2 Chronicles 29

1 Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old; and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Abijah the daughter of Zechariah.

۱ حزقیا بیست و پنج ساله بود که پادشاه شد و بیست و نه سال در اورشلیم سلطنت نمود، و اسم مادرش ابیه دختر زکریا بود.

2 And he did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.

۲ و او آنچه در نظر خداوند پسند بود، موافق هرآنچه پدرش داود کرده بود، به عمل آورد.

3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the door of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.

۳ و در ماه اول از سال اول سلطنت خوددرهای خانه خداوند را گشوده، آنها را تعمیرنمود.

4 And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east,

۴ و کاهنان و لاویان را آورده، ایشان را درمیدان شرقی جمع کرد.

5 and said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites; now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

۵ و به ایشان گفت: «ای لاویان مرا بشنوید! الان خویشتن را تقدیس نمایید و خانه یهوه خدای پدران خود را تقدیس کرده، نجاسات را از قدس بیرون برید.

6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the sight of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.

۶ زیرا که پدران ما خیانت ورزیده، آنچه در نظر یهوه خدای ما ناپسند بود به عمل آوردند و او را ترک کرده، روی خود را از مسکن خداوند تافتند وپشت به آن دادند.

7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.

۷ و درهای رواق را بسته، چراغها را خاموش کردند و بخور نسوزانیدند وقربانی های سوختنی در قدس خدای اسرائیل نگذرانیدند.

8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to be tossed to and fro, to be an astonishment, and an hissing, as ye see with your eyes.

۸ پس خشم خداوند بر یهودا واورشلیم افروخته شد و ایشان را محل تشویش ودهشت و سخریه ساخت، چنانکه شما به چشمان خود می‌بینید.

9 For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

۹ و اینک پدران ما به شمشیر افتادند و پسران و دختران و زنان ما از این سبب به اسیری رفتند.

10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.

۱۰ الان اراده دارم که بایهوه خدای اسرائیل عهد ببندم تا حدت خشم اواز ما برگردد.

11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to minister unto him, and that ye should be his ministers, and burn incense.

۱۱ پس حال، ای پسران من، کاهلی مورزید زیرا خداوند شما را برگزیده است تا به حضور وی ایستاده، او را خدمت نمایید وخادمان او شده، بخور‌سوزانید.»

12 Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel: and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:

۱۲ آنگاه بعضی از لاویان برخاستند یعنی ازبنی قهاتیان محت بن عماسای و یوئیل بن عزریا واز بنی مراری قیس بن عبدی و عزریا ابن یهللئیل واز جرشونیان یوآخ بن زمه و عیدن بن یوآخ.

13 and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel: and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah:

۱۳ واز بنی الیصافان شمری و یعیئیل و از بنی آساف زکریا و متنیا.

14 and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.

۱۴ و از بنی هیمان یحیئیل و شمعی و از بنی یدوتون شمعیا و عزیئیل.

15 And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.

۱۵ و برادران خود را جمع کرده، خویشتن را تقدیس نمودند وموافق فرمان پادشاه، برحسب کلام خداوند برای تطهیر خانه خداوند داخل شدند.

16 And the priests went in unto the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad to the brook Kidron.

۱۶ و کاهنان به اندرون خانه خداوند رفته، آن را طاهر ساختند وهمه نجاسات را که در هیکل خداوند یافتند، به صحن خانه خداوند بیرون آوردند و لاویان آن راگرفته، خارج شهر به وادی قدرون بیرون بردند.

17 Now they began on the first [day] of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD; and they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days: and on the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

۱۷ و در غره ماه اول به تقدیس نمودنش شروع کردند، و در روز هشتم ماه به رواق خداوندرسیدند و در هشت روز خانه خداوند را تقدیس نموده، در روز شانزدهم ماه اول آن را به اتمام رسانیدند.

18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within [the palace], and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the table of shewbread, with all the vessels thereof.

۱۸ پس نزد حزقیا پادشاه به اندرون قصر داخل شده، گفتند: «تمامی خانه خداوند ومذبح قربانی سوختنی و همه اسبابش و میز نان تقدمه را با همه آلاتش طاهر ساختیم.

19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away when he trespassed, have we prepared and sanctified; and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.

۱۹ و تمامی اسبابی که آحاز پادشاه در ایام سلطنتش حینی که خیانت ورزید دور انداخت ما آنها را مهیا ساخته، تقدیس نمودیم و اینک پیش مذبح خداوندحاضر است.»

20 Then Hezekiah the king arose early, and gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.

۲۰ پس حزقیا پادشاه صبح زود برخاست وروسای شهر را جمع کرده، به خانه خداوندبرآمد.

21 And they brought seven bullocks; and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he-goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.

۲۱ و ایشان هفت گاو و هفت قوچ و هفت بره و هفت بز نر آوردند تا برای مملکت و قدس ویهودا قربانی گناه بشود و او پسران هارون کهنه رافرمود تا آنها را بر مذبح خداوند بگذرانند.

22 So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: and they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and sprinkled the blood upon the altar.

۲۲ پس گاوان را کشتند و کاهنان، خون را گرفته بر مذبح پاشیدند و قوچها را کشته خون را بر مذبح پاشیدند و بره‌ها را کشته خون را بر مذبح پاشیدند.

23 And they brought near the he-goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:

۲۳ پس بزهای قربانی گناه را به حضور پادشاه وجماعت نزدیک آورده، دستهای خود را بر آنهانهادند.

24 and the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood upon the altar, to make atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded [that] the burnt offering and the sin offering [should be made] for all Israel.

۲۴ و کاهنان آنها را کشته، خون را بر مذبح برای قربانی گناه گذرانیدند تا به جهت تمامی اسرائیل کفاره بشود زیرا که پادشاه فرموده بود که قربانی سوختنی و قربانی گناه به جهت تمامی اسرائیل بشود.

25 And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet: for the commandment was of the LORD by his prophets.

۲۵ و او لاویان را با سنجها و بربطها و عودهابرحسب فرمان داود و جاد، رایی پادشاه و ناتان نبی در خانه خداوند قرار داد زیرا که این حکم ازجانب خداوند به‌دست انبیای او شده بود.

26 And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

۲۶ پس لاویان با آلات داود و کاهنان با کرناها ایستادند.

27 And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar, And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also, and the trumpets, together with the instruments of David king of Israel.

۲۷ و حزقیا امر فرمود که قربانی های سوختنی رابر مذبح بگذرانند و چون به گذرانیدن قربانی سوختنی شروع نمودند، سرودهای خداوند را بناکردند و کرناها در عقب آلات داود، پادشاه اسرائیل، نواخته شد.

28 And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this [continued] until the burnt offering was finished.

۲۸ و تمامی جماعت سجده کردند و مغنیان سراییدند و کرنانوازان نواختند وهمه این کارها می‌شد تا قربانی سوختنی تمام گردید.

29 And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves and worshipped.

۲۹ و چون قربانی های سوختنی تمام شد، پادشاه و جمیع حاضرین با وی رکوع کرده، سجده نمودند.

30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

۳۰ و حزقیا پادشاه و روسا لاویان را امر فرمودند که به کلمات داود و آساف رایی برای خداوند تسبیح بخوانند. پس با شادمانی تسبیح خواندند و رکوع نموده، سجده کردند.

31 Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a willing heart [brought] burnt offerings.

۳۱ پس حزقیا جواب داده، گفت: «حال خویشتن را برای خداوند تقدیس نمودید. پس نزدیک آمده، قربانی‌ها و ذبایح تشکر به خانه خداوند بیاورید.» آنگاه جماعت قربانی‌ها وذبایح تشکر آوردند و هر‌که از دل راغب بودقربانی های سوختنی آورد.

32 And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.

۳۲ و عدد قربانی های سوختنی که جماعت آوردند، هفتاد گاو و صدقوچ و دویست بره بود. همه اینها قربانی های سوختنی برای خداوند بود.

33 And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

۳۳ و عدد موقوفات ششصد گاو و سه هزار گوسفند بود.

34 But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

۳۴ و چون کاهنان کم بودند و به پوست کندن همه قربانی های سوختنی قادر نبودند، برادران ایشان لاویان، ایشان را مدد کردند تا کار تمام شد و تاکاهنان، خود را تقدیس نمودند زیرا که دل لاویان از کاهنان برای تقدیس نمودن خود مستقیم تربود.

35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

۳۵ و قربانی های سوختنی نیز با پیه ذبایح سلامتی و هدایای ریختنی برای هر قربانی سوختنی، بسیار بود. پس خدمت خانه خداوندآراسته شد.

36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because of that which God had prepared for the people: for the thing was done suddenly.

۳۶ و حزقیا و تمامی قوم شادی کردند چونکه خدا قوم را مستعد ساخته بود زیرااین امر ناگهان واقع شد.
