2 Samuel 23

1 Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse saith, and the man who was raised on high saith, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel:

၁ဒါဝိဒ် မြွက်ဆို သော နောက်ဆုံး စကားတည်းဟူသော ၊ ယာကုပ် အမျိုး၏ဘုရား သခင့်အခွင့်နှင့် ဘိသိက် ခံရ၍ ဘုန်းကြီး သောသူ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ချိုမြိန် စွာ သီချင်း ဆိုသော ယေရှဲ ၏သား ဒါဝိဒ် မြွက်ဆို သော ပရောဖက်စကားဟူမူကား၊

2 The spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was upon my tongue.

၂ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည်ငါ့ အားဖြင့် မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်သည် ငါ့ လျှာ ၌ တည်၏။

3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me: One that ruleth over men righteously, that ruleth in the fear of God,

၃ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရား သခင်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ကျောက် သည် ငါ့ အားဖြင့် မိန့်မြွက် တော်မူသည် ကား၊ လူ တို့ကို အုပ်စိုး သောသူသည် တရား သဖြင့် စီရင်၍ ဘုရား သခင်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ လျက် အုပ်စိုး ရမည်။

4 [He shall be] as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, a morning without clouds; [when] the tender grass [springeth] out of the earth, through clear shining after rain.

၄မိုဃ်း မ အုံ့၊ နေ ထွက် သော နံနက် အလင်း ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်း ရွာပြီးမှ နေ ပေါ်ထွန်းသဖြင့် မြေ ၌ ပေါက်သော မြက်နု ကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်ရလိမ့်မည်။

5 Verily my house is not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for it is all my salvation, and all [my] desire, although he maketh it not to grow.

၅ငါ့ အမျိုးအနွယ် သည် ဘုရား သခင့်ရှေ့ တော်၌ မြဲမြံ သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ သေချာ စွာ စီရင်၍ မပျက်နိုင်သော နိစ္စ ထာဝရပဋိညာဉ် ကို ငါ နှင့် ဖွဲ့ တော်မူပြီ။ ထိုပဋိညာဉ်သည် ချက်ခြင်းမပြည့်စုံသော်လည်း၊ ငါ့ ကို ကယ်တင် ရာအကြောင်း၊ ငါအားရ နှစ်သက်ရာအကြောင်းဖြစ်၏။

6 But the ungodly shall be all of them as thorns to be thrust away, for they cannot be taken with the hand:

၆အဓမ္မ လူအပေါင်း တို့မူကား လက် နှင့် မ ကိုင်သာ၊ ပယ်ရှား ရသောဆူးပင် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

7 But the man that toucheth them must be armed with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in [their] place.

၇ပယ်ရှား သောသူ သည် သံချပ် အင်္ကျီနှင့် လှံတံ ကို သုံးဆောင် သဖြင့်၊ ဆူးပင်ပေါက်သောအရပ် ၌ ပင် ရှင်းရှင်းမီး ရှို့ ရသတည်း။

8 These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: Josheb-basshebeth a Tahchemonite, chief of the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite, against eight hundred slain at one time.

၈ဒါဝိဒ် ၏အမှုတော်ထမ်းသူရဲကြီး တို့၏ အမည် များဟူမူကား ၊ ဟပ္မေါနိ အမျိုးယာရှောဘံသည် ဗိုလ်ချုပ် ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုသူသည် လှံ ကိုကိုင်လျက် လူသုံးရာကို တခါတည်း တိုက်၍ လုပ်ကြံ လေ၏။

9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodai the son of an Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:

၉သူ နောက် မှာ အဟောဟိ အမျိုးဒေါဒေါ သား ဧလာဇာ သည် ဒါဝိဒ် နှင့်အတူ လိုက်သော သူရဲ သုံး ယောက်အဝင် ဖြစ်၏။ စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းငှါ စုဝေး သော ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့ကို ကြိမ်းပ ၍ ဣသရေလ လူ တို့သည် ဆုတ်သွား သောအခါ၊

10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.

၁၀ထိုသူ သည် လက် ညောင်း ၍ ထား ၌ မှီ လျက်နေရ သည်တိုင်အောင် ထ ၍ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ သဖြင့် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ထို နေ့၌ ကြီးစွာ သော အောင်မြင် ခြင်း ကို ပြု တော်မူ၍ ၊ သူတို့သည် ရန်သူတို့၏ ဥစ္စာကို လုယူ ခြင်းငှါ သာ ပြန်လာ ကြ၏။

11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agce a Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a plot of ground full of lentils; and the people fled from the Philistines.

၁၁သူ့ နောက် မှာ ဟရရိ အမျိုးအာဂိ ၏သား ရှမ္မ သည်ရှိ၏။ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့သည် ပြောင်းစပါးစိုက်သော လယ်ကွက် ၌ စုဝေး ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလလူ တို့သည် ပြေး ကြသောအခါ၊

12 But he stood in the midst of the plot, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

၁၂ထိုသူသည် လယ်ကွက် အလယ် ၌ ရပ် ၍ စောင့်မ လျက် ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ သဖြင့် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကြီးစွာ သော အောင် ခြင်းကို ပြု တော်မူ၏။

13 And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of Adullam; and the troop of the Philistines were encamped in the valley of Rephaim.

၁၃ဗိုလ် စုအဝင်သုံး ယောက်တို့သည် စပါး ရိတ်ရာ ကာလ၌ ၊ ဒါဝိဒ် ရှိရာ အဒုလံ ဥမှင် သို့ ဆင်းသွား ၍ ၊ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့သည် ရေဖိမ် ချိုင့် ၌ တပ်ချ လျက် ရှိကြ၏။

14 And David was then in the hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Beth-lehem.

၁၄ထိုအခါ ဒါဝိဒ် သည် ရဲတိုက် တွင် နေ၍ ၊ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့သည် ဗက်လင် မြို့၌ တပ်ချ ကြ၏။

15 And David longed and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beth-lehem which is by the gate!

၁၅ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း ၊ တစုံတယောက်သောသူသည် ဗက်လင် မြို့တံခါး နား မှာရှိသော ရေတွင်း ထဲက ရေ ကို ခပ်၍ ငါ့ အားပေး ပါစေသောဟု တောင့်တ သောစိတ် နှင့် ဆို သော်၊

16 And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Beth-lehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD.

၁၆ထိုသူရဲ သုံး ယောက်တို့သည် ဖိလိတ္တိ တပ် ကို ဖျက် ၍ ဗက်လင် မြို့ တံခါး နား မှာရှိသော ရေတွင်း ထဲက ရေ ကို ခပ်ယူ ပြီးလျှင် ဒါဝိဒ် ထံ တော်သို့ ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ ဒါဝိဒ်သည်မ သောက် ဘဲ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌သွန်း လျက်၊

17 And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: [shall I drink] the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.

၁၇အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ဤ ရေကို သောက်သောအမှု သည် အကျွန်ုပ် နှင့် ဝေး ပါစေသော။ ဤရေသည် ကိုယ် အသက် ကိုမနှမြောဘဲသွား သောသူ တို့ ၏အသွေး ဖြစ်ပါသည် မဟုတ်ပါလော ဟု လျှောက် ၍ မ သောက် ဘဲနေ၏။ ထိုသူရဲ သုံး ယောက်တို့သည် ထိုသို့ သောအမှုတို့ကိုပြု ကြ၏။

18 And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief of the three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred and slew them, and had a name among the three.

၁၈ဇေရုယာ သား ယွာဘ ညီ အဘိရှဲ သည်လည်း သူရဲ သုံး ယောက်တွင် အကြီး ဖြစ်၏။ သူ သည်လှံ ကိုကိုင်၍ လူသုံး ရာ တို့ကို တိုက်ဖျက်လုပ်ကြံ သောကြောင့်၊ သူရဲ သုံး ယောက်အဝင်နေရာရသတည်း။

19 Was he not most honourable of the three? therefore he was made their captain: howbeit he attained not unto the [first] three.

၁၉သူရဲသုံး ယောက်တွင် အမြတ်ဆုံး ဖြစ်သည် မဟုတ်လော။ ထိုကြောင့် ဗိုလ်ချုပ် အရာကိုရ ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ပဌမသူရဲသုံး ယောက်တို့ကိုမ မှီ။

20 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, he slew the two [sons of] Ariel of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow:

၂၀အထူးသဖြင့် ပြု ဘူးသောကပ်ဇေလ မြို့သားသူရဲ ယောယဒ ၏ သား ဗေနာယ သည်လည်း ခြင်္သေ့ နှင့် တူသော မောဘ လူနှစ် ယောက်ကိုသတ် ၏။ ဆောင်း ကာလ ၌ လည်း အခြားသို့သွား ၍ မြေတွင်း ၌ ရှိသောခြင်္သေ့ ကိုသတ် ၏။

21 And he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and slew him with his own spear.

၂၁ထူးခြား သောအဲဂုတ္တု လူ ကိုလည်း သတ် ၏။ အဲဂုတ္တု လူသည်လှံ ကို ကိုင် သော်လည်း ၊ ဗေနာယသည် တောင်ဝေး ကိုသာ ကိုင်လျက်သွား ၍ အဲဂုတ္တု လူလက် မှ လှံ ကိုလုယူ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထိုလှံ နှင့် သူ့ ကိုသတ် ၏။

22 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had a name among the three mighty men.

၂၂ထိုသို့ သောအမှုတို့ကို ယောယဒ သား ဗေနာယ ပြု ၍ သူရဲ သုံး ယောက်အဝင် နေရာကို ရ၏။

23 He was more honourable than the thirty, but he attained not to the [first] three. And David set him over his guard.

၂၃ဗိုလ်များထက် သာ၍မြတ် သော်လည်း ၊ ပဌမ သူရဲသုံး ယောက်တို့ကို မ မှီ။ ဒါဝိဒ် သည် အတွင်းဝန်ချုပ် အရာကိုလည်း ပေး ၏။

24 Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of Beth-lehem;

၂၄ယွာဘ ညီ အာသဟေလ သည်လည်း ဗိုလ်စုအဝင် ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုအတူဗက်လင် မြို့နေ၊ ဒေါဒေါ ၏သား ဧလဟာနန်၊

25 Shammah the Harodite, Elika the Harodite;

၂၅ဟရောဒိ အမျိုးရှမ္မ ၊ ဟရောဒိ အမျိုးဧလိက၊

26 Helez the Paltite, Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite;

၂၆ဖာလတိ အမျိုးဟေလက် ၊ တေကော အမျိုး ဣကေရှ ၏သား ဣရ၊

27 Abiezer the Anathothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite;

၂၇အနေသောသိ အမျိုးအဗျေဇာ ၊ ဟုရှသိ အမျိုး မေဗုန္နဲ ၊

28 Zalmon the Ahohite, Maharai the Netophathite;

၂၈အဟောဟိ အမျိုးဇာလမုန် ၊ နေတောဖာသိ အမျိုး မဟာရဲ ၊

29 Heleb the son of Baanah the Netophathite, Ittai the son of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Benjamin;

၂၉နေတာဖာသိ အမျိုးဗာနာ သား ဟေလက် ၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုး ဂိဗာ မြို့နေ၊ ရိဘဲ ၏ သား အိတ္တဲ၊

30 Benaiah a Pirathonite, Hiddai of the brooks of Gaash;

၃၀ပိရသောနိ အမျိုးဗေနာယ ၊ ဂါရှ ချိုင့် သားဟိဒ္ဒဲ၊

31 Abi-albon the Arbathite, Azmaveth the Barhumite;

၃၁အာဗသိ အမျိုး အဗျာလဗုန် ၊ ဗာဟုမိ အမျိုး အာဇမာဝက်၊

32 Eliahba the Shaalbonite, the sons of Jashen, Jonathan;

၃၂ရှာလဗောနိ အမျိုးဧလျာဘ ၊ ယာရှင် ၏သား တို့တွင် ယောနသန်၊

33 Shammah the Hararite, Ahiam the son of Sharar the Ararite;

၃၃ဟာရရိ အမျိုးရှမ္မ ၊ ဟာရရိ အမျိုးရှာရ ၏ သား အဟိအံ၊

34 Eliphelet the son of Ahasbai, the son of the Maacathite, Eliam the son of Ahithophel the Gilonite;

၃၄မာခါသိ အမျိုးအဟသဘဲ ၏သား ဧလိဖလက် ၊ ဂိလောနိ အမျိုး အဟိသောဖေလ ၏သား ဧလျံ၊

35 Hezro the Carmelite, Paarai the Arbite;

၃၅ကရမေလ အမျိုးဟေဇရဲ ၊ အာဘိ အမျိုးဖာရဲ၊

36 Igal the son of Nathan of Zobah, Bani the Gadite;

၃၆ဇောဘ အမျိုးနာသန် ၏သား ဣဂါလ ၊ ဂဒ် အမျိုး ဗာနိ ၊

37 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Beerothite, armourbearers to Joab the son of Zeruiah;

၃၇အမ္မုန် အမျိုးဇေလက် ၊ ဇေရုယာ ၏သား ယွာဘ ၏ လက်နက် ဆောင် လုလင် ဗေရောသိ အမျိုးနဟာရဲ၊

38 Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite;

၃၈ဣသရိ အမျိုးဣရ ၊ ဣသရိ အမျိုးဂါရက်၊

39 Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all.

၃၉ဟိတ္တိ အမျိုးဥရိယ ၊ ပေါင်း သုံး ဆယ်ခုနစ် ယောက် တည်း။
