< 2 Corinthians 4 >

1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we faint not:
Pamhnama m’yeneinak am ahina khutbi a jah peta kyase, kami ktha am se.
2 but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
Angthupnaka bilawha khyakeinak kami yawk hütki. Hleihlaknak am bilo u lü, Pamhnama ngthu khyang mhleinak vaia am kami biloki; ngthungtak ksingsak u lü, Pamhnama hmuha khyang naküta ngaiha dawnak va kami biloki.
3 But and if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that are perishing:
Kami sanga thangkdaw thupa akya üng pi khyükaki hea phäha ni thupa akya ve.
4 in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn [upon them]. (aiōn g165)
Acukba am jummeiki he cun khawmdek mhnama johit naw ami ksingnak nghmüp khui üng a jah thupa phäha kyaki. Ami khana vaikia akvai, thangkdaw üngka naw lawkia Khritawa hlüngtainak cun amät Pamhnam kunga tängpüi, ami hmuhnak thei üngka naw Khawmdek mhnam naw a jah thupa kyaki. (aiōn g165)
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
Kami mäta mawngma am pyen u nawng, Jesuh Khritaw Bawia a kyanak la Jesuha phäha m'ya kami kyanaka mawng ni kami pyen ve.
6 Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Jesuh Khritawa hmai üng Pamhnama hlüngtainak, ksingnaka akvai, vainak jah pe khaia, “Nghmüp üngka akvai vai law khai,” tikia Pamhnam kung naw mi mlungmthin he üng akvai vai lawsaki.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;
Cunsepi khyaihnak cun mimi üngka am kya lü, Pamhnama vei üngka akyanak a ngdangnak vaia, acuna ngmüimkhya khawh cun mdek k’am üng mi taki.
8 [we are] pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair;
Ahmäi üng ami jah mkhuimkha, cunsepi am kami mhmüiki; kami mlung naki, cunsepi kami mlung am uplat ve;
9 pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed;
kami ye daki, cunsepi kami püi he awmki he; ami jah mkhuimkha, cunsepi am kami pyehki;
10 always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.
kami pumsa üng Jesuha xünnak angdangnak vaia, Jesuha thihnak kami pumsa üng angläta kami phüiki.
11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
Isetiakyaküng, thi theikia kami pumsa üng Jesuha xünnak angdangnak thei vaia, kami xün k'um üng Jesuha phäha thi khai hlawka ami jah pawh khawi.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
Acunakyase, thihnak naw keimi üng khutbi bi se, xünnak naw nangmi üng khutbi biki.
13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, I believed, and therefore did I speak; we also believe, and therefore also we speak;
Cangcim üng, “Ka juma phäha ngthu ka pyenki” tia a ng’yuka kba, acuna ngmüimkhya jumnak bä am keimi naw pi kami pyenki.
14 knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also with Jesus, and shall present us with you.
Bawipa Jesuh mtho bekia Pamhnam naw keimi pi Jesuh mah maha jah mtho be lü, nangmi am atänga a veia jah cehpüi khai tia kami ksingki.
15 For all things [are] for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound unto the glory of God.
Avan hin nangmia phäha ni; Pamhnama bäkhäknak cun khyang khawjaha veia apha üng, Pamhnama hlüngtainak cun ktaiyü lü jenak pyen khai he.
16 Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
Acunakyase kami mlung ktha am se, kami kpung lam khyang pyehpyam sepi kami ngmüimkhya khyang cun amhmüp tä se pyang be kthai laih laiha kyaki.
17 For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; (aiōnios g166)
Am mawngkia kami khuikhanak, atuh asäng khuikhanak kami kham hin naw dämduh lü angläta hlüngtainak law püi khai. Acun cun atuh mi khameia kthaka däm säihki. (aiōnios g166)
18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Hmuh thei am teng u lü, am hmuh thei kami tengki; hmuh theie cun asängca vaia kya lü, am hmuh theie cun angläta kyaki. (aiōnios g166)
