2 Chronicles 29
1 Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old; and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Abijah the daughter of Zechariah.
੧ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪੱਚੀਆਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉਨੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਬਿਯਾਹ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ
2 And he did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
੨ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹੋ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੀਕ ਸੀ।
3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the door of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.
੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕੀਤੀ
4 And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east,
੪ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ
5 and said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites; now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.
੫ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਲੇਵੀਓ, ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣੋ! ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੈਲ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਓ
6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the sight of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
੬ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੇਈਮਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਰਾ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ
7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.
੭ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਡਿਉੜੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੀਵੇ ਬੁਝਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਧੂਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਧੁਖਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ
8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to be tossed to and fro, to be an astonishment, and an hissing, as ye see with your eyes.
੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਲ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਧਿਤਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ
9 For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
੯ਵੇਖੋ, ਇਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ
10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
੧੦ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਘੋਰ ਕਹਿਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਟਲ ਜਾਵੇ
11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to minister unto him, and that ye should be his ministers, and burn incense.
੧੧ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਢਿੱਲੇ ਨਾ ਪੈਣਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਬਣੋ ਅਤੇ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾਓ।
12 Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel: and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:
੧੨ਤਦ ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਉੱਠੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਮਾਸਈ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਹਥ ਅਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੀਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਯਹਲਲਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਮਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਹ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਏਦਨ
13 and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel: and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah:
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਅਲੀਸਾਫ਼ਾਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਮਰੀ, ਯਿਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਾਫ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਤਨਯਾਹ
14 and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਹੇਮਾਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੀਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਯਦੂਥੂਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਜ਼ੀਏਲ
15 And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.
੧੫ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਾਕ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਏ
16 And the priests went in unto the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad to the brook Kidron.
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਮੈਲ਼ ਕੁਚੈਲ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੱਭੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਦਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਤਲਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ
17 Now they began on the first [day] of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD; and they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days: and on the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.
੧੭ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਾਰੀਖ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜੀ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਠਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੋ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੋਲਾਂ ਤਾਰੀਖ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ
18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within [the palace], and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the table of shewbread, with all the vessels thereof.
੧੮ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਤ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ
19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away when he trespassed, have we prepared and sanctified; and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.
੧੯ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਈਮਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹਨ।
20 Then Hezekiah the king arose early, and gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
੨੦ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ
21 And they brought seven bullocks; and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he-goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.
੨੧ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੱਤ ਬਲ਼ਦ, ਸੱਤ ਛੱਤਰੇ, ਸੱਤ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤ ਬੱਕਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਲਈ, ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪਾਪ ਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਓ
22 So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: and they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and sprinkled the blood upon the altar.
੨੨ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਲ਼ਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਛੱਤ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ
23 And they brought near the he-goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:
੨੩ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਾਪ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖੇ
24 and the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood upon the altar, to make atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded [that] the burnt offering and the sin offering [should be made] for all Israel.
੨੪ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਬਲੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ
25 And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet: for the commandment was of the LORD by his prophets.
੨੫ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੈਣਿਆਂ, ਸਿਤਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਬਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਗਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨਬੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ
26 And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.
੨੬ਤਾਂ ਲੇਵੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਨਰਸਿੰਗੇ ਫੂਕਦੇ ਸਨ
27 And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar, And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also, and the trumpets, together with the instruments of David king of Israel.
੨੭ਅਤੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਰੰਭ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਨਰਸਿੰਗਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਇਆ
28 And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this [continued] until the burnt offering was finished.
੨੮ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਨੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਰਸਿੰਗਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਰਸਿੰਗੇ ਫੂਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਦਾ ਜਲਣਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ
29 And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves and worshipped.
੨੯ਜਦ ਉਹ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ
30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
੩੦ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਵਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਗਾਓ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ
31 Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a willing heart [brought] burnt offerings.
੩੧ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ, ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਓ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ ਲਿਆਓ। ਤਦ ਸਭਾ ਨੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲਿਆਂਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇਰਿਆ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਲਿਆਇਆ
32 And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
੩੨ਅਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਸਭਾ ਲਿਆਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਹ ਸੀ, ਸੱਤਰ ਬਲ਼ਦ, ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਛੱਤਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਭੇਡਾਂ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਸਨ
33 And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.
੩੩ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਹ ਸਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ
34 But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
੩੪ਪਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਥੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੱਲ ਨਾ ਲਾਹ ਸਕੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਾਈ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਮੁੱਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਲੇਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਸਨ
35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.
੩੫ਨਾਲੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਸਣੇ, ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਲਈ ਠੀਕ ਹੋਇਆ
36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because of that which God had prepared for the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
੩੬ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
