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਬੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੱਚੀ ਕਲੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਝੂਠੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਉਪਾਅ ਕੱਢਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ।
29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery; yea, they have vexed the poor and needy, and have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
੨੯ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੁੱਟ-ਮਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਸਕੀਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਦੇਸੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾਹੱਕ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the fence, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
੩੦ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲੱਭੇ ਜੋ ਕੰਧ ਬਣਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਝਰਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖਲੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਉਜਾੜਾਂ, ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਿਆ।
31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
੩੧ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਹਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
