< Acts 15 >

1 And certain men came down from Judaea and taught the brethren, [saying], Except ye be circumcised after the custom of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
A AKAI me kodido jan Iudaa, ap padaki on jaulan kan: Ma komail jota jirkomjaij duen tiak en Mojej, komail jota pan kak maurela.
2 And when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and questioning with them, [the brethren] appointed that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
A irail lao liak toror pajan o akakamai on Pauluj o Parnapaj, re ap inauki pena, me Pauluj o Parnapaj, o pil akai irail en kotidalan Ierujalem ren wanporon o jaunkoa kan pweki mepukat.
3 They therefore, being brought on their way by the church, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
Momodijou ap likid ir wei lao ekij waja. Irail ap weweid nan Ponijien o Jamaria o kajokajoiada duen en men liki ar wukila. Irail ari kaperenda melel jaulan kan karoj.
4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church and the apostles and the elders, and they rehearsed all things that God had done with them.
Irail lao lel Ierujalem, momodijou o wanporon, o jaunkoa kan ap kajamo ir. Irail ap katitiki meakan, me Kot kotin wiaki irail er.
5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying, It is needful to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the law of Moses.
A akai kijan pwin en Parijar, me jaulanalar, me uda indada: Me pun, en jirkomjaij ir ala, o kapi on irail, en wiawia kapun en Mojej.
6 And the apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider of this matter.
A wanporon o jaunkoa kan pokon pena, pwen kaparok duen met.
7 And when there had been much questioning, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Irail lao kapukapun pena warailar, Petruj ap kotida majani on irail: Ri ai kan, komail aja, me maj o Kot kotin pil ia dar jan nan pun omail, pwe men liki kan en rona jan nan au ai majan en ronamau o pojonla.
8 And God, which knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
A Kot me kotin ereki monion en aramaj, kotin kadede irail o kotiki on irail Nen jaraui dueta kitail,
9 and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
O a jota kotin wiada irair eu nan pun en kitail o irail ni a kotin kamakel monion arail ki pojon.
10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, that ye should put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Ari, da me komail kajonejonki Kot, en kidan pon pop en tounpadak kan lopu eu, me jam atail akan o pil kitail jota kak wa.
11 But we believe that we shall be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in like manner as they.
A kitail kin kamekamelele, me kitail pan kamaureki mak en Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj dueta irail kai.
12 And all the multitude kept silence; and they hearkened unto Barnabas and Paul rehearsing what signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
A pokon o nenenlata o roneron en Parnapaj i Pauluj ara katiti duen manaman oko o kilel kai, me Kot kotin wia kidar lim ara nan pun en men liki kan.
13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Brethren, hearken unto me:
Irail lao nenenlar, Iakopuj ap kaparok majanida: Ri ai kan komail ron ia!
14 Symeon hath rehearsed how first God did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
Jimon me kajoiada duen en Kot a kotin pwara don men liki kan ni tapi o pwen pili jan irail kainok eu on mar a.
15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
Pwe iduen majan en jaukop akan duen a intinidi:
16 After these things I will return, And I will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen; And I will build again the ruins thereof, And I will set it up:
Murin mepukat I pan puredo o kawiliakapada im en Dawid, me ronki pajaner, o pur on kauada waja me olar.
17 That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called,
Pwe luan aramaj akan en raparapaki Kaun o, pil men liki kan, me wan ad ai, iei me Kaun o majaniadar, me kin kotin wiawia.
18 Saith the Lord, who maketh these things known from the beginning of the world. (aiōn g165)
Mepukat me lolok jan ni tapi o. (aiōn g165)
19 Wherefore my judgment is, that we trouble not them which from among the Gentiles turn to God;
Ari iet me i kajauiada, kitail ender katoutoui irail me wuki on Kot jan ren men liki kan.
20 but that we write unto them, that they abstain from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.
A jen intine won irail, ren liki jan kajaut en kot mal akan, o nenek, o man mopelar akan, o nta.
21 For Moses from generations of old hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath.
Pwe jan maj kokodo jaun kawewe en Mojej kin mi nan kanim karoj, pwe re kin padapadak duen i nan jinakoke kan ni ran en japat akan karoj.
22 Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; [namely], Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
Wanporon o jaunkoa kan, o momodijou ap maukidar, en pilada ol akai jan ar pokon o porone ira wei ian Pauluj i Parnapaj, en kotila Antiokien: Iudaj, me pil ad a Parnapaj o Jilaj, ol pukat, me kaun pan jaulan kan.
23 and they wrote [thus] by them, The apostles and the elder brethren unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greeting:
A iet eten, me re intiniedier ap kadar won irail: let kit wanporon o jaunkoa kan o jaulan kan kadar won komail, ri at akan, me ko jan ren men liki kan nan Antiokien, o Jirien, o Jijilia at ranamau.
24 Forasmuch as we have heard that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls; to whom we gave no commandment;
Aki at roner, me akai, me koiei jan re at, kin kaponepone kin nen omail ar padak kan ni ar kajapune komail lar indada: Komail en jirkomjaij o kapwaiada kapun o; a je jota ki on irail kujoned akan.
25 it seemed good unto us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
Kit ap wiaki eu ni at maukidar en piladar ol akai, ap kadar won komail ianaki kompoke pat Parnapaj o Pauluj.
26 men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ol oko me tonmeteki maur ara on mar en Kaun Iejuj K rijtui.
27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also shall tell you the same things by word of mouth.
Kit ari kadar wei Iudaj o Jilaj, me pil pan kajoi on komail mepukat.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
Pwe Nen jaraui o kit kin kupukupura, me mau, je ender ki on komail eu lopu; mepukat eta me kajampwal:
29 that ye abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which if ye keep yourselves, it shall be well with you. Fare ye well.
Komail liki jan uduk, me mairon on kot likam, o nta, o man mopelar, o nenek. Ma komail liki jan mepukat, nan komail kin wiawia me mau. Ran kajelel!
30 So they, when they were dismissed, came down to Antioch; and having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle.
Irail lao pakadarala, ap kotilan Antiokien, re ap kapokon ir pena, ki on irail kijin likau o.
31 And when they had read it, they rejoiced for the consolation.
Irail lao wadoker, ap peren kidar kamait parail.
32 And Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
A Iudaj i Jilaj, me pil jaukop oko panaui kin jaulan kan kajoi toto o pil katinai ir ada.
33 And after they had spent some time [there], they were dismissed in peace from the brethren unto those that had sent them forth.
Irail mi waja o lao ran akai, ap pakadarala popol jan ren jaulan kan, pwe ren kola ren me kadar ira ala.
35 But Paul and Barnabas tarried in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
A Pauluj i Parnapaj kotikoteta Antiokien, kawewedar o padapadaki majan en Kaun o. o me toto pil ian.
36 And after some days Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city wherein we proclaimed the word of the Lord, [and see] how they fare.
Kadekadeo murin ran akai Pauluj majani on. Parnapaj: Kita pan purela ren jaulan kan, me mi kanim akan, waja kita padakier duen majan en Kaun o, o kalekalelapok due’rail.
37 And Barnabas was minded to take with them John also, who was called Mark.
A Parnapaj men ukada Ioanej, me pil ad a Markuj.
38 But Paul thought not good to take with them him who withdrew from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
A Pauluj kupura, me a jota mau, ira en ukada i, me muei jan ira nan Pampilien o jolar ian ira kolan dodok.
39 And there arose a sharp contention, so that they parted asunder one from the other, and Barnabas took Mark with him, and sailed away unto Cyprus;
Ira ari akamai pena lao ira muei pajan. Parnapaj ari ukada Markuj tana won Jipern.
40 but Paul chose Silas, and went forth, being commended by the brethren to the grace of the Lord.
Pauluj piladar Jilaj ap kotila. A jaulan kan mueidela ira ni mak en Kot.
41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
I ari kakan jili nan Jirien o Jilijia katinada momodijou kan.
