< Colossians 3 >

1 If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
Jodi Isor pora apuni ke Khrista logote uthai dise, titia hoile apuni to upor laga jinis ke he bisaribi, kun jagate Khrista to Isor laga dyna hathte bohi ase.
2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
Prithibi laga jinis khan nohoi, kintu uporte thaka jinis khan ke bhabona koribi.
3 For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Kelemane apuni mori jaise, aru apuni laga jibon to Isor te Khrista dwara lukai kene ase.
4 When Christ, [who is] our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.
Jitia Khrista wapas ahibo, jun apuni laga jibon ase, titia apuni bhi Tai laga mohima te ahibo.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, the which is idolatry;
Etu nimite prithibi te thaka kaam khan sob morai dibi- bebichari, sapha nathaka, gaw mangso itcha, biya laga itcha, aru lalchi kora, kuntu to murti puja kora nisina he ase.
6 for which things’ sake cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience;
Etu kaam khan nimite Isor laga khong to ahi ase.
7 in the which ye also walked aforetime, when ye lived in these things.
Ekta homoi te apuni khan etu kaam khan kori kene jinda thakise.
8 But now put ye also away all these; anger, wrath, malice, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth:
Kintu etiya apuni khan sob purana kaam khan chari dibole lage- gusa, khong, biya bhabona, sorom khilai diya, aru apuni laga mukh pora biya kotha ula khan.
9 lie not one to another; seeing that ye have put off the old man with his doings,
Ekjon-ekjon logote misa kotha nokoribi, kelemane apuni khan logote purana manu aru purana kaam kori thaka khan sob ulaikene phelai dise,
10 and have put on the new man, which is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:
aru kun pora apuni khan ke notun manu bonai dise Tai laga gyaan pora notun hoi jaise.
11 where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman: but Christ is all, and in all.
Yate kun bhi Yunani aru Yehudi nai, sunnot kora aru sunnot nakora nai, dusra jat aru desh laga manu nai, ta te Scythia laga manu nai, noukar aru ajad thaka manu nai, kintu Khrista he sob ase, aru sob te Tai he ase.
12 Put on therefore, as God’s elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
Etu nimite, Isor pora basi luwa manu nisena, pobitro aru morom thaka khan, apnikhan daya, morom, nomro aru norom aru dhorjo eitu khan pindhi lobi.
13 forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye:
Ekjon-ekjon logote nomro aru morom kori kene thakibi. Jodi kunba manu dusra laga bhirodh kore, Probhu pora apuni ke maph kori diya nisena, taikhan ke bhi maph kori dibi.
14 and above all these things [put on] love, which is the bond of perfectness.
Etu sob kotha khan pora bhi, morom thakibi, etu pora he sob to bhal bonai dibo.
15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Khrista laga shanti apuni khan laga monte raj kori bole dibi. Etu shanti nimite apuni khan ke ekta gaw hoi kene matise. Aru dhanyavad dibole janibi.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another with psalms [and] hymns [and] spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.
Khrista laga kotha apuni khan logote bhorta hoi kene rakhi bhi. Atma laga gana kori kene ekjon-ekjon ke gyaan pora sikhai dibi. Apuni laga monte Isor ke dhanyavad dikene gana kori thakibi.
17 And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Apuni khan ki kore, kotha aru kaam pora, Probhu Jisu laga naam te he koribi. Tai nimite Baba Isor ke dhanyavad dibi.
18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Maiki khan, nijor mota logote bhal pora thakibi, etu he Probhu usorte thik ase.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
Mota khan, nijor laga maiki ke morom koribi, aru taikhan logote mon tita kori kene nathakibi.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing in the Lord.
Bacha khan, sob kotha te ama baba khan laga kotha mani kene thakibi, kelemane Probhu etu he khushi pai.
21 Fathers, provoke not your children, that they be not discouraged.
Baba khan, apuni laga bacha khan ke biya kotha na koribi, etu pora taikhan laga mon dukh kori bole nadibi.
22 Servants, obey in all things them that are your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord:
Sewak kora khan, gaw pora ki pare etu loi kene apuni malik laga kotha mani kene thakibi, manu ki suku pora dikhi kene khushi pai etu pora nohoi, kintu bhal mon loi kene. Probhu ke bhoi koribi.
23 whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men;
Apuni ki kori ase, atma pora kaam koribi aru Probhu nimite koribi, manu khan nimite kora nisena na koribi.
24 knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance: ye serve the Lord Christ.
Apuni jane Probhu pora apuni waris hobole laga inam pabo. Etu Probhu Khrista ase kunke apuni khan sewa kori ase.
25 For he that doeth wrong shall receive again for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
Kun manu biya kaam khan kore tai biya kaam kora laga hisab te he sajai pabo, aru taike eku alag morom napabo.
