< Daniel 12 >
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
“Ní àkókò náà, ni Mikaeli, ọmọ-aládé ńlá, ẹni tí o ń dáàbò bo àwọn ènìyàn an rẹ̀ yóò dìde. Àkókò ìpọ́njú yóò wà, irú èyí tí kò tí ì ṣẹlẹ̀ rí láti ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè títí di àkókò náà. Ṣùgbọ́n ní àkókò náà àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀, gbogbo àwọn tí a bá ti rí orúkọ wọn nínú ìwé ni a ó gbàlà.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àwọn tí ó sùn nínú erùpẹ̀ ilẹ̀ ni yóò jí: àwọn mìíràn sí ìyè àìnípẹ̀kun, àwọn tókù sí ìtìjú àti sí ẹ̀gàn àìnípẹ̀kun.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Àwọn tí ó jẹ́ ọlọ́gbọ́n yóò máa tàn bí ìmọ́lẹ̀ ọ̀run, àti àwọn tí ó ń tọ́nisọ́nà sí òdodo, yóò máa tàn bí ìràwọ̀ láé àti láéláé.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ Daniẹli, pa ìwé náà dé kí o sì pa ọ̀rọ̀ ọ rẹ̀ mọ́ títí àkókò ìgbẹ̀yìn. Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ yóò máa lọ sí ìhín sí ọ̀hún láti jẹ́ kí ìmọ̀ wọn di púpọ̀.”
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the brink of the river on this side, and the other on the brink of the river on that side.
Nígbà náà, ni èmi Daniẹli, wò, ní iwájú mi àwọn méjì mìíràn dúró, ọ̀kan dúró sí apá ìhín ní etí bèbè odò ẹnìkan náà ní apá òdìkejì ọ̀hún etí i bèbè.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
Ọ̀kan lára wọn sọ fún ọkùnrin tí ó wọ aṣọ àlà, ẹni tí ó wà lórí omi odò pé, “Báwo ni yóò ṣe pẹ́ tó kí àwọn nǹkan ìyanu wọ̀nyí tó wá sí ìmúṣẹ?”
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth fear ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Ọkùnrin tí ó wọ aṣọ àlà, ẹni tí ó wà lórí omi odò, gbé ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ̀ àti ọwọ́ òsì rẹ̀, mo gbọ́ tí ó fi ẹni tí ó wà títí láé búra, ó sọ wí pé, “Yóò ṣe ní àkókò kan, àkókò méjì àti ààbọ̀. Nígbà tí agbára àwọn ẹni mímọ́ yóò ti fọ́ tán pátápátá, gbogbo nǹkan wọ̀nyí yóò sì parí.”
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?
Èmi gbọ́, ṣùgbọ́n kò yé mi. Nígbà náà ni mo béèrè pé, “Olúwa mi, kí ni yóò jẹ́ àbábọ̀ àwọn nǹkan wọ̀nyí?”
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.
Ó sì dáhùn pé, “Máa lọ ní ọ̀nà rẹ, Daniẹli nítorí tí a ti pa ọ̀rọ̀ náà dé, a sì ti fi èdìdì dì í di ìgbà ìkẹyìn.
10 Many shall purify themselves; and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand: but they that be wise shall understand.
Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ni a ó fọ̀ mọ́, wọn yóò wà láìlábàwọ́n, a ó sì tún wọn ṣe, ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ẹni búburú yóò máa ṣe búburú lọ, kò sí ẹni búburú tí òye yóò yé ṣùgbọ́n òye yóò yé àwọn ọlọ́gbọ́n.
11 And from the time that the continual [burnt offering] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
“Láti àkókò tí a ó mú ẹbọ ojoojúmọ́ kúrò, tí a ó sì gbé ìríra tí ó ń fa ìsọdahoro kalẹ̀ yóò sì jẹ́ ẹgbẹ̀rún àti igba lé àádọ́rùn-ún ọjọ́.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and shalt stand in thy lot, at the end of the days.
“Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ, máa lọ ní ọ̀nà rẹ, títí di òpin. Ìwọ yóò sinmi, àti ní òpin ọjọ́ ìwọ yóò dìde láti gba èrè rẹ.”
