Acts 9
1 But Saul, yet breathing threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
ⲁ̅ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲉϩ ⲛ̅ⲁⲡⲓⲗⲏ ϩⲓϩⲱⲧⲃ̅ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ. ⲁϥϯⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ
2 and asked of him letters to Damascus unto the synagogues, that if he found any that were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
ⲃ̅ⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ. ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ̅ ⲉⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲛ̅ⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲛⲉⲧϥ̅ⲛⲁϩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϩⲓⲟⲙⲉ. ⲉϥⲉϫⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲏⲣ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲑⲓⲗⲏ̅ⲙ̅.
3 And as he journeyed, it came to pass that he drew nigh unto Damascus: and suddenly there shone round about him a light out of heaven:
ⲅ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϩⲱⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ. ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩϣⲥ̅ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ϣⲁ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲉ.
4 and he fell upon the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϩⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϫⲙ̅ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ. ϫⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲉ ⲁϩⲣⲟⲕ ⲕⲡⲏⲧ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲓ̈.
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he [said], I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:
ⲉ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲕ̅ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ. ⲡⲉϫⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲕⲡⲏⲧ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ.
6 but rise, and enter into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
ⲋ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅ̅ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲕ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲉⲁⲁϥ.
7 And the men that journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the voice, but beholding no man.
ⲍ̅ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ (ⲛ)ⲉⲩⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲟⲛϣ. ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲛⲟⲓ̈ ⲁⲛ. ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ.
8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing; and they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
ⲏ̅ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲙ̅ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ. ⲁⲩϫⲓⲙⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲇⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ̅ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ̅ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ.
9 And he was three days without sight, and did neither eat nor drink.
ⲑ̅ⲁϥⲣ̅ϣⲟⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲛϥ̅ⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡϥ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡϥ̅ⲥⲱ.
10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and the Lord said unto him in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I [am here], Lord.
ⲓ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ. ⲡⲉϫⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩϩⲟⲣⲟⲙⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ.
11 And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus: for behold, he prayeth;
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅ̅ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲫⲓⲣ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ. ⲛⲅ̅ϣⲓⲛⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲏⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲣⲙ̅ⲧⲁⲣⲥⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ. ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲉϥϣⲗⲏⲗ.
12 and he hath seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲉⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ̅ ⲉϫⲱϥ ϫⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
13 But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many of this man, how much evil he did to thy saints at Jerusalem:
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲓ̈ⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲛ̅ϩⲁϩ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲉⲓ̈ⲣⲱⲙⲉ. ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲣ̅ϩⲁϩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲕⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ϩⲛ̅ⲑⲓ(ⲗ)ⲏ̅ⲙ̅.
14 and here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call upon thy name.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲛ ⲁϥϫⲓⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓ̈ⲙⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲉⲙⲟⲩⲣ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel:
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲟⲩⲥⲕⲉⲩⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲧⲡ̅ ⲡⲉ. ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϥⲓ ϩⲁⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲣⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲗ.
16 for I will shew him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲛϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲉⲧϥ̅ⲛⲁϣⲟⲡⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ.
17 And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, [even] Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲏⲓ̈ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲉⲛⲉϥϭⲓϫ ⲉϫⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ. ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲟⲛ ⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲟⲩⲧ. ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ ⲉⲧⲕ̅ⲛⲏⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲕⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲅ̅ⲙⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ.
18 And straightway there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and he arose and was baptized;
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛϩⲃⲥ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥϫⲓⲃⲁⲡⲧⲓⲥⲙⲁ
19 and he took food and was strengthened. And he was certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁϥϭⲙ̅ϭⲟⲙ. ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲛ̅ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ.
20 And straightway in the synagogues he proclaimed Jesus, that he is the Son of God.
ⲕ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲕⲩⲣⲏⲥⲥⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ϩⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈. ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ.
21 And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havock of them which called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲩⲡⲱϣⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲣⲟϥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲱⲱⲣⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲑⲓⲗⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓ̈ⲣⲁⲛ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲟⲩϥ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲉⲓ̈ⲙⲁ. ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉϫⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲙⲏⲣ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ.
22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉϥϭⲙ̅ϭⲟⲙ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲩⲟ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥϣⲧⲟⲣⲧⲣ̅ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲧⲁⲙⲟ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
23 And when many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel together to kill him:
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ⲁⲩϫⲓϣⲟϫⲛⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲃⲉϥ.
24 but their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates also day and night that they might kill him:
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲉⲥⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲉⲩϣⲟϫⲛⲉ. ⲛⲉⲩϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲙⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲙⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ.
25 but his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲗⲁ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲟⲃⲧ̅ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲃⲓⲣ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ.
26 And when he was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: and they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲑⲓⲗⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲁϥϫⲱⲛⲧ̅ ⲉⲧⲟϭϥ̅ ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲣ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ̅ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲉ.
27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲃⲁⲣⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲁϥϫⲓⲧϥ̅ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ. ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁⲍⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ϩⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅.
28 And he was with them going in and going out at Jerusalem,
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲛⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲃⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲑⲓⲗⲏ̅ⲙ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁⲍⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ.
29 preaching boldly in the name of the Lord: and he spake and disputed against the Grecian Jews; but they went about to kill him.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲉϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϯⲧⲱⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲉⲓⲉⲛⲓⲛ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲃⲉϥ.
30 And when the brethren knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
ⲗ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ. ⲁⲩⲛ̅ⲧϥ̅ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲕⲁⲓⲥⲁⲣⲓⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲟⲩϥ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲥⲟⲥ.
31 So the church throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, was multiplied.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ϯⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ̅ ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲁ. ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲥⲁⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ. ⲛⲉⲥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲩⲕⲱⲧ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ. ⲉⲥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲑⲟⲧⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲟⲡⲥ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛⲉⲥⲁϣⲁⲓ̈.
32 And it came to pass, as Peter went throughout all parts, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ϣⲁⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ̅ⲗⲩⲇⲇⲁ.
33 And there he found a certain man named AEneas, which had kept his bed eight years; for he was palsied.
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϩⲉ ⲉⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲛⲛⲁⲓⲁⲥ. ⲉⲁϥⲣ̅ϣⲙⲟⲩⲛⲉ ⲛ̅ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲥⲏϭ ⲉϥⲛⲏϫ ϩⲓϫⲛ̅ⲟⲩϭⲗⲟϭ.
34 And Peter said unto him, AEneas, Jesus Christ healeth thee: arise, and make thy bed. And straightway he arose.
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲁϥϭⲱϣⲧ̅ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ. ϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲓⲁ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲟⲕ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅ̅ⲡⲱⲣϣ̅ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ.
35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ̅ⲗⲩⲇⲇⲁ ⲙⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲣⲱⲛⲁ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲁϩ ⲕⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ.
36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲡⲡⲏ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲃⲓⲑⲁ. ⲧⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲙⲉⲥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲟⲣⲕⲁⲥ. ⲧⲁⲓ̈ ⲛⲉⲥϫⲏⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ. ϩⲓⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲛⲁ. ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲉⲥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ.
37 And it came to pass in those days, that she fell sick, and died: and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper chamber.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲥϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲥ̅ⲙⲟⲩ. ⲁⲩϫⲟⲕⲙⲉⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲕⲁⲁⲥ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲉ.
38 And as Lydda was nigh unto Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men unto him, entreating him, Delay not to come on unto us.
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲉⲣⲉⲗⲩⲇⲇⲁ ⲇⲉ ϩⲏⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲓ̈ⲟⲡⲡⲏ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ. ⲁⲩϫⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡⲥ̅ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ϫⲛⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲛ.
39 And Peter arose and went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲧϥ̅ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲉⲭⲏⲣⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲩⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲩⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉϩⲉⲛϣⲧⲏⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲓ̈ⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲉⲥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ. ⲉⲥ(ⲛ)ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲇⲟⲣⲕⲁⲥ.
40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning to the body, he said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲕⲱⲗϫ̅ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉϥⲡⲁⲧ. ⲁϥϣⲗⲏⲗ. ⲁϥⲕⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ. ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲃⲓⲑⲁ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲛϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅. ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲥⲃⲁⲗ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ.
41 And he gave her his hand, and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ⲁϥϯⲧⲟⲟⲧⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥⲥ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲭⲏⲣⲁ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟⲥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲥⲟⲛϩ̅.
42 And it became known throughout all Joppa: and many believed on the Lord.
ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ⲁⲡⲁⲓ̈ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲡⲡⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲁϩ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ.
43 And it came to pass, that he abode many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϭⲱ ⲛ̅ϩⲁϩ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲡⲡⲏ ϩⲁⲧⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲁ ϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲃⲁⲕϣⲁⲁⲣ.
