< 2 Peter 3 >
1 This is now, beloved, the second epistle that I write unto you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by putting you in remembrance;
Atûn ku ruol moroi ngei, ma hih ke lekhamuthuon avoinikna ani. Ke lekhamuthuon anruonin hi chong hih rietmintharna nangni pêka nin mulungrîla mindona inthieng, mintharna rangin ko bôk ani.
2 that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles:
Tienlâia Dêipu inthieng ngei chongphuong le ei Pumapa le Sanminringpu chongpêk nin tîrtonngei nangni pêk hah nin riet minthar rangin ku nuom.
3 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers shall come with mockery, walking after their own lusts,
Amotontaka, nin riet ngêt rang chu sûn mongnatak ngeia han mi senkhat ngei chu an ringnun hah an ôina jêk mi lân lang an tih. Tusiem nangni thona an ta,
4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
male “Juong nôk rangin chong ânkhâm ni mak mo? Ama hah khonmo aom zoi? Kin richibulngei an thi suo zoia, nikhomrese, rammuol insieng phut renga neinuntin ani ngagâiin an la om tita?” la tîng an tih.
5 For this they wilfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God;
Hi chongdikngei hih an riet ngôngin an nôngpai ngâi. Pathien chongpêkin invân le pilchung hih isin ani. Pilchung hih tui renga tui sikin a hong oma,
6 by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
male tui nanâkin ani, tuisânglienin rammuol muruo hah sietminmang ani.
7 but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Nikhomrese, atûna invânngei le pilchung aom ngei hi chu meia sietminmang theina rangin Pathien chongpêk nanâka hôi ania. Anni ngei hah pathienboi mingei roijêkna le sietminmangna nikhuoa ranga dar an ni.
8 But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Hannirese, hi neinun inkhat hih mingil no roi, ka mal moroi ngei! Pathien mitmua chu sûnkhat le kum isângkhat hih ateina om maka; ama rangin chu ân angbang ani.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Mi senkhatngei an mindon anghan Pumapa chu a chongkhâma innu mak. Ânnu niloiin, tute inmang loia, mi murdi an nunsiena renga an hong insîr rang nuomin nangni tieng a tuongdier ani.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Aniatachu Pumapa Nikhuo chu inru angin juong atih. Ha nikhuoa han chu rahang inringtak le invâna neinunngei kângin inmang a ta, pilchung le asûnga neinunngei murdi khom inmangrip atih.
11 Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in [all] holy living and godliness,
Ma neinunngei murdi hah ma anghan sietminmang ani rangin te, kho anga mi mo nin ni rang ani zoi? Nin ringnun hah ânthieng le Pathien kôma pêkruo ani rang ani.
12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Pathien Nikhuo nin ngâk atung inrang theina rangin nin theidôr ranak song roi, invânngei akânga sietminmang rang Nikhuo le invâna neinunngei alum sika ajôina rang Nikhuo hah.
13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Aniatachu eini chu Pathien chongkhâm anghan invân thar le pilchung thar, asûnga dikna hah ei omna in rang ei ngâk ani.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.
Masikin ka mal moroi ngei, ha Nikhuo hah nin ngâk anghan Pathien mitmua inthieng le demnaboia oma, ama leh inngêia om rangin nin theidôr ranak song roi
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you;
Ei Pumapa'n nangni sanminring ranga zoranchum nangni a pêka a tuongdier hah en roi, ei lâibungpa moroi Paul khomin Pathien vârna pêk mangin nin kôm a miziek anga han.
16 as also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
A lekhamuthuon murdia ha chonglupui hah a miziekin chu mahah ai ti ngâi ani. A lekhamuthuona neinun senkhat ngei chu a riet ântaka mahah vârloi le detloi mingei Pathien lekhabua rachang dang an itho ngâi anghan dikloitakin an rilminthâr ngâia, masikin an chunga sietna anni nanâkin an mintung ngâi.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, knowing [these things] beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.
Aniatachu, ku ruol moroi nangni ngeiin chu mahah nin lei rietsai ani. Masikin balamboi mingei minchâina han nangni ruoi minmangin nin dingmun adetna renga nin inlet loina rangin singthei roi.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] the glory both now and for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Hannirese, ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista moroina le rietna han insôn tit roi. Roiinpuina hah atûn le kumtuongin ama kôma om tit rese! Amen. (aiōn )
